This books is filled with interesting facts about ants! It would be great for a lesson on ants, or even on insects. A teacher could use this book in conjunction with another book about a different insect. Students could compare/contrast the 2 bugs! Great book for grades K-3.
K-3, Non-fiction, great book to use to teach insect unit on ants. Wonderful pictures and very interesting facts. The kids love to learn about these creepy crawling creatures and this book has some up close pictures that are really fun to look at.
Lots of interesting facts about ants. My boys are passionate about pokemon, and by extention, have some interest in insects. We had some good conversations while reading this.
