Youngin' Blues: The Story of Reed and RaKeem

And her beautiful head was a compass.” After falling victim to the vicious Philly streets, Reed and RaKeem are victorious. Time has elapsed and the young couple is making waves in only a way that is represented by strength. RaKeem, the young boss, has implemented his name in the game, without touching even an ounce of crack rock. With his girl, Reed, by his side, the couple is on a hunt for money and power. Although the dominant duo is far beyond their years, they both suffer from the same crippling forces of any other partnership, born so prematurely. Deceit and guile linger in their space, impeding their glorious destiny. The urge of separation, lack of communication, and partial influence amongst others arises as both Reed and RaKeem tries desperately to get back to one another. With masked intentions, fleshly temptations threaten to dismantle the bond that is shared between the two, but neither Reed or RaKeem are willing to hand over the thrown.

I fell in love with every minute of this book. The beginning had me scared thinking Rakeem would marry somebody else but thank god it was just a dream. I was upset that he stepped out but at the end of the day they both realized that the love they shared for each other was real and true. I'm excited to continue reading about Kenzu, because love could have you wanting to try again or turn you cold hearted. I hope that Kenzu could find someone who could turn her heart warm again. Excellent read Mercy B

I was really excited to read this book. However it wasn't what I thought it would be. Having read the Bella & Rahmeek saga, I thought it was gonna be near enough on the same level or better. Don't really feel like there was too much to it. Nonetheless I am looking forward to reading about KinZu (there's an extract of her story at the end of the book).

Yassss to that ending by the way! Reed grew up to be a nice young woman and a beast of a consultant. I really thought Keem was done with the foolishness after all he been through. I don't understand why Dainty was comfortable being the sidechic but I'm glad she wasn't messy. Keem deserved to know what heartache felt like cause he had no business cheating at all. All and all this was a good book

Really Good!!
This was such an entertaining story of the young couple and there journey into an adult relationship.But I would have liked to have seen more of them actually dealing with their problems and her personal demons a little more.Overall I am just in love with this family saga.

Alright read, nothing to it really that’s worth being excited about. I’m still trying to figure if they were consultants for drug dealers or not. If so that’s soooo wack, like come on! If the next one is about her spending all that time to get a degree just to be an escort, I doubt I’d be enjoying that one either.

OMJESUS!!!
First let me say, wow! Like you had me over here crying, like going through it!!! When Reed found out about Danity's ol trifling ass I felt her pain. But baby when Keem started crying I was DONE!!!! Man the pain he went through losing her, then being without her...ugh it was horrible! This is probably my favorite of the series! I love a book where I can emotionally connect with the characters and you did that Mercy!!! Great freaking book!!!!

Satisfied Reader
This'd author never ceases to amaze me. I love this story and how Reed and Keem have grown. They're perfect for each other. Event tho he did the unthinkable he has a great woman in his corner. I thought him and Danity's situation was the end for them. But with the support team of Bella,Kinzu and Kelly they had her to rethink things thru. Reed better had learned his lesson. I love happy endings. Great Job.

Rakeem getting married to whom cause Reed walk in on the wedding. Johnathan wasn't meant for KinZu. He seems more into Rachel then her. Why did Rakeem cheat Reed has been through a lot. ROC was a strict brother. Him and Kelly make a cute couple. I hope a book comes out about them. Reed Intuition about the shirt Danity had on was right. Danity knew about Reed she in the dorm under her. Bella and Kelly was rooting for him. I can't wait to read about KinZu Noble.

Raheem definitely got the Youngin' Blues
At first I didn't know what to expect from this book, but it turned out to be a page turner. Reed and Rakeem is great together and it's sad that Rakeem cheated but he got right at the end... I can't wait to read about KinZu because she definitely deserves happiness, but the question is, with who? I kinda rooting for Johnathan!!!!

Love!!!
This book was so good. I can't begin to tell you why you need to get this book. This was a true love story, yes you have to have the bad to appreciate the good. Reed and Rakeem had a soul binding love that makes you yearn for it. This is a book that will heal your heart if you forgot about love. Run don't walk and get this hot read.

never fails me
This read is awesome she never fails me every time I read something for her I'm always satisfied this was one greatly well-written book, now with dealing with the young ones and I enjoyed it so much Reed and kin stories together I love the character and Kinzua is out awesome awesome person I just hope to get it together and learn love is love just was outstand

Great read
Very good 5 star read entertaining from beginning to end. This book will have you in your feeling. Couldn't believe that Rakeem did Reed like that especially in the same dorm but is a great love story. Mercy B has done it again with. Great 5star book.

Enjoyed the young love...I was very interested in where these characters would go based on their story in the other books. I was not disappointed and I love how Roc loves his sister!!! Good read

I genuinely loved the connection between Rakeem and Reed :) That's real love right there. I was a little pissed a Rakeem a bit in the story but in the end glad they got it together. Mercy B your writing style is amazing!!!
