I really could not get into this book at all. I love maths and I like a lot of children's books but this one just didn't work for me. I didn't find the examples of use of maths very funny and I didn't really enjoy the mathematical explanations. Maybe it works others but not me.
The Mean nd Vulgar Bits is a book in the Murderous Maths series. The book is not so much a story, but a guide to help the reader better understand math using humor. This book in the series teaches fractions and decimals. Fractions and decimals are used to tell us how big "bits" of things are. This book shwed the practical uses for fractions and decimals and showed me how to do adding, subtracting multiplying and dividing them.
Murdurous maths was a hularious book it had some vulgar bits but it made me laugh about math. The book understands me and knows that kids these days dont like math but I reccmmend it for anyone over nine years old. If teachers were ble to take the time to explain decimals and fractions like this them maybe more kids would understand.
This book was 160 pages long. It was long but still it took me accidentally four days to read. This book was about fractions and averages. It was also about decimals. There was even a chapter with only whole numbers, which was called Blinkin' Awkward Numbers. This book was making me a little bit sleepy and car sick, because I finished it in the car. I couldn't write the book report because there was no internet, and I don't know if Goodreads requires the internet. I wanted to rate it four stars, but it was so good I ended up rating it five stars. Just because it took four days to read it wasn't boring. Just maybe 0.1% boring. But let's just forget about percents. I would recommend this too mathematicians, the same with every Murderous Math book, and everybody.
