Well these are not separate books on goodreads, but these are all books I read in the early 2000's back when I started my degree in Education. Any one who is inspired to be a teacher should take the time to read Ms. Hayden's books. I was never much of a reader, but I can say I am so glad I picked up one of her books. It made me want to find and read them all. To feel and understand her experiences...
I have read most of Torey Hayden's book a few years ago, but missed this one, I was a child minder and her books helped me a lot, they are well worth reading, for any person working with young children.
The book I read was called Just Another Kid, and I didn't have the box set, just that book. An incredible true story of a special education teacher (Torey Hayden) and the 6 children and one aide she had in one school year. This was heart-wrenching and powerful stuff. Not only was Torey able to make a difference in the lives of 5 of the 6 children, she also made a great difference to the life of her aide. Absolutely wonderful.
