This book is about wanting revenge for not being remembered, mainly because of how much Teena wanted Clay back in high-school and really wants him now she's seen him as an adult. It is about lust and a spark that burns brightly with little fanning necessary. I'll give you a clue, it's title has it right. This book is red hot and delicious. Revenge is best served hot!
Treena Blackstone was invisible to Clayton Wagner back in high school, so it's infinitely gratifying to order him into costume at Sierra's Cowboy Theme Park. Clay can't believe he has to do this because he lost a bet, but it won't be a hardship to spend time with the sexy woman ordering him to strip. But somewhere along the way it becomes much more than just a game to them both.
RED HOT was a red hot shortie that is ideal for getting you in the mood for Valentine's Day. Treena and Clay's sexy flirting was the perfect buildup to their explosive sexcapade. I didn't like that Treena was so all over the place with her attitude, running hot and cold whenever she was around Clay. In fact, I kinda thought that her need to exact revenge for not noticing her in high school was pretty juvenile and silly. I can get wanting to make someone like that drool, but revenge? Eh... Well either way, RED HOT was a steamy and quick read for a cold winter's day.

Overall: a fun and interesting cross between a battle of wits and an emotional ping-pong game with some hot sexytimes.
I love me some dress-up. My first job was at a living history museum.
The metaphor of costumed characters--of putting on a different face--works well. Treena and Clay were two different people in high school: him the Jock who could have any girl he wanted, her the nigh-invisible girl in class. But as adults, Treena has no compunction over approaching Clay, but her girlish heart still stings from not being able to capture his attention in high school.
Treena's dichotomy between being bold enough to approach Clayton, her high-school crush and a long-seated desire for revenge against Clayton, the guy who completely ignored her in high school drives the plot, but I think it's Clay who steals the show as he shows that his maturity tends to win over his boyishness.

I loved this very quick read. The whole cowboy - saloon girl grabbed me from the beginning. I love the idea that Treena wants to get revenge on Clay. But it seems like that she wants to get revenge on someone who doesn't realize that they've done something wrong. Which actually makes the story that much more entertaining.
Again this is a quick read and one that I will definitely be referring to my friends.

Revenge Can Be Fun!
Short story but packed with humor and sexy scenes. Dress up hasn’t been so much fun for Treena. Now she gets to dress up Clayton Wagner who never acknowledged Treena in high school. She goes into this with revenge in mind. What she finds out that Clay is a good sport and is very interested in her. Also that revenge isn’t that important now that she and Clay have a connection. She can finally let go of the past and look to the future with Clay in it. Clay is charming and very sexy. He turns into a standup cowboy for the show and for Treena.

Treena is hell-bent on getting revenge on Clay for ignoring her back in the day. Now that’s he’s on her turf, she’s got the upper hand and determined to make him wish her hand was holding him.
Revenge is sweet, but redemption is even better and when Treena discovers she might be able to have both she softens her approach and finds unexpected love.
I really enjoyed the fun, sexy exchanges between the characters and the satisfying ending.

This story is sexy, but with an underlying sweet element that keeps you turning the pages til the end. You're torn between wanting the heroine to have her revenge and hoping she'll let bygones be bygones. A fun story that will delight you.
