En busca de libros cortitos para leer de mientras me tope con este.
Es una lectura bastante rápida, a pesar de tener pocas páginas y super sencilla, llendo directo al asunto sin muchos rodeos. He de decir que me hubiera gustado un poco más de desarrollo o es que estoy acostumbrada a ese tipo de historias largas y que necesito más texto. Sin embargo con pocas palabras se logró llegar a un final que funciona bien.
Todo esto de los clanes y personas cambiaformas me fascina y tal vez es por eso que me decepcionó que fuera tan corto. El poder saber más sobre todo ese mundo es algo que me hubiera gustado leer.
Obviamente que no puede faltar el romance, bastante intenso y caluroso pero con pequeños matices de dulzura.
Una historia corta, bonita y con la acción necesaria para su tamaño. Con un alfa millonario sexy y una chica enamorada.

Alpha's Heir was a fun,action packed sexy short story which I really liked. Casey and Orson were both likable characters in their own unique way.

Casey is a sweetheart that struggles with her weight but doesn't let that hold her back from going after a sexy guy like Orson. Orson is a sexy geeky billionaire just trying to do right by his family.

The werebears in this story wanna shuck tradition and live their own lives. They're tired of being pushed around and expected to live by medieval rules because of those rules their werebear popular is nearly decimated. Unfortunately, the current Alpha isn't willing to change and values fear tactics over brains.

This is very quick paced because it is a short story but you still get that romance and hot bits you normally would, just compacted. I think other werebear fans would love this because it is a bit of a twist from other stories. I'll be reading the next installment soon!

This is a very quick listen but it did not make me feel unsatisfied. There are many times where a story is so short where you just feel as though you are unfulfilled but this did not make me feel that way.

Orson is a bear shifter who is living his best life aside from the fact that his father wants him to marry for political reasons. Casey is trying to get her business off the ground and she is not looking for anybody however she thinks Orsen is kind of hot and she is willing to give him a shot.

When Casey and Orson get together it isn't an instant love thing which I am grateful for. There are plenty of times where a short story has the hero and the heroine falling in love with in the first day of meeting however even though this was quick and short they fall in love in a reasonable amount of time.

I am obsessed with Chloe and I cannot wait for her book Alpha's Mates. The only issue that I think I might have with this story is the fact that it is a mfm relationship and if an author doesn't nail it it just seems a bit trashy but I don't think that will happen. On to the next!

Libro corto listo a lo que venimos

Buongiorno Fenici, eccomi qui a recensire un piccolo libro, lo definirei quasi un racconto in realtà, di appena 41 pagine. L’ho letto in 3 ore circa, quindi immaginerete anche voi come sia la classica lettura da pomeriggio in relax.
Prima di iniziare la recensione vera e propria, ci tengo a dire che ho trovato moltissimi refusi all’interno di queste poche pagine, ciò ha reso la lettura ostica, smorzando il mio entusiasmo.
L’ambientazione fantastica non ci fa intuire né un tempo né uno spazio ben definito in realtà, quindi, giochiamo di immaginazione.
Ma ora veniamo al libro in sé…
Un mutaforma orso è costretto dal padre, capobranco, a sposare l’alpha di un altro clan, ma nessuno dei due desidera in realtà questo matrimonio.
Il protagonista della storia è Orson, un giovane alpha che non vuole stare agli ordini di nessuno. Questo scatenerà lotta e violenza tra padre e figlio che determinerà il leader indiscusso. Non solo è combattivo e tenace, il nostro mutaforma, è anche sexy, muscoloso e dannatamente potente. E se lui trovasse allettante una giovane fanciulla e le sue doti culinarie? Come potrebbe scampare al volere del padre?
Casey è una giovane barista umana, che lavora in un bar frequentato da creature soprannaturali, ha tutte le curve al posto giusto, ma un piccolissimo problema economico.
Lo sappiamo tutti qual è il modo migliore per conquistare un uomo. Prenderlo per la gola. E questa regola, diciamocelo, vale sia per il maschio umano che sovrannaturale. La parte animale di Orson, infatti, non riuscirà a resistere a tali prelibatezze, al punto da lasciarsi folgorare da Casey.
Se la scintilla dell’amore accende la miccia, la passione irrefrenabile fa scoppiare la bomba, dandoci momenti sensuali con descrizioni esplicite, non adatte a tutti.
Potrà un sexy orso proteggere la sua compagna e il suo intero branco da un fanatico alpha? Lo scoprirete solo leggendo il libro.

Holy smokes! What a rush. Tipton took me on quite the ride with this one. This short, fast paced story had a bit of everything. I got my daily dose of paranormal, memorable character that I could connect with, and scenes that sizzle. The author works her descriptions in throughout the story, developing the scene as she tells her incredible story. I was amazed at how complete & full of a story it was, considering the page length. I felt like I’d actually become part of the characters’ lives by the end.

I’m a fan of BBW as main characters, especially when the characters themselves are ok with who they are. There’s a sense of realism and connection between character and reader at this point in time. Tipton’s female lead definitely personifies this. Above and beyond that, I really liked Casey as a person. Getting to know her was a rare treat. She really stood out for me, even against a drool-worthy Alpha male like Orson. Seeing the conflicts that he was working through within himself while still working towards the greater good was something that I won’t soon forget. Together, these two set my kindle on fire.

Fun, funny, & sexy as sin. That’s definitely how I’d sum up this story. Tipton had me hooked from beginning to end with this short & sweet taste of the love of a paranormal Alpha.

Great Read

What I liked was that Orson showed interest in Casey right away but it would have been better to draw out the finally coming together of the two a little longer......keep us wondering ;-)

I loved this book so very much I want MORE.

I love shifter books so already we are on to the right path, then we add in hot alpha males… YES please pick me!!

Orson’s father has arranged for him to mate, but he doesn't want her and she doesn't want him. His father doesn't agree with this or Orson’s proclivity toward humans.

Casey has dreams of her own she wants to cook and make food for all but right now she can only do that part time. The other half of the time is spent bar tendering.

Orson and Casey have this connection and it’s not going away. He likes his women to have more meat on her bones and Casey fits the bill. Casey can’t seem to find a man who likes a girl with a little junk in the trunk until she meets Orson.

So to have his cake and eat it too….. You like that.. I thought it was cleaver.. He has to fight to be Alpha…

I loved, loved that narration of this book. It’s a great short one if you’re in to BBW you won’t regret the purchase. :)

Sexy fun read

Light storyline, but a fun read. Why do most shifter books all about sex and light on plot? Although I did like the characters, we could have had some more story besides how quick they could jump on each other.

Alpha's Heir begins a bit abruptly, like you're picking up in the midst of a story that's already begun, but I suppose that can be chalked up to necessity because of the short length of the book. Other than how intelligent he is and how obstinately and aggressively old fashioned his father is, we don't get to know much about our hero. We learn even less about the heroine - she's a down-her-luck (yet talented) caterer, serving part-time in a bar for supernatural/paranormal patrons. The author did a good job of establishing that the pair were attracted to each other (without the others knowledge) prior to them finally hooking up, but when the deed happens, it still feels a bit abrupt (once again, this can be attributed to the brevity of the book). All in all, the book wasn't bad and the narration was good - not a bad way to spend an hour and a half! 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

It wasn’t bad.

Ok to be honest the book wasn’t bad however I felt like it was missing parts. When I first started reading I went back to make sure I was reading book 1 and not part of a serial and missed a section.

Also the main character Casey I didn’t know how to take her. Is she an alpha or shy. The author described her as shy then did a 360 and jumped on Orson the first chance she got. He invites her to a party and she gets a dress and accepts without question and sees him half naked and practically jumps on him. Huh??


I had to laugh at a part where the author referenced sex with chicken. I get it she is a chef but It wasn’t sexy it was more funny.

Again good plot but could have been written better.

A.J. Tipton, Alphas Heir, Bear Shifter Billionaire Novella
I must say, this book was sizzling!! The book itself wasn’t very long, hence the novella, but it sure did pack a punch. Somehow it was full to the brim with shifter romance and steamy bedroom scenes that put 50 Shades to shame. There was of course with any shifter story some explosive alpha fighting and made the book even sexier. Great read for anyone 18+. Being that I, well, am not the size of a twig, I loved that Casey had meat on her bones and curves in all the right places. It really helped me appreciate the characters even more on a personal level. Keep up the good work A.J.

Quick series start

I think my favorite thing about this book is the strength of the female character. That it's also something the male is drawn to is even better. It's definitely steamy and the story is a good one. I've seen so many stories where the male's interactions with his father were handled differently (sorry, I don't like giving things away so this is vague!), but I loved the way it was done here. Okay, I give up! It's quick, good, funny and steamy, got it?

This was a little too simple & stereotypical for my taste.

I'm a huge shifter fan but there was just something missing in this story. It was like the food was more of a character than either of the H or h. There were no secondary characters from the bear pride, Cleo is from an opposing pride so she doesn't count. Didn't Orson have any friends?

A Fun Read

I enjoyed the characters in this story. Typical father telling son what to do, but still clinging to the old ways. Two people to notice each other finally take it to the next level. I plan on reading more from this author as the story moves at a good pace with hardly any repeating.

I liked that there was lots of heat in this tried and true romance plot and an unusual and unexpected ally in the effort to keep the lovers together.
Short and sweet but, with a dash of spice that makes the audio version not exactly suitable for work or car ride with the kiddies.

Orson was a bear of means but his father wanted him to marry his choice of bride. But Orson wanted the female that had captivated him in the bar. So he went after Casey in the most delicious way and soon had to fight his father for Alpha and the love of his life.

La premisa me pareció curiosa.. pero hubiera disfrutado más un desarrollo más lento de la historia y algo más coherente a las emociones y tiempos de los personajes.

It was funny, it showed a woman with determination, a goal, no matter your size, u can find love. It shows a man aka bear, even though he loved his father the right thing had to be done, and the woman he loved by his side. I really enjoyed this book. And look forward to reading more like it.

Very well done

I liked this book a lot, and it was a treat to have two stories instead of one. I am a little confused how Casey knew what to do at the end though since she is human and doesn't have a lot of knowledge of shifter culture.
