SNOW! brought chaos to the UK within days. THAW! revealed the true disaster. And FLOOD! washed away any doubt.

Andrew Brady fought desperately for survival when the snowstorm from hell hit the UK. Millions died & numberless others became displaced refugees. The UK became a NO-GO area awash with the detritus of civilization & rotting flesh.

But out of this hell grew a menace more threatening than mere weather. A dark force was growing under the fetid waters following the SNOW!

A menace so terrible - that it threatens to engulf the entire world.

Enjoyable, but...

I have thoroughly enjoyed the preceding three books in the series and I was looking forward to this final installment as I'm a bit of a zombie lover! However, the further I got into the book I found that although I wanted to see what happened next to our main groups of survivors I was left disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book but I was left wanting. Wanting Brady to meet up with Bryan perhaps to try and get to 'The Rook' and possibly letting them kill her and then seeing how good her lieutenants were without her. I just felt that it all got a little bit too 'out there'. The first three books were believable especially with the weather we had this year! (Hehe) and the start of the zombie 'invasion' made you sit up and think 'do you know what this could happen' but then I think we let Brady and Bryan go to waste. That is the only reason I gave you 4 and not 5 stars. I am now going to read some of Ryan's other works, so until I write my next reviewe I bid you adieu!

Worth reading

Enjoyed the series on the whole but the constant use of 'dame' Ann was a bit grating. Just call her Ann, we know she's a dame. Bit of an abrupt ending in book four. But the whole book makes you realise what a knife edge we all live on
