A captured soldier facing certain death…

A queen battling against an unrelenting enemy…

Egan Crane only has one thing on his mind…escaping from prison before he’s put to death. But no one has ever escaped the impenetrable walls of The Keep before. But with the clock ticking and a new promise of revenge on the Queen and her pet Seer, Egan will have to make alliances with enemies to even have a slim chance and he doesn’t play well with others. Queen Neala, is losing ground in the war with the Emperor, but her biggest challenge is the one she didn’t plan on – a very powerful child. I have been enjoying this series. The characters are developed and there are plot twists to keep up the interest. I want the latest book, "Land of Nescien", which was supposed to be out March of 2016, but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'll keep looking for it.

Left wanting more

The characters were well described and easy to follow. The storyline was reciting and human. I was disappointed when the book ended. I’d recommend to readers who enjoy a good series!

Queen Neala attempts to rally her people against a coming invasion by a powerful emperor. She meets various allies and enemies along the way. Can she trust anyone in court, especially the few she calls friends? This story felt rushed and needs another round of proofreading for typos.

The Fire Kael

This was ok and read quickly. Not as much action as I would like but it still kept me entertained.
