Juliet has worked hard all of her life and everything she has, she earned herself. After the loss of her mother, her world is turned upside down as she finally meets her father. A man, who until recently was just an abstract idea to her. Juliet will have to learn how to operate in a world she knows nothing about and find herself again.
I couldn't even make it through 1/4 of this book. Talk about stereotypes! Servants=slaves. Snooty English characters (and since when are Dukes part of royalty and not the aristocracy). I couldn't take it anymore when the main character started on the "in America we don't yell at people". Also, the main character was getting looked down on for wearing jeans and converse..uh..you do know it is England is a modern country, don't you. If you think modern day England is like living in Downton Abbey, this book may be for you. Otherwise, don't read.
