Even when love seems unbreakable, it can still be battered, distorted—damaged beyond repair.

There’s only one thing Frankie yearns for these days, and that’s to share the gift that makes Cain so extraordinary. But no matter how inferior she feels, she’s determined to help the man she loves with his secret rescues, hoping that one day she will access a higher power of her own.

The one thing she knows for sure is that nothing will ever come between her and Cain again.

Then a stranger arrives in their midst, disrupting the solid loyalties in Cain’s group. This man has the very thing Frankie needs to unlock her powers, but the price is higher than she could have dreamed.

Can Frankie and Cain’s love survive the fallout?

What a great second book in the Incorruptible series. Frankie was slightly repetitive at the beginning with her doubts about her abilities and Cain, but other than that this story definitely had me hooked. Leon was a great character to introduce, causing all sorts of problems as well as being the catalyst for change, I didn't like him at all though which is to be expected. I can't wait to read the final book and see what happens.

I enjoyed this book more than the first, I think because I knew more of what was going on. There is still intrigue and mystery as they work to figure out what they are seeing, but it’s a different kind of thrill in this book. I also really like Cain and Frankie and the fact that their relationship feels genuine.

O.M.G...... I LOVE FALLOUT

Another brilliantly written book by S.D Wasley.

In this story, which follows on from Downfall, Frankie is still unsure of her place within the group that meets under Gaunt House, she feels more of an outsider and is always questioning her reasoning for being there. When a new member joins the group Frankie shows a little jealousy because of the connection the new member has with Cain.

When Owen's friend arrives from Quebec he seems very interested in Frankie and she finds this somewhat frightening and exciting at the same time, especially when he confirms what she has been wishing for all along. Along with Lyon comes unrest within the group and let me tell you I was at the biting my knuckle stage at some points of Lyon's visit.

It is so far, as a whole group that the rescues from impending death, the time that the group utilise their gifts but will the gifts still work if there is deep unrest. What are the noises that Frankie keeps hearing in one of the chambers under Gaunt House, and what of her very weird yet vivid dreams, do they have some meaning.

I urge you to go download downfall and Fallout and read them in that order, you will not be disappointed as they are awesome reads and you will not have too long to wait for book 3 (June 16:-)).

I did cry in a couple of places especially when Lyon and Frankie, well you read the book see how it makes you feel.

Fallout starts where Downfall left off. You really need to read Downfall first so you have a complete understanding of what is happening with these characters. SD does a little re-capping but not enough and you don’t want to miss any of this trilogy.

The story continues with Cain and his group trying to save lives with the help of Frankie. They add a new member to the team and a stranger from Quebec, Leon, joins them. Tension is immediately felt within the group and I just new things weren’t going to go well.

Frankie and Cain’s relationship continues to grow and there were a few times I really wanted to smack them both in the head. Their insecurities with each other were driving me crazy. Darn those kids! We also learn a great deal more about Cain’s past and those scenes with Frankie ended up being some of my favorites. Even Frankie goes through a few changes in this book.

SD threw in a few twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout the book. Frankie’s Mom visits and let me tell you, it was an eye opener!

I’m really enjoying this series and would highly recommend you read it. Book 3 is coming in June and I honestly can’t wait to find out how this story will end!

I am a massive fan of S.D. Wasley's work and have read and loved all her books to date. Fallout did not disappoint!

I love the way the story, characters and plots developed in this book. A fast paced, easy read with a really catchy story. There were a few twists and turns which made the story really come together. I can't wait to read what happens next with Cain, Frankie and the rest of the group.

This book follows on closely behind book 1 in the series, Downfall, so I suggest you read that first.

There's nothing greater than reading a kickass sequel. I absolutely loved Downfall, but Fallout really took this story to the next level. All the characters were well established from book one, and this story didn't waste any time getting into the action.

The characters drew me straight back into their lives, and with the arrival of Leon there was plenty of tension too. The plot moved along at a speedy pace, it definitely has the un-put-down-able factor!

As always, SD Wasley's writing is seamless, making this book an easy five stars!

The second book is even better then the first. The story picks up where the first left off. I read the whole book in a 5 and 1/2 hour binder. Frankie's story is far from over. The introduction of a outsider and the corruption he brings inside the group threaten to tear the very fabric of the group apart. This stranger also stirs something in Frankie that she can't explain. Is Frankie more then she thinks? It will captivate you. Can't wait to read the next in the series. If you liked Downfall, Fallout is a must read.

The second book in SD Wasley's 'The Incorruptibles' trilogy is impossible to put down. It answers the questions left lingering after 'Downfall', and leaves you with a new set of intriguing ponderings.

Watch as Frankie's relationship with Cain is challenged as tested as their personal dynamics are tested along with the entire group. New relationships are formed, new understandings are made, and new secrets are uncovered. But will they work out why it is they have been blessed with their gifts?

I am very much looking forward to the final instalment.

OMG - More twist and turns in S.D.'s second installment. I am in love with Cain and Frankie and all the chaos that surrounds them. Cannot wait for book 3.
