As a traveling sanctuary, New Vega exists beyond Alliance regulations, where the Adaros' word is law. The three Krytos brothers are strong, capable leaders who rule their world together, but nothing could have prepared them for the little female elite who would come to rule their hearts.Destiny may have led her straight into the arms of the Krytos who want her as their mate, but Mya fears she might not be a match for the three powerful males. When a threat turns the floating pleasure palace into a dangerous prison, everything they love is at risk. Will Mya find the courage to fight by the Adaro brothers side, or will her uncertainty lead to the downfall of an empire?

The first word that comes to my mind is: romance This story is definitely a love story. I am not sure it belongs to the erotic category though.

I think the main reason is the heroine’s personality.

She is a sweet, innocent, lovable, kind girl who was protected all her life. She has zero sexiness in her or I should say, she has no idea what sex is about.

However, the males exude sex appeal, alpha male attitude. They made me think of the beasts and the beauty. Since they are shifters, it makes sense of course but in this story, I felt it tenfold as normal.

I particularly appreciated the distinct love stories between each male with the heroine. It was not one man with three dicks. They were all different and I liked it. The author totally translated into words the “big bad grumpy boys falling hard in love”

So the story was refreshing and lovely because of the characters.

Yes, you will find sex but in a different way we are used with multiple men and one woman. It was not crazy sex, but romantic sex.

So, generally, I am not that fond of such story. I find them a bit too YA for my taste. Virgins ravished by alpha men, I read them by hundred when I was a teen.

So why did I liked this one then? Right book at the right time, most probably. But a little bit more than that.

It is well written. The plot is smooth. It is a sci-fi and I have a soft spot for this genre. It was never over the top…. and at the end of the day, it was just lovely. I also appreciated the credibility and fluidity of the story.

I thought the villain was not necessary in this story but it added this link needed to be part of the 3013 series. I would have loved more brotherly conflict since it was a big deal and was left a bit dry. The author also missed some humor opportunities with the clothes which would have added a nice touch. I was also hoping a bit more shifter action and a bit more “choice” about mating shifters beforehand from the heroine.

But other than that, it is truly a refreshing menage to read that I recommend :)

**Book gifted by the Author in exchange for a honest review**

My first 5 star rating for the New Year!

Oh yeah cant get more honest than this, Loved it!. I have read every book in this series! The series itself amazing, Genesis is just a great add, Laurie Roma does it again with her own special flair.

Always surrounded by people whether she wants to or not, Mya is as close to royalty as one can get. Mya feels she needs a change and a good thing two out of three of her parents are willing to listen. With permission Mya if off to New Vega and new adventures.

The Adaro brothers are law unto themselves...well everyone else as well on New Vega. The ride the line of rules as far as the alliance and space federation. Just call it blurry and it will suit. New Vega is a floating dream come true not only for the brothers but for a lot of its inhabitants. They have a pact between all three of them and its to share one mate. Which doesn’t seem like either of them are in a rush for it to happen.

I loved the cute sass of Mya innocent yet wanting but not sure what she it is she wants. It was fun watching her grow. The male all distinct personalities that makes them brothers but also makes them individual. A few times I wanted to strange all four of them. (smiles). Each book is its own story, mostly stand alones but reading prior ones will give you so much more of a better read. Its fun, hot, sexy made me laugh and gasps, even wanted to help get the bad guys. Again Laurie did a wonderful job in bringing the story and characters to life. (read it in one sitting, just saying)

Mya has been protected her whole life, almost to the point of being suffocated. She convinces her parents to let her open a new store on New Vega. They reluctantly agree, but only if she takes her security detail. Ryland, Mikal and their mate, Pia, are more life family then Mya's personal guards, so she agrees. Arriving on New Vega, Mya is so excited to be on her own. All she can think about is she's finally able to spread her wings and be free to do what she wants. That is until she meets the three Alpha Krytos brothers that own New Vega.

Although all three Krytos are considered the Alphas of their pack on New Vega, Maddox is considered the leader. Tavius is the charming diplomat, and Daimon is the quiet one who gets things done. The brothers are sexy as hell. They work hard and have no time to think about finding a mate......that is until they lay eyes on Mya, the beautiful human. They will stop at nothing to keep her safe, but they almost lose her when evil arrives on New Vega.

This is the first book by Laurie Roma that I've read. I have to say I'm impressed. Since 3013: Genesis is the 11th book in the series, I thought I might not be able to follow the story. So, not the case. Ms. Roma gives you enough history about the characters you have no problem following the story. I was so intrigued with the different types of species that I'm going to start reading books 1 - 10. If all her alpha men are as sexy as the Krytos brothers, I'm in for a lot of hot reads. I have a feeling Jax's story was a super hot read :)

Every once in a while you get hooked on a series that just won't let your mind go. 3013 is one of those series. The books can be read alone but it is advised to read them not only to get a better grip on the world you step into but to watch the characters evolved. The heroine (Maya) has grown within this series and it has been a delight to read. A small female from a powerhouse chocked full of Alpha males she handles herself well. This books shows that there are all kinds of strength even in the understated. But what can you expect when she is paired with three very individual Alpha Males. The only question I have for this series is when can we kill the villain and can we make it very painful???? * Personal Note* - I am one of the lucky people to be apart of Ms. Roma's Renegades. This means I get the book for free for an honest review. I buy the books after reading them because I want my support of this author to help her continued success in writing. If you have not read any of this series (authored by several talented women) give it a try and see what has become of Earth as we have known it. It is a fun ride.

Love This Series

This was a great read, although i would of thought that if you were going to put a heroine against 3 badass, hot looking alpha males and i assumed that the heroine will be as well like Reva or Kahla. But no it wasnt to be. Still it was a good read just wished the heroine was more strong and kickass in her character like her men probably would of made it a much better read. But i still love this series and hope that Reva or Kahla will get a book of their own.

Another great book in this series 5 stars for Laurie Roma!

This series is a group of books written by several great writer. They combine their efforts by writing a book each time in line with one and another. No matter which other is writing the book you usually find it a great read.

The plot and characters of this story keep the reader engaged so you don't put the book down until the end. The plot line lines are continuous so intertwine throughout the stories to make them blend well.

Pick up 3013 Series today and read you'll love it I know I do.

She wants to break free and live her life. She had a planned and finally goes to New Vega where she meets the three men that became her mates. I enjoyed the story soooooo much! Absolutely loved reading this one. A great addition to the series. Although this is a standalone book I personally would recommend they are read in order. If you enjoy reading futuristic sci-fi romance with a twist then you will love this series. I can't wait to read the next one in this series.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! I am always waiting with bated breath for the next book.... Great job once again. What an exciting story... I really enjoy how the authors show the women both strong but also vulnerable. The men are both fierce and loving in care of their mates.

What a rush

Reading these out of order but what a ride!!! Love how Mya loves her family but is smothered by them. The plot is complex but you cannot skip a word as so much is going on. Not that you want to skip a word. I want to read it all over again.

This author can not pick a single POV. I don't recommend this to people that struggle to read well structured books (which this is not). Classic insta love, Alpha male(s)/innocent female story. If that's your cup of tea, get after it, but it's not mine.

DNF for me.

33% in and the entire story has been the logistics of moving to New Vega. Where's the romance? Where's on iota of interesting plot?

Did I read the same book as everyone? Oh my gosh... I almost didn't finish it. I've liked a lot the previous books. This was a miss for me. I didn't think there was chemistry between the characters. Also , I could NOT accept or relate to lots of things going on, like the characters from previous books turned glorified security guards and or fashion advisors-__- absolutely ridiculous to me. Made me lose respect for the guys hat I had admired so much once upon a time . Pia and her mates were like puppies behind Mya. Have some self respect , people (Pia, husbands, etc). I also highly doubt that an alien warrior will care if his/her clothes are the latest fashion when they're about to go into battle. Things like this make the story kind of dumb in a way that it can't recover for me.

If I could have given it half a star I would have.

That being said, I did enjoy the previous books and I highly recommend them. I just couldn't get into this one.

Finally I get the Adaro brothers story... been waiting for that one to be told, and it did not disappoint. All three brothers offer something different, but equally appealing. All are crazy protective. I like that she was equally as protective of them and threw herself in there during the fight scene to help out. I think the conversion was a little too easy though, especially when it was stated earlier on that their kind rarely converted their human mates because it was too dangerous and unpredictable. I liked Tavius the best with his flowers and sweetness, but Daimons quietness and Maddoxs brusque, but well meaning, behaviour are all equally compelling. I love this series. At first i wasn't convinced that having different authors writing each instalment would work but so far the series has not suffered any holes in the background data and the story is cohesive and engaging regardless of who is writing that particular instalment. Looking forward to more to come.

It's taken a while to get around to giving this one a review. Sorry. I absolutely adore romantic sci-fi.
Mya Spartan, Jax's young sister finally gets her wings and decides to open a clothing shop on New Vega. She takes along her best friends: security guards: Ryland and Mikal and their mate Pia, Mya's best friend. Of course Mya does NOT let Jax know that she has escaped the family and is off to New Vega. He'd have a heart attack just after dragging her back home and locking her up.
Mya is so pleased to be on her own with her friends and soon catches the eye of a trio of alpha shifters, The Krytos brothers: Maddox, Tavius and Daimon. There is some roughhousing and fights in a bar that is considered safe territory for all. The evil doers are soon dispatched and just in time as Jax has arrived. He along with his mate and Archer make sure that Mya will be well taken care of. A lovely story if you love sci-fi and menages as I do. Enjoy it!

I love this series and Genesis was another fun instalment. I think what keeps it fresh for me is the huge range of characters/species we get to read about and new worlds to explore. Because this is book 11 in the series in a way it felt like visiting old friends with the secondary characters. I loved Mya and enjoyed the chemistry between her and Maddox, Tavius and Daimon. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.

I enjoyed the relationships the brothers developed with Mya. The author showed four different personalities working at becoming one intricate unit, a challenge in and of itself, and she did it without angst or massive complications. The characters were fully developed with their own amusing quirks, the storyline was solid, and the romance..sweet and sexy with a dash of spice!

Out of this World

Lucked out when I found this storyline with the help of all of the different authors having common theme. Love the honor, an loyalty each alien species have as they gather together to fight the evils of the Universe. Looking forward to next book in this storyline.

Another successful story

This series is wonderful. Each book can be read by itself but much better in order as the characters do cross over into other books. The fact that several different authors are writing this series just makes it that much better.

Ok

Meh. The story was less intense then others in the series but what do you expect with a 18-20 year old virgin who mates three men scared of making her scared.

Not my favorite but it was ok.

The whole series

Is worth it. This one's not my favorite, but even this pampered miss gets her hero panties on in the end and makes a difference at risk of her own life. Wish I could immediately buy the next one.
