Reapers

Rate this book
Demons are all around us but only a few people are able to actually see them. However, everyone can hear their vile, horrible and often obscene suggestions clearly in their minds, if only from time-to-time, willing all to do their bidding and commit evil acts both to themselves and to others. They are the reapers who will not stop until they have taken every last one of us, in their relentless quest to possess as many human souls as they can...

First of all this contains one or two small spoilers, nothing major and secondly I won this through a giveaway. I was immediately drew in by the cover art and title. The premise of the story is really good, I like the idea of collecting souls to gain rank. I feel that the way it was written could let readers easily become lost. In a single chapter you can switch to many different characters (about one per paragraph) without any explanation. I feel that if the author had maybe added more chapters or titles to let you know of the character switches it would have been an easier read. I read over half in one day but found myself having to slow back down and catch up to the characters. The only part of the book that I truly didnt like was the part where the author was saying that all things in a church were actually pointing to satan worship, this bothered me because of personal beliefs. I would love to read more by this author I just hope in further works that explanations can be used or titles/timelines to let the reader know of character and time changes.

The cover artwork and description of content drew my interest in this book.Short in length,it flowed along nicely to the finish, which is one that I am not used to reading in books that I have read.I am still mulling over it,so maybe the author achieved his purpose, hence the three stars. This was a free book as a win in the Goodreads Firstread Contest.

I started this book hoping that it would get better. Almost six full chapters of people killing themselves or others because of people talking to them and giving them instructions and deliberately trying to push buttons. The style of writing was not always smooth and the content was delivered in a curt manner.
I did win this book on good reads giveaway.
