Sweet, sweet book, made me smile the whole way through. So many quotes from the greats, many references to the Bible, and descriptions on each different kind of kiss, (eg affectionate, reverent, romantic), and the various factors that may be involved, such as the occasion, experience level, size and colour of the woman’s lips, and the duration (there is a clear and stern command on how long is TOO long for a kiss!!!). It’s delightfully Edwardian. There’s a wholesome fascination for kissing and it’s very silly to listen to. I adore the detailed analysis and instruction, it’s like listening to a deadpan comedy. Giggled at times when terms like “hugger and huggee” were used, not in jest, but indeed very earnestly.
