I am reading this series backwards, but that's okay, everything stands just fine out of order. When I learned that we have a Daddy/little relationship in the series, I set aside every other book, and went and got this one. I love reading this dynamic, as each dynamic is so unique on when and how the Daddy/little define their relationship

As with most in this series, I am way more interested in the relationship than the actual crimes being investigated. Jordan and Amy were so alive, so interesting, that they captured me from the beginning. For Jordan to take his time, and Amy to make her discoveries, they weren't boring, and they paced the story so well

Having all his buddies already paired up and giving him heck and advice for screwing things up, when he was, that was awesome. For Amy to have her support network to ask questions about lifestyle questions, as well as getting emotional support, just as awesome

These two clicked for me right away, and the time and effort they both devoted to each other, amde me love them all the more!

First I want to thank the author and Booksprouts for a copy to read and give my honest opinion. This was my FIRST.... Dom/little book. I’d seen a glimpse of books like this here and there but had never had a chance to read a full one based on it. This was not really my thing but it was eye opening and very mild little play so enjoyable. This book also describes one of the perfect meanings of being a submissive that I have ever seen. Redefined is an apt title since this book will show you who you are.

What did I like? I really liked that Amy got her book after she gave Darcy so much angst about Malcolm being a Dom. Amy being a little shows why she didn’t accept Darcy being a pain lover, and Malcolm for giving Darcy what she needs. Jordan was just yummy. I loved how confused Amy was at first but then how perfectly everything clicked into play. The scenarios and little play was minor which also helped the book transition into a five star read.

Would I buy or recommend? There is nothing over the top here as far as Dom/little play. It’s a great introduction book into what is a tiny trope, but you can read more about it online. I’ve bought my own copy for my shelf and I plan on doing a reread when I have all the books. This is an amazing writer who really spans the trope for this series. If you love Dom/sub books then this is a great one to start with or just follow the whole series.

Thoughts for the author? I just love this series. I devour every book you send me and I’m buying up the series like crazy. Five huge stars of entertainment. I laugh, and just enjoy myself every time I read one of your stories. They are incredible.

RE/DEFINED is the fifth book in the Doms of the FBI series. The novels in the Doms of the FBI series stand alone, though they do contain an overarching mystery element. Re/Defined is a complex, thoughtful love story mixed with danger, crime, and suspense.

I’m going to split this review into two parts – the suspense and the romance – though they are intertwined

The FBI/detective story was well thought out and I loved how the reader was allowed to see both sides of the story as it played out. Knowing what (but not knowing everything) that the bad guys were doing and, of course, our heroes was a lot of fun and interesting. There was a lot of edge-of-seat action to keep my heart beating wildly when the steam from the romance wasn’t doing the same.

Amy’s path to discovering her little side was perfectly written. I know she was frustrated at times, but that is true to life! I loved that Jordan wanted to be her friend first. IMHO, the best lovers are also friends. I loved his patience and guidance. Their power exchange grew naturally.

This was a great book! I look forward to more glimpses of this sweet and powerful couple in future books in the series.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.

Brian saw the flyer on his car which he balled up and through away. Miguel knew he needed competent men.which Miguel often needed. Jordon’s brain short circuited when Amy the bride to be sister showed up. Even though she was older she showed a sign of naïveté. Amy knew she was submissive but being around the Doms made it seem more so. She thought about Jordon but he was totally out of her league. Jordon introduced Amy to his sister Jamie Who was pissed as Jordon tried to get her to listen to him. Jamie made a comment about a Daddy Dom but Amy has not picked up on it. Jamie realized that Amy had not idea about Jordon being a Dom. Jordon found out that Amy was looking for a Dom. He wanted to be that Dom but she had no idea about his proclivity. Amy decided she wanted more of a Dom and less than a friend who was willing to train her she wanted someone who would take care of her. Everytime he went to kiss her he pulled away at the last minute. Finally he told her that he was a Daddy Dom and wanted her to call him Daddy. After reading and research she realized she was probably a little. Someone was afterAmy and wanted her dead in fact, they blew up her house. Miguel knew he had to take care of the Amy and Jordon problem. Twists, turns, attempted murder and murder makes this book a fascinating read.

Our heroine doesn't know it, but she is submissive and a little. Our hero has figured this out and is trying to break it to her gently when she ends up the target of a killer. Fun and games may have to wait.

This is book four in the series. It is written as a standalone, with only minor references to previous characters.

This is first and foremost a romance story focused on age play, but with some suspense and intrigue thrown into the mix.

The story is well written and easy to read. The characters are well developed with solid backgrounds and they fit each other perfectly. It takes them a while to figure this all out, of course, but the chemistry between them is amazing. The intrigue in the story added another element which kicked things up a notch and may the whole thing fly by. Overall, I found the story to be very enjoyable and I look forward to reading more in the series.

Her Daddy

Jordan Monaghan had been circling Amy Markevich for a year, developing a rapport and friendship, when he heard that Malcolm had been introducing her to different Doms. Amy hadn't clickec with any of them and was always acutely aware of Jordan whenever he was around but he was too young and good looking for her. After studying Amy for a year Jordan realizes that her zest for life, joy in small things and innocent nature, Amy was a submissive and a "little" at heart. Which suits him perfectly because he's a Daddy Dom. He introduces her to the Daddy/little dynamic in addition to BDSM and it just clicks. Unfortunately Amy stumbles, literally, into trouble and becomes part of an ongoing investigation that Jordan is involved with. Keeping her safe becomes a challenge that turns perilous quickly. Close calls and injuries abound for both Amy and Jordan as well as a few shocking revelations.

I have become a huge fan of Michele Zurlo! Both her Doms of the FBI and her SAFE Securities series have all been solid reads. But I think Jordon and Amy are my favorite couple in the FBI series. Jordan Monaghan has been intrigued and attracted to Amy Markevich for a year developing a close friendship. When he hears her brother-in-law has been introducing her to doms, he knows why. Although he may be younger than her, he is clearly more experienced and recognizes her submissive little and knows she's perfect for his Daddy dominate self. I often get a little squeamish when reading Daddy/little books. They tend to be way to Daddy/daughter and frankly creep me a bit. This book is not at all like that with Jordon and Amy's kink. He wants to protect and nurture her. Amy wants that from him. The power exchange was awesome to see. Great book, great read!

A slow burn romance, this showcases the relationship between Jordan and Amy as their friendship develops. There is a crime/suspense story intertwined with the romance which gives it an added thrill. Amy is trying to find herself a Dom but doesn’t really know what she is searching for. Unbeknownst to each other Jordan and Amy have harboured affection for each other but Jordan is hesitant to push Amy into his desired Daddy/little dynamic which leads to some mixed signals and frustration on her part. Whilst this dynamic is not for me personally I thought Michele did a great job of explaining what it meant in way that makes it totally relatable and understandable. Hot, but sweet with some suspense this was an enjoyable read.

This is book 4 of the Doms of the FBI. You do not need to read the first books to understand what is going on. Jordan is a daddy dom and he thinks Amy is his little. He decides to be friends first and then let her know his kink. Amy is a little, but she didn't know. She thought she colored or watched children's movies because it helped her relax. Jordan helps her understand who she is. And, of course, there is the ongoing plot of finding who is plotting against the FBI agents. I enjoyed this book and Amy is adorable. This is book 4 of the series of "Dom's of the FBI." This is the second book I've read of Ms. Zurlo. Jordan had been watching Amy for a year and after studying her innocence in small things and her zest for life Amy was a "little" submissive. He is so happy about finding that out because he is a "Daddy Dom." Amy happens to witness trouble that puts her in danger and she and Jordan go on the run from a terrorist organization. The the dynamics between Jordan and Amy. There relationship is hot, steamy and makes this an amazing to from start to finish. Highly recommend this series. This is book four of the Doms of the FBI series and it is freaking awesome!!!! I absolutely loved the storyline and the characters from previous books. Amy and Jordan were wonderful and I loved the way he took it slow getting to know her and making sure she was truly a Little. A lot of times books are like oh you're a Little and you're mine and while there is nothing wrong with that this was a refreshing change of pace. I definitely recommend this book,this series,and this author

Re/Defined does a good job of explaining the Daddy Dom kink with Amy as a Little. She is an independent woman, who escapes into coloring books as children's movies as a form of relaxation. She doesn't need a Daddy to control her life, just someone she trusts to be her strength when she needs him. I think Jordan was too much in his own head sometimes and over planned. The overall story of a criminal cult was a little confusing, but the suspense added to the steamy romance.

I real don’t know what can I say, this series is totally sexy, hot and completely awesome.
The steam that’s rolling off of it almost set the smoke detectors off...
I really did enjoy meeting Amy and Jordan, their chemistry will set your devices on fire.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a little Daddy role play.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy. With Amy and Jordan story. Jordan is a daddy Dom, and he has watched Amy from a distance and believe she is perfect for him, he is teaching her the way daddy likes it.

Thrilling and Steamy

This series keeps getting better and better. Jordan and Amy had strong chemistry and Jordan had been attracted to her for over a year. Jordan is a Dom of a different kind but just as alpha as his team mates. The drama and suspense surrounding The Eye and its followers continues in this book and more answers are revealed. Can’t wait for the next book and more secrets to be revealed.

Amy had been looking for a dom, but she wasn't sure what she wanted. In comes Jordan who works with her brother in law at the FBI. Amy and Jordan are learning their way through their new relationship, when at her sisters wedding she trips over a body. This story winds through their dom/little relationship while trying to find out who is trying to kill Amy. This is a very gripping, steamy story that I could not put down. Well written and character development was great, especially with interaction with previous books characters.

I think Jordan and Amy are my favourite couple so far. Amy is thoroughly engaging, tough as nails when she has to be - able to fight like a Mama bear for her cubs. Jordan is brave , strong and stupendously sexy. They are a match made in literary heaven. A great story, in depth with plenty of steam, action and drama, complimented by the softly evolving relationship between Jordan and Amy.

Book four in the "Doms of the FBI" series centers around Amy and Jordan. Amy believes that someone as young and hot as Jordan wouldn't be interested in her. Even though she's older, Jordan senses the little in Amy. I loved these two together. Jordan was the perfect Daddy Dom for Amy. Oh, the drama/suspense side of the story-line was entertaining also.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this author as this is the first of her books that I have read. I was pleasantly surprised. The characters were well developed, the plot was nuanced and action packed.and there was an intense and love filled relationship between two strong and capable characters. This one grew on me…

I wasn’t so sure about the MC’s together at the beginning of the book, but they grew on me over time. Jordan’s Daddy dom nature, and Amy’s growing sense of herself as a little really gels well during the story. Lots of twists and turns here, with unexpected plot moves, and danger for both MC’s. Well written, great chemistry, and a solid developing relationship between two very different people make this a pleasure to read.

I found this is was an easy to read and enjoyable addition to the series. I am not really understanding of the Daddy/little kink relationships. But the storyline in this book was interesting to see how this would come together for Amy and Jordan. Their relationship was steamy and interesting even though it isn't my thing. The author did a wonderful job showing us how beautiful the dynamic can be between a Daddy Dom and his little, not to mention the various explaining the various degrees that can be found in that dynamic.

The romance between Amy and Jordan was kind of sweet, in spite of the hot scenes. And believe me, they could get just as hot as all of the other couples. *fanning face*
