You have Andre and Malin who have been best friends since they were 16...they are now in their 30's. Malin is married and Andre is single. Malin becomes the surrogate for Andre without discussing it with her husband. If course, when he finds out he is furious and he has a right to be. I am still trying to understand how a woman with common sense would make a decision like that without discussing it with her husband. There were times I was so frustrated with Malin she and her husband did not love each other but she stayed in the marriage which made no sense. Andre and Malin had good chemistry. Even though there were times I couldn't believe the way Malin thought I still recommend this book.
The only problem I had with this book was that the heroine was married. I do not have a problem with her being a surrogate to her best friend (Andre), however she never discussed this with her husband. Grant it the husband was a jerk and mentally abusive to Malin (heroine), but since Malin continued to try and make her marriage work she should have been upfront with him about this, which based on his abusive and jeaslous behavior he would have never agreed anyway.
Andre was a great friend to Malin; even with her deciding to try and work things out with a husband that didn't deserve her. I was glad to see a man wiho didn't let money or others determine who he had as a friend.
This is the 1st book I read by Alison Tucker. This book had my interest until I read how Malin lets Derek talk to her & the way she defends him to Andre. I was done with it after that, this book wasn't for me.

This was a good read. I think that it was rushed near the end. I believe that the author should ended the book after th e baby was born. Just too short.
Toss Up Cute, sweet, predictable BWWM read. Definitely a nice happily ever after story that doesn't disappoint. Just know you've read this story before.
