Author Herbert Burkholz is best known for his "Sensitives" trilogy -- about a mind-reading troupe of intelligence operatives trained by the CIA -- and his literary novels Sister Bear, Spanish Soldier, and Writer-in-Residence.
A native New Yorker, Burkholz has lived in Spain, Italy, Greece, and Mexico. He has been a visiting lecturer at Yale University and Writer-in-Residence at the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
