This was a nice end to the series, although I kinda hope there might be a spin-off or something because there totally could be!

My one complaint was that Zack was kinda a d-bag through most of the story and I never got a real sense of why, or more importantly, that he really changed before the end of the story. His emotions and actions were just back and forth nonstop.

Korey, however, was an absolute sweetie and through most of the story I kept thinking he could do better haha

I look forward to more from this author!

I enjoyed this last installment in the Fated Date Agency series. The plot was great and most of the characters. My main issue was with Zack. I liked him until the moment he found his mate, from there on, he was an ass. I wanted Korey to leave him and find someone else ;-)

I have truly loved this series. Such full and rich characters in such diverse stories. I'm most happy for Praya. I may mourn the end but I know we will get many more great stories. This is why Abraham Steele is one of my most favorite modern writers.

While I enjoyed how things played out overall, I just couldn't get into this couple. I felt the alpha was not very nice especially after searching for so long for his omega. I just didn't care for the character.

To the Ends of the Earth

I absolutely love the Fated Date Series. To me, it's the perfect way to end, to what I hope is only the first phase of the Agency.

This is Zack and Korey's story. Praya has closed the Agency and retired to Guam. She had matched every Alpha and Omega that she had samples for. Zack has just turned 18 and has dreamed of the time he would meet his Omega. But much to his dismay, when he writes to the Agency, he gets told that the Agency has closed. Zack won't except that and tracks down Praya. He won't leave her alone until she explains her process so that he can find his mate. Zack takes a few years going through Canada and part of South America with no luck but has collected alot of samples.
In the airport, on his first trip to Canada, he sees a beautiful man with blue hair standing on the other side of a glass partition. He feels a very strong pull towards him and when their eyes meet there is a definite attraction. Zack shakes it off to start his journey.
After a few years, his cousin talks him into coming home to take a break and meet his new niece. Zack is so exhausted so he agrees. One night, his cousin wants to take him out to a club. It turns out to be a male review. Zack doesn't want to be there but stays for a drink. As he gets to the door to leave, he hears a voice from the stage that sets him on fire. He turns around and it's the guy with the blue hair. He's utterly shocked to see him up there dressed as a woman. Totally not what he expected his Mate to look like. Corey feels the same pull and looks around to find Zack staring at him. He remembers Zack from the airport a few years ago. With his senses reeling, he starts to loose the flow if his act. He turns again to look for Zack but he's no longer by the door. Zack has moved next to stage and looks at Korey like he wants to eat him alive. After Korey's performance, Zack motions for him to follow him outside. Korey does so without even thinking. Outside, face to face, they realize they are fated mates.
This is as far as I'll go with summary because there's no fun in being told what happens. Be curious, be excited to read this book. It will not disappoint. Steele is an amazing writer who pulls you into his stories and you won't want to let go. His plots and characters are well written. It is well worth your time to read any of his Fated Agency book.
I originally received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Loved how she started to bring everything together for the 2 main characters and mostly for Praya.

Zack a man who just turned 18 and Alpha is so desperately looking for his Omega and live happily ever after, but when he keeps getting the voice mail to the agency, it just makes him more frustrated and difficult to deal with. How could this be?? There was no way in hell that he wasn't going to find his mate, even if it took him the rest of his life and that's what it looked like. But a sudden trip to find Praya has him eyeing a young handsome man in the airport who sports an outrageous hair color that grabs his attention and much more, but he's set on finding his love, so off he goes, leaving behind the life he's know and that handsome stranger he just laid eyes on.

Asking around with the help of his cousin, Zack finally finds Praya and seeks her out to ask why she closed down the agency and how he can find his mate, but their little gathering isn't what he had hoped for. Prays, now retired tell hims what he needs to do and go do it himself and leave her out of it. Sending Zack in a world wide search for his one and only, but will he find his Omega? We shall see.

Korey is a young man who's life isn't the best nor the worst, he's just there, but he does have a night life that isn't up to par for others. While people watching in the airport one day he senses that someone is watching him, he catches the site of a handsome man, but it doesn't last to long, for he's gone on the flight and out of his life.

When things don't go according to Zack's plan and finds himself back home and his cousin decides to take him to see a show at the local gay club, but it's not what he expect. Seems that there is a special someone in the act that is happening in front of him. Eyes lock and Zack realizes that the main attraction is that same someone he's seen before.

Will Zack find his true love?
Will Korey ever feel like he's the one for his mate?
Will the both of them just give in and live happily ever after??

I got this book a head of time for an honest review and it was great!!!!

What a beautiful way to complete the Fated Date Agency Saga. There are so many ways the author could expand on this series, so many possible spin-offs, it is almost mind-boggling. I love the way Abraham Steele has taken the shifter idea to new levels with a gay version, and especially the Alpha/Omega fated mate. In each of the books in the series, the heroes have had unique situations, and this one topped them all. Zack, our alpha, has been through some tough times, and finding himself basically alone in the world, is ready to find his fated mate and get on with life. The only problem…the agency has closed and they aren’t responding to any of his communications. But he’s determined and won’t give up. After tracking down Praya, and pretty much keeping “in her face” until she gives in and shows him how to continue with the work she was doing. How to take the samples and analyse them, and how to match fated mates. Armed with this information, he’s off to roam the world in order to find his mate. If only he would have followed his instincts prior to hunting down Praya. When he finally makes his way back home to wind down a bit, staying with his cousin, one of three living relatives he has left, they decide to go out for an evening and see if they could possibly find a man to help him relax. Imagine his reaction when, after almost leaving, he hears the voice of an angel…or is that the man in drag up there on stage? There is something about him that is keeping him from leaving….his name being Korey and his up on stage.
So much action and numerous unexpected twists, you won’t want to miss out on this book. If ever there was an alpha that deserved his happy ever after, it’s Zack. The question is…will they be able to get over their many obstacles? Will Korey ever want to leave his hometown? Will they be able to make a go of it? If you think you know what’s going to happen, don’t bet on it! A must read!

This was the final book in the Fated Date Agency series. I've really enjoyed the concept and the series. I liked how the series is complete enough to end, yet open enough to continue if the author ever decides to (especially to help Betas match).

In this installment, Zack is desperate to find his mate. The agency closed before he could come of age, and he is all alone after his parents are in a car accident. He has this need to feel complete, and thinks it can only happen after he finds his mate. He contacts Praya to see if she will help her, but she won't come out of retirement. What she does instead, is teach Zack how to check the matches for his mate. He spends 4 years traveling all around the world working on searching for his mate. When his cousin convinces him to come home to take a break and visit, he finally finds his mate.

Korey is a student with one year of accounting degree left. He makes extra money by performing as Glory Pole the drag queen. To him, it is just a hobby and fun. Zack can't stand other people looking at Korey and has a huge problem with it.

I have to admit that Zack annoyed me to no end. He was so focused on his mate. He searched for him, gave up pretty much everything to do the search, isolated from everyone. When he did find his mate, despite saying he was happy and would do anything for his mate, he still acted like he was self absorbed. He didn't communicate at all with Korey and would just make Korey guess about his thoughts. He says he wants Korey happy, but then gives him attitude when Korey wants something. Another thing that I didn't like was that the story spanned a lot of years, but didn't really give that feel other than saying something like "after 4 years away". I had trouble really connecting with Zack and Korey as a strong couple.

I love this entire series. This wasn't my favorite of the books, but I liked it overall.

This is the ninth book in the Fated Date Agency Series. I loved this book. I loved the character and how they developed. I loved the story line and how unique it was to the series. I loved everything that Zack did to try and find his Omega. It took him four long years to finally find him and then to find out that he wasn’t what he was expecting. It took him a long time to be ok with the fact that his mate likes to be a Drag Queen since he prefers his mate dressed as a man and doesn’t understand why it makes his mate happy to be a Drag Queen. I loved Korey and how lovable he is. I loved how he ends up helping Zack take the Fated Date Agency internationally and how they can help the betas find their best possible match. I love that Praya gets her mate. After all, that she did for all of the Alphas and Omegas to find love it was nice to see her get her happily ever after. I loved all the cameo appearances by some of the other characters in this series. I am so sad that this is the last book in the series, but I did like how the book ended and that if the author decides to go back to this series and write more book than he can. I received this free book in exchange for an honest review. Here is a synopsis of the book. The Fated Date Agency closed its doors just days before Zack turned eighteen. Completely alone in the world, the young shifter craves the love that only a mate can provide. He vows to do whatever it takes to find his Omega – including tracking down the agency's owner across the globe. But Praya can't help this time. She already matched every alpha and omega in the country, and Zack's mate isn't on file. If Zack wants to find love and start a family, he'll have to embark on an epic quest that will take years and span continents. When all hope seems lost, will the stubborn alpha manage to find his omega? And if he does, will his mate be everything he expected? Aftermath is the ninth and final book in the Fated Date Agency series.

Aftermath (Fated Date Agency #9) by Abraham Steele
3.5 stars
M/M Shifter, Romance
I was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

I have only read the previous 2 books before this one, but I have enjoyed them both. This one, however, I found to be somewhat lacking. From the very beginning, Zack was driven - he needed to find his Omega. This singular drive became his obsession and despite seeking Praya out and having her teach him how to figure out who his Omega might be, it takes Zach an obscenely long time to figure out who his Omega is.

This was mostly a story about how Zack learns the business - takes over the match making business that Praya began. It was far less about the love story and I think that was what I disliked the most. I wish, especially for the ending of the series (unless there will be another one or spin off series) I wish it would have gone out with an epic love story.

Another issue I had with this story was that Zack was not very nice to anyone - even once he finds Korey - he is hot, then cold, wants him but wants to go out and help those who are searching for their mates, regardless of Korey's life. And, what makes these issues much more pronounced is that we never know why Zack runs hot and cold. It's just something that we have to accept.

I think the redeeming factor in this story was Korey's outlook on life. And, despite the fact that he bends way too easily to what Zack wants, I know that it's because of love that he does. I do wish that he was able to stand up to Zack and demand more respect and love - it seemed that he was willing to let himself be consumed by what Zack wanted, rather than create a partnership.

All in all, this was a good way for this series to end - but, in a way, it does give hope that perhaps there will be a spin off of international matches.

This is book # 9, in the Fated Date Agency series. This can be read as a standalone novel, but it is more meaningful and the readers gets complete understanding when read in the order intended.

Korey went all around the world to find his Zack. He would never have stopped, if he had not found him. While on his travels, he discovers something that may be life changing for Praya. Should he tell her?

Zack has a lifestyle so different from Korey. Though they are fated mates, can they really have two worlds collide? Korey and Zack must compromise to make it happen. Can an Alpha do compromise?

This book was a complete surprise! I found that it was full of unexpected people and things. A very wonderful way to end a series.

I can't beleive this is number 9. This series is great and Aftermath is a wonderful addition to it. Read along with all the twist and turns that make this a great book. Can you imagine searching the world for your one true love to have everything finally come full circle to where you began, and even though he isn't what you expected, the connection is so strong all you see is love. This book is a must read

An ending and a new beginning
I really loved this final story of the Fated Dating Agency books. We have one determined Alpha that wants to find his mate and goes to extremes to do so. But when he finds him it is in the most unexpected place of all. Well written and very entertaining story to read. Ties up the series in a very nice package. High praises to the author for this story and for the entire series all of which are self contained stories.

By far the best

I won't lie and say that there isn't a predictable format to the series but for most of the books it works!! This is by far the best in the series in my opinion and reminded me why I fell in love with the fated dating agency in the first place. Thanks to this one I am truly sorry to see the series end. But I definitely look forward to reading what Abraham Steele publishes next!
