Mayla lived a life of privilege as the daughter of a powerful Mohawk war chief. When she discovers the body of a wounded enemy, her compassionate heart leads her to try and save his life. Her people despise the enemy in their midst, but Mayla sees beyond what the Huron stands for and opens a world to him that offers more than friendship and hope.Washke, is a ferocious war leader. During a hunting trip, he is unexpectedly injured by an arrow to his chest and left for dead. When he awakens days later, he finds himself in the camp of his enemy. His reasoning is clouded by not only his hatred but, his dramatically altered fate. His embittered spirit is tested as he realizes the enticing beauty who rescued him is not only the sister of the man who attempted to take his life but also, the daughter of the Chief holding him captive. An unyielding attraction is the glue that binds them together along with an impassioned love so strong, it rivals even hatred and the cultural barriers that continually threaten to pull them apart.

I was an avid reader of romance fiction before I was able to follow my dream of becoming a published author.

It took nearly thirty hard-knock years before beginning that journey. If not for them, however, I never would have known how to create the kind of raw, human, emotion I want my readers to feel during their journey into my world of contemporary, historical, and suspense romances.

You'll find my characters relatable, flawed, sometimes wounded and broken who eventually find what we all seek out of life ... a deep connection, being understood and accepted, and with an ever-lasting love grown from it all. I write about life and the lessons learned from its experiences and welcome you into my world. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and hopefully be inspired in some small way.

Have a blessed day & hugs from me to you.icons located at the bottom of my w

Captive Warrior

I loved this book. It tells you what the love of a family should be. It explains how the American Indian gives thanks to everything The Creator, God, gave us to live on, to live with, and to use our natural resources for medicines that can heal if we just studied how to use them. It showed jealousy and discord among people different from your own, but how to solve those issues with love, kindness and patience.

Enemy to family

Great read!! I enjoyed all the historical information in the story as well. Seeing an enemy as more, getting to know them and not just sending him to a crucifixion. Sweet love story!!

love concurs

What a beautiful love story. Not only is it a love story but it teaches acceptance. This man and woman are meant to be together. Their tribes are enemies but that can’t stop what the creator has sanctioned. It is a very compelling story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Anger

I loved this read as it reminds us that anger is not to be taken lightly. That hate and anger can cause pain, allow us to make bad decisions.
