Nasty Andrew is coming.

He is a pure psychopath, a deranged killer who guts his victims for pleasure alone. And he is also pure fiction, a character created by two people sharing their most terrible fears.

Nick, a writer for hire, supplied the gruesome details for his collaborator's visions. But now the Nasty Andrew murders are really happening - as written - in a cross-country bloodbath. A hideous spree of mayhem that's headed straight for Nick.

Nasty Andrew is coming.

He's not a dream anymore. He's a living nightmare... as real as the blood he spills.

"Dylan. This is a trashy horror book that has one 2 star rating. Why did you read this?"

Look. Trash literature is a guilty pleasure of mine. I had just read some heady books and wanted something fun. Was it? Yeah. But it's not particularly memorable.

The writing is pretty mediocre and workmanlike, and when the author tries to describe some more fantastical elements it just becomes confusing and muddled. Particularly near the end, entire sequences are rendered incomprehensible by bad writing.

In addition, it's not the most original plot. It's a pretty blatant rip off of The Dark Half by King, and it takes elements of Killer BOB from Twin Peaks and stuff from Lovecraft.

Still, it's a fun read. Be warned though, the ending is AWFUL.
