Rate this book
For most men, discovering you're about to be a father comes with a LOT of questions, A Man's Guide to Having a Baby will answer them and many more, guiding you through what it takes to become a reliable, supportive partner and amazing father.

Finding out you’re going to be a dad is one of the best times in a man’s life, but it’s also a time of uncertainty... What do I need to buy? When’s the first scan? Where will the baby sleep? A Man’s Guide to Having a Baby will answer all these questions and more. Written from a dad’s perspective, the chapters explain everything an expectant father needs to know about pregnancy and taking care of your new arrival.

In the first chapter Dominic Bliss offers reassuring words of encouragement to nervous fathers before moving on to the practical side of things, covering in detail what to expect over the following nine months, describing everything from your partner's changing body and potential medical issues to birthing options and preparing the nursery. Chapter two describes the birth itself, making sure you know when it's time to take your partner to the hospital and all the possible scenarios you and your partner may face once you get there. Chapter three is packed with essential tips for the first few days after you've taken your newborn home, plus sage advice for the subsequent 12 months. Topics covered in this section include changing your first diaper, feeding, baby first aid, childproofing your home, supporting your partner, childcare options, and much more. Finally, this updated edition also includes a section of stories from first-time fathers, recounting tales from the pregnancy, lessons from the birth, travelling with a baby, and more.

Being a mum looks too hard. I want to be a dad! haha
I know nothing about babies! Nothing. This was a good start. Easy to chew.
I learned so much. You gotta warm milk and sterilizer all bottles I didn't know this stuff.
