Annette Glass is a beautiful divorced mother of three. After years of suffering emotional and mental abuse at the hands of her cheating ex-husband, she is okay being alone. Accepting an offer from a friend of a night of bowling to have some prospects; she goes just to have fun.
James (Jay) Darrington is a successful handsome business owner, who is trapped in a loveless marriage. Able to turn a professional travesty into a triumph, he has just accepted his personal life. I enjoyed this story!

This book was a powerfully written tale of love and adultery, with strong loyalties between friends even though they didn't agree with everything going on. I felt there was a spectrum, with Tonya on one extreme, Bianca on the other, and Annette in the middle. I loved the characters and got pulled into the story very quickly! Well done!

This was definitely a nonconventional love story but I loved it. Elaine was such a bitch. She had a great husband and still couldn't be a better wife. I agreed with Damita because everything concerning Elaine was suspect. Tonya was too judgemental for me because she always found negativity in each situation because of what she was dealing with. I appreciated Bianca because she didn't bite her tongue and always encouraged Annette to live a little and not dwell on what others thought. It was long overdue for Annette to find some happiness although she didn't go about it the way most people would've thought was right. I loved what she shared with Jay and was hoping things would get on the right track so they both could experience all the happiness they longed for. Jay actually did his best when it came to honoring his situation but feeling unappreciated as well not getting any love will sure have one switching up once the right one comes along. I didn't want to put my kindle down because I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. I loved how things played out in the end and only hope they'll stay that way and Elaine isn't too vindictive. C.D. has definitely been added to my list of new authors. #KNL

I'm not a big fan of cheating spouses, but I was intrigued, and chose to read the story - after all, it's fiction. The more I read, the more I was pulled into the situation. CD Blue did a great job of building suspense, keeping me guessing and wondering with each flip of the page when would this man get caught. I couldn't put it down. Even the MCs friends were interesting because they had their own drama going on in their lives. There's a lot of steamy sex scenes that aren't forced or overdone.

I'm looking forward to reading book 2. Don't keep us waiting too long.

(Yes there are some editing issues, but my review is not based on that, it's based on the story content)

I really enjoyed the start of the story, so light and with innocent intentions. I like the way the author developed the main characters and also the supporting characters. There were times I felt lost or got turned around in the reading but I was able to move on without a huge hitch. I have gotten the next book in the series and will be comfortably engrossed soon!

I found this to be an interesting story. While I was not a fan of Elaine, I thought she handled the situation quite well. Storyline held my attention as I had no idea how this story would end. Tonya & Bianca were good friends to Annette, giving their different opinions.

Sins

This book was a good effort from the author. I'm sure as she grows in this industry her skills at weaving in depth characters will grow.
Attention to repetition and learning to show and not tell are things that take time and I'm looking forward to future releases as this young lady reaches for her dreams.

I enjoyed it very well. I'm going to need Tonya to stop being so judgemental and get a life. Bianca is crazy as hell. I'm glad that Jay and Attenette found each other and how they found happinesses as well. #KNL

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I can’t say i condone this type of relationship but I think that the Author did an awesome job giving us a visual of how an affair could have been a mistake, that the man was not a dog, that women can push a man into cheating and you can be totally unhappy, lonely, neglected, in your relationship and then u crossed paths with a compatible energy then POW!. I love the writing style, smooth read. Well written #lovethecover #hotreadswithphil
