Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. To date, she has written over eighty books and sold over 5.1 million copies. Her free novellas have been downloaded over 8 million times since 2013.
Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.
It started out overly ridiculous and so clichéd that I couldn't keep a straight face while reading it for a good chunk of the novella. It was simply cracking me up with the idiotic lines. But then something happened towards the end that made it better. Still cheesy and ridiculous, but more bearable. I think I'll read the next one I've already got on my Kindle, since I'm going to hell anyway.
Instant attraction or love at first sight?......depends on who you ask Mia or Ramzi.
Sparks fly the minute Ramzi spots the attractive profile gazing into a store window....he does something out of character and asks her to dinner. Mia fearing the unknown feelings this handsome stranger has awakens in her body, tries to deny him.....but Ramzi won't be denied.
The intense passion burns hotter as they can't keep their hands or lips to themselves.....and their drive to dinner ends up pushing both of them to their limit and beyond.
Innocent Mia is so shocked by their passionate night and so overwhelmed she walks around in a daze but Ramzi is in no better condition as he can't stop thinking about his sweet angel.
Mia makes him laugh and happy so he decides to marry Mia and take her home with him. Mia fears that they have not known each other long enough for marriage so she tries to put him off but nothing will stand in his way of claiming her.
Ramzi maybe powerful and strong but his trust in women in none due to past women using him for sex, money, and social status. That with the first test of his trust in Mia he fails so totally that he pushes her away and she leaves. Now her trust in him is badly shaken and her heart bruised, she is not sure if she can trust him again.
This was a wonderful read; romantic and full of adventure......and humor. Mia has some funny moments and is such a interesting fun heroine. I loved the labor scenes as Mia cracked me up with her 'I am done here now. It's too soon, the baby's room is not done yet. I will come back next week. Too much pain, you get up here and push this watermelon out of your body.' Thoses were some amazing scenes.
Sheik Rakhi del Abbas Samaria is in Montreal with meetings. He sees Mia Fortelle on the streets after working as a school teacher for third grade. He sees her and is determined to get to know her. When the next day she comes home and her apartment is filled with more pink roses. He knocks on her door and ask her out. They end up sleeping together. He ask her to marry him. Heroes home but call her every day. He come the next weekend. He convinced her to go home with him and they marry. He comes in and she was falling and her bodyguard caught her from falling. He turned his back and she went home. She finds out she is pregnant. He tries to get a divorce. He goes to talk to her and finds she is in labor with their child. He takes them home and tries to talk her being together
Love at first sight is the base of the story. Keeping love and trust alive when you are from different station in life is how the story progressed. Ms. Lennox writes well that she Carrie’s you along with the story development. I just have one disagreement with the fact in her story. A 2 week old baby usually can’t be brought out to the pool to swim and play nor can they be played with yet. They’re usually sleeping and eating at this point. The baby in this story seems to be reacting like a 4-5 month old baby. I also didn’t like that the heroine just gave in after being ignored and hounded for divorce for the major part of her pregnancy. It would have been nice to see more groveling or angst from the hero.
They meet and married very quickly. But once married there was no room for growing together. He was a Sheik she had no idea what happens when the marriage settled. He has expectations and forgot to let her know palace protocol. Now she has left him and went home to Montreal. She refuses to sign the divorce papers. What happens when he shows up? That is interesting. I loved certain parts of her pregnancy.
While in Montreal on business Sheik Ramzi meets third grade teacher Mia. He is captivated with her and seduces her into his bed. Three months after they are married Ramzi believes Mia has betrayed his trust after he see her in the arms of her bodyguard. This romance develops and becomes more involved as Ramzi siblings add their humorous input. A fabulously fun reading and great start to this series.
I don't know what kind of story the author meant to write but the final book takes stupidity and ridiculousness to new, sky-high levels. Since there are too many of her books, not to my liking, it's probably time I ban her from my reads. And, congratulations Elisabeth, you definitely earned the ban.
The Samara Royal Family series book 1. Ramzi story. It's a nice read. Definitely sexy. Angsty and funny at times. I had issues with some of the story. Like if he thought she was cheating how does he ignore her for that long? And what happened to the guard? It kinda went from misunderstanding to bizzaro world. But I still liked most of it.
Mia was such a Virgo. I felt like she could have defended herself better immediately saying that she fell and her bodyguard was lifting her up. It's crazy that he just jumped to conclusions and the whole misunderstanding happened. He almost missed her giving birth to their son! omg the labor scene was hilarious! loved it
This book seemed like a Harlequin ngl when I picked it up.
1 Star = DNF. 2 Star = Finished. Didn’t really enjoy. 3 Star = Finished. Story was neither good nor bad. 3.5 Star = Finished. Story was good. Will probably pick up next in series if there is one. 4 Star = Finished. Enjoyed story & will definitely pick up next in the series! 5 Star = Bloody LOVED it! ❤️
Mia is an innocent lovely lady who meets and falls in love with a mystery man who turns into royalty. Sheik Ramiz just met his dream girl. As a man of action he takes what he wants. There are misunderstandings and stubbornness on both parts but in the end love wins out. Linda
After reading a few books by this author, I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re either hit or miss for me. This one, unfortunately, is a miss. Ramzi’s reaction to the incident that creates the conflict is so bizarre that I wasn’t sure I wanted to finish the book. The explanation he offers later in the story didn’t redeem him for me. Maybe time to try another series.
A great book Elizabeth. Another great tile Elizabeth. Want made you to write books 📚 about sheik's in the first place. I liked the bits again about the baby in the book. This book is worth 5 stars again.
Nothing like love at first sight, a man that sends tons of pink roses and hot sex on the first date. This sheikh knew what he wanted and came prepared. Loved this story.
It was a good story, kind of lagged a bit in my he middle with Mia seeming at first strong and capable, but then wishy washy. Good, I loved the story line, but like I said a bit more in the middle would be great.
Love Elizabeth Lennox's books. Guaranteed a good, delightful, sexy read. I always look to her for a quick satisfying read. She lifts my spirits and brings enjoyment every time.
I seriously don’t understand how Mia could sleep with Ramzi when he was practically a stranger to her, even though she is not into casual sex. It really baffled me. It was ridiculous he could believe she was having an affair, based on circumstancial evidence. It did mot make any sense that he let it go on for 6 months without any clarification or justification. Mia on the other hand was extremely accmodating when the situations were reversed. She did not make Ramzi work on his apology for treating her so appallingly. Mia’s antics in the hospital were quite unique and funny to say the least. Her mood swings caused Ramzi a lot of confusion, which also quite funny to imagine.
When it comes to stories about Sheiks, the desert alphas, I have a few favorite authors. One of them is Elizabeth Lennox. I like how she has her books in series so that the main characters each will have a book of their own. I also enjoy her latest move to write an introduction to the series which then will lead into each of the characters storyline. Pregnant with the Sheik’s Baby is the first book following the introduction of the Samara Royal family. In this story we read of the eldest sibling of the Samara family…Ramzi. While in Canada Ramzi meets Mia Fortelle a third grade teacher. At first Mia is overwhelmed by Ramzi and doesn’t believe she is in his league which leads to her trying to avoid him. Ramzi isn’t that easily dissuaded and quickly sets to persuade Mia they belonged together. After a whirlwind beginning, Mia agrees to marry Ramzi and move to his country, Kilar. Mia quickly falls in love with her husband but he isn’t one to believe in love; he just believes they are good together and that is enough. When an innocent situation is misconstrued by Ramzi he shuts Mia out of his life thinking the worst of her. Mia tries but when the obstacles mount up, she leaves Kilar. Not long after leaving Mia discovers she is pregnant. Determined to do what is right by her child, she fights back against the opposition Ramzi gives her. When Ramzi tracks her down, Mia’s secret is exposed in the most hilarious labor and delivery scene along with post-partum blues I have read in a long time. With the baby blues in full swing, it is the perfect time for Mia to discover she must defend her man against the worst kind of intruder….an ex love. This leads Mia to decide if she wants to stay with her alpha male or separate. Ramzi may finally be brought to his knees and discover what love is and just how important it really is to him. I love these stories and can’t wait for the next sibling in the Samara Family. The men definitely have a few lessons to learn about women! I don’t have a doubt they will each be just as enjoyable.
i think this is the worst story that elizabeth lennox ever wrote .. I mean the storyline is actually great about a man who didn't realize about his mistake and brutally think his wife cheating on him .. but the delivery is not good for me .. the story is moving too fast . I mean how could a woman who didn't even know the name of the man she met for the first time would sleep with that man .. and then she just married him a few weeks later .. I can't feel the connection between them .. and then the man accuse her of cheating on him because he found his wife in another man's arm .. I mean okay that's not right of you found one of your bodyguard inside your bedroom and holding your wife, but he didn't even try to get some explanation and then left her .. a few months later when he want a divorce he found out that his wife is almost in labor and he just knew that his wife never cheat on him without any explanation 'again'. and the there is a commotion in the surgery room with the wife lost too much blood and he realized he didn't want to lose her .. and after the recovery the wife have baby blues and then the man's ex fiancee comeback asking to be taken as his mistress .. bla bla .. i stopped read the book when the ex fiancee made an appearance .. I love Elizabeth Lennox' story .. she makes some great stories but I'm disappointed with this book .. when the first time I read the summary it was actually tempting .. but too much drama without a clear solution make this story kind of boring .. like she tried to hard to make the story longer while the problems have been solved .. I don't mean any harm with this comment but I just want to share my opinion about this story .. anyway keep writing a briliant story dear author ^^ I'm waiting for another good story from you .....
I liked this right up until Ramzi turned into a jerk. Actually I thought Mia was a cute levelheaded character until she got pregnant. When she was in labor her maturity level went down and she started acting like different character. I don't know what happened, but the school teacher Mia from the beginning was no where to be found after she went into labor. It was weird. I thought the labor scene was meant to be cute, but I found it annoying and it made Mia look weak. Trying to avoid the delivery, she had 9 months to prepare for it. When you get to that point you are usually excited to finally meet your baby. Also, what was up with her yelling at Ramzi and going through their whole history during the delivery. Again, not cute. He deserved her wrath and her anger but I thought the timing was weird. I also didn't like the ex fiance scene seemed to contrived. Why was she coming around after he brought Mia back. If she was trying to offer herself, why didn't she do it during the months and months of Mia and Ramzi's separation? The timing was too perfect to be realistic. Like the author wanted the dramatic moment but didn't have the patience to flesh out the story.

Sheikh Ramzi met a schoolteacher. Took her virginity and proposed. 3 months into their marriage, he saw her in his guard’s embrace. He accused her of cheating and didnt allowed her to explain. 2 weeks being ignored, she left the palace. He came when she was in a labour so she can sign the divorce paper 6 months later. She gave birth to their son. 6 weeks later she was cleared for sexual activity and he wanted to have sex with her. She hold off wanting to talk and saw him with his ex-fiancee at his office. She was understanding and didnt make up her own assumption. She forgave him when he said he realized he loves her during her labour. Shit head.
