✨5 THE HEROINE HAS BALLS BIGGER THAN THAT OF THE HERO'S STARS ✨
This book gave off all the warning signs it might have possibly offered, with the key ones being:
✨ Wattpad✨ and werewolves in one sentence.
Repeat those words slowly in your head. The heady combination should easily send you running far away from the sound possibility of wasting your precious, limited edition lifetime on absolute trash.
Imagine my surprise when I literally felt my insides twitch nervously every time I opened the book. And I did that a lot. Opening and closing the story, savouring every angsty page that made me choke on whatever I had in my mouth at the given moment. 👄 Leaving the vulgar, crude details of my life aside, I must say it aloud: I loved this book so much. Or, better said, I loved to hate the book with every fiber of my being.
The story encompassed everything I crave in my regular sweet read of the week: emotional swings that might swing you into being diagnosed with bipolar depression, dramatic events that make you curse like a sailor and heartbreaking scenes that potentially ruin the shirt of whoever stupid enough to welcome your face, stained with tears and snot, in their embrace. 🥰
I generally don't like stories about werewolves (you can easily tell whose team I was in my Twilight phase), but the book features unputdownable angst-fest of epic proportions. I ate it up with big spoons.
The heroine was my type of girl (I don't really have a type, though, so I have no idea why I'm lying rn 🤡) - strong, resilient, stubborn as fuck, yet sweetly vulnerable and a fragile soul. 😌
She resisted the hero at every step and basically just didn't give two single fucks about some random male who claimed she was his mate. 💋 The girl enjoyed a peaceful life with her family and once a scary, ultra controlling warlord alpha of another pack got a whiff of her perfume and made a decision to claim her as his property, her pussy didn't magically fall prey to her enemy's nonexistent charm. Neither did it take precedence over her mind, body and soul.
She hated his rapacious guts with passion and demonstrated the whole pack as well as her pussy ass, looser of a brother how you're bound to act when some asshole tries to steal something that is not his to take. Your Life. Decisions. Choices.
I'm forced to admit that during the first few dozen of pages, a weird thought kept circling my mind like a damn vulture... Stop being so damn resisting... give this guy a break... uh... oh... urgh *incomprehensible sounds following*.
Kinda hard to admit it, guys, but turned out that the heroine had more common sense than I did... because the dick deserved every stubborn, defiant act she dished out on him. And so much more. 🙏🏻😭
I hated, 💋 detested,🤩 abhorred,😍 loathed, 🥰despised, 😘 abominated, 💗 execrated 💘 (my sincere gratitude to the English language for providing me with a row of words that did absolutely fucking nothing to help me express even a dime of my true feelings towards... 👍🏻) that insecure little shit on stick alpha bitch of a hero.
If I got paid for every second I spent wanting to strangle the life out of him in the most excrutiatingly painful ways possible, now I would be drinking martini on the enormous villa, situated in one of the uninhabited islands in the South Pacific that I own instead of writing this review. In other words, I would be a criminally rich woman. ✨✨✨
The useless hole of fake alphaness, whose name I don't wanna spell, the scariest jerk of the universe in question couldn't bend all the rules of his shitty pack into perfectly fuckable position for one single time in his worthless life and for the sake of his mate, no more no less. 🤡 Indeed, why waste your precious effort that can only lead to sparing your mate the cruel physical and mental torture that lasts just a few months? 🤔 Clearly, such an outcome wasn't worth the little effort on his part. Watching her suffer right in front of your eyes for months, so she finally breaks and abides by your pack's stupid ass, old as a dead horse' shit, atavistic rules, while almost dying in the process? From alpha with ❤️
That awkward moment when you're a big, strong, broody and ruthless werewolf who had conquered vast lands and many peoples, yet you are completely incapable of telling anachronistic old women and men of your pack to shut their judgemental, conservative face holes along with cutting off the shallow gossip with your sharp claws or fiercer than thou reputation. Your only chance at happiness being on the verge of death, but you're stuck on the hashtag #REPUTABLELIFEMATTERS? Makes sense, if we ignore the fact that this is a romance book.
WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED TERRIFYING REPUTATION AT ALL IF ONE LITTLE, HELPLESS GIRL CAN RUIN IT IN A SPAN OF A WEEK???

BLOWN AWAY. The story made me cry. Such a cruel hero, such an emotional trainwreck. I'm not okay and I want someone else not to be okay too🥲🥺😥 so

Another compelling and tragic story of this series that I read without ever putting it down and snapping to everyone dared to speak to me while I was reading it.
The hero here deserves gold medal for worst hero ever.
The setting is now similar to a contemporary normal world where there are such things as telephone, tv, cars and bars.
The heroine is basically claimed by the hero as tribute in exchange for the heroine’s pack’s lands.
She’s only 18 and a lil spoiled and bratty so she defies the hero and pouts like the sulking teenager she is.
He punishes her.
Repeatedly.
I won’t spoil too much but it was excessive and unnecessary.
And let me tell you, inconsistent.
Because she was his mate, and he should have felt the urge to protect her and he should have tried not to damage her and hurt her too much because his inner self forbade it.
And he was an alpha, so he should have had standards of punishment.
It wasn’t like that.
He acts like a sadist and a brute and he lets his rage have the best of him.
Isn’t it the opposite of what an alpha and a fated mate should be???
So I found his reactions to the heroine’s tantrum unacceptable and the proof of his weakness instead of his strength.
He should know how to deal with rebel juveniles and it is not trying to kill them.
So I couldn’t enjoy the book too much.
Just because the heroine acted like a rebel teenager he:
- starved and chained her for 3 months
- let his pack make fun of her
- let her suffer during her first heat ( because pack comes first)
- whips her almost to death, scarring her permanently and traumatizing her for years
Well, if this is the alpha’s behavior I pity his pack.
For the author. Wolves protect his young and his females. Always. They don’t damage them. This is a coward’s way.
And he had gall to ask her if she would ever love him.
I wanted to bang my head against a wall.
Sadly the heroine is not Bessa, the revengeful heroine of a previous book, or this hero wouldn’t have stood a chance to breath for more than two second after asking her this stupid question.
This one forgave him after some weeks because of the bond.
And suddenly I was grumpy and sulking like a teenager.
I don’t find her a strong woman.
She was depressed and became an alcoholic after the whipping and was ashamed of her scars.
I wish she was stronger.
I wish she reacted.
I wish she had covered her scarred body with gory tattoos that made her a badass. And maybe some piercings. And some leather pant. And a whip. Like catwoman. (A werewolf dressed like catwoman! Lol)
I wish she had treated the hero with contempt and had tried to hurt him emotionally for years.
But she didn’t.
And my need for revenge remained not satisfied.
But the book was good.
There’s action, there’s the hero’s twin who tries to seduce the heroine because the hero seduced his mate years before.
There’s some ow drama but no big deal. He had this woman who wanted to be claimed by him but he never touched her even before he met the heroine.
I loved the angst but I wish the heroine made the hero pay more.
And I would have killed the hero if he didn’t have a wolf inside ( I love wolves)

Ok I see the hype. I get it. 5 stars ⭐️.
But I don’t plan to read other books by this author because she seems to love the ”h is the second best trope” and most of her books have this theme, as was the case here.
So this book is about fated mates.
But his first love as the alpha will always be his pack, his duty, and his poor mate will always take a back seat.
He will always put this pack ahead of the h.
That sounds responsible as the alpha (he has hundreds of ppl he has to protect after all)…
But his mate happens to be a stubborn, spoiled brat who’s only 18. And she acts like an entitled, hormonal child.
So to save face, he has to completely break her spirit.
Repeatedly.😭
But she’s not easily broken because she’s a spitfire, so he almost kills her.
More than once.
It was a trainwreck.
I couldn’t stop reading their heartbreaking relationship, so this became a 5 star read for me.
If you enjoy angsty, emotional books with painful love - without a cheating H, I recommend this. I swear, half the time I was in tears reading it.
With that said, although there is no cheating, there is ex/ow drama and
He does brutally abuse the h physically as well as emotionally that will rip your heart out. I bawled.😭
If you love an angst fest, 100% recommend it.

Disclaimer : this is a book of domination exerting the will of one on another. This isn't butterfly kisses or rainbows. This book is raw, savage....Luna's are not equal they are below the alpha...there is only one boss, only one supreme leader...

This is not a book for feminists!
This is absolutely the most real weerewolf book I have ever read. It's so unique, so different; like nothing I have ever read before. The wolves always retain their true nature, neither thinking nor acting as the true humans in the world do, embracing a dog-like pack mentality, indicating that they are actually more wolf than human. Main characters are in constant competition for higher rank in the hierarchy, and only the aggressive actions of the alpha male held the female in check.

At some point Grey went to far in my opinion, and if it was me i would have beheaded him in his sleep but you have to consider that their world is totally different than ours. Although Grey becomes less violent twards the end he never loses his true animalistic dominant nature.

This book was angsty and painful to read. I’m not sure Grey ever really redeemed himself, if it was even possible after what he did. He is the alpha and Meela is his claimed luna mate. It takes a lot to get her to submit.
Rachelle Mills is my favorite were-romance author. Her world building is incredible. I read this on Wattpad and there were some typos and grammatical errors, but I still savored every page.

First, a warning: if you are a feminist, don't read Grey's Tribute. The characters and the plot will make you so angry you will want to punch your screen (I am deadly serious).
Now, let's begin the review.
First, I want to begin by the characters:
Honestly, I couldn't feel an ounce of sympathy towards Meela, no matter how much what happened to her was unfair. I found her weak, insecure, stubborn, and the way that she couldn't resist the mate bond, no matter how awful Grey acted towards her, made me mad beyond belief. If a man ever dares treat me like him, I will kick him where the sun doesn't shine, mate bond or not. Plus, she's too easily influenced or manipulated by the others. Then, Grey: In all the books I've read, never in my whole life, never, have I wanted to be in a story so much just for the pleasure of slapping the disgusting male lead. I don't understand him. I don't at all. How can a mate be so cruel and so prideful? Does he even love Meela at all? I found myself clutching my covers while reading this story, because Grey is the most horrible male character I've ever read about. His hypocrisy also surprises me: saying to Meela "I am sorry, I don't want to do this, I don't want to hurt you", and then hurting her to the point she almost dies out of her injuries, then no, just no. Also, getting angry if she just speaks to a male when he has had an affair with his twin brother's mate is unacceptable.
Then, after everything he's done to her, he's still bad enough to manipulate her into coming back with him. To me, it felt like he had no regrets at all, because when you hurt the person that you love so much, even if you love them to the point of dying, I do not believe you can act like this and then be vicious enough to get them back no matter what. If this is love, then I want to stay single all my life and grow old with my dog lol.
Grey and Meela weren't the only characters with whom I've had problems. Pratically all the characters in this story: the weak and cowardly brother that couldn't even fight for his sister, Victoria, Grey and Fin's Mum that just watches and doesn't really act to save poor Meela when she feels sad for her, that damn Stephanie, Alpha Steve, and so more.
For me, the characters in Grey's Tribute are awful. They act like hypocrites, are extremely cruel. They're unrealistic, because I do believe that some people wouldn't have acted the way they did, some of them would have intervened to help Meela.
I am sorry I seem harsh. I found myself extremely frustrated while reading this book, to the point of biting my nails.
But well, enough with the characters.
The plot: too much illogical and unrealistic, and it's cliche for a werewolf story. Some events don't make sense, and there were times I found myself confused because one moment Meela was in a place and then the next she was elsewhere. Same for the time.
Again, some characters' reactions are just... impossible. I was confused at how Alpha Steve became Meela's ennemy in less than some minutes whereas they seemed to have gotten along since she was small. The story is also very cliche, maybe the names of the packs and some other things make it less cliche than other werewolf stories, but it's still a cliche.
The chapters are very repetitive, and honestly, the story is very boring. I couldn't finish it and there were some chapters I skipped. The writing isn't addictive nor entrancing. I think that the author has a very good vocabulary though, and I loved a lot of her figures of speech, but the way all of it coordinates is bad and isn't well structured, especially because of the lack of logic in the plot. The grammar is also bad, and the speeches aren't well written. They do not suit some of the characters like Grey, and do not support the story. It also lacks description concerning the places. I do believe that if it is edited it will be much better.
Sorry, this story is just not one I would read. This simply shows male domination and violence, and not love. It is not a relationship of love, not the way it's portrayed and narred. I also had a problem with the narration, the story is not well said and again, the events can make you really confused and the characters are infuriating and lack depth.

Tragic. Whiskeyqueenn’s writing hurts in the best way possible but it really really hurts man. I love meela, Greyson is and will forever be a little bitch.

This author is a great writer, but too many of her heroines settle for too little and are abused and dismissed by their reluctant men. I just can't anymore.
What is the point of building a world where your abused, dismissed, and humiliated main character never has any real victories? Is this just paranormal torture porn? Are readers supposed to enjoy the fact that at the end of the series or book the heroine has managed to figure out how to tolerate her situation but achieves it at the expense of her pride and agency? This is no different than the pick-me sassy doormats from contemporary romance novels, who accept cheating, cruelty, and lies in the name of getting their man.

Anyone remember that random GR update where I was ranting about a werewolf book where the alpha whipped his "mate" and pack "luna" into submission and then almost killed her :D...
Ya it was this book..... I found it on Wattpad and decided to re-read some of it to see if maybe I was being a bit too harsh... I. Was. Not.
The way I wished I never re-read it......... sigh...... well at least I can count it towards my goal...
This is just another toxic story of the FMC being abused by the MMC and she ends up forgiving him... I will say she doesn't make it easy but dude literally almost killed her and she goes back anyways... nah fam

I have always enjoyed reading books that explore the supernatural and I consider myself very fortunate that I came upon this book by this wonderful author. I have a preference in werewolf books and this book set a very high standard. You see the true nature of a society based on animal instinct where the strong lead and there is no room for weakness or disobedience towards the leader. Human characteristics coexist with their wolf instincts in the same body, fighting for dominance on each other at times due to their different needs and priorities.
Grey and Meela are two very strong wolfs in different aspects whose fate destined them to be mates. Due to their contrasting upbringing, lack of communication and mistakes that were made long before they met, their romance is far from a fairytale. Their relationship is hard to read as it is heartbreaking and tearful. As the narrative continues, the reader is shocked by a life altering event that will forever change the course of their bond and will cause the main characters to face the consequences of their actions.
Meela is a beautiful, young well trained wolf who possesses a strong will power and a natural stubbornness that often makes her dispute the authority that her mate inflicts upon her. She feels and loves deeply and for the first time in her life, she finds herself in an environment that is much more demanding with rules and traditions that she abhors. Her mated life is not the one she thought it would be, as she tries to survive and keep her dignity and sanity intact. Grey is a fierce Alpha whose instincts to protect and honor his pack are above all else. He repeatedly asserts his power on his mate, a follower of old traditions for his own selfish reasons as he is driven by his own past mistakes. They crash at every point until both are faced with their shortcomings and are made to decide if they will rise or perish.
Never forget that their nature is animalistic and the events unravel in a male dominant society. It will help to rationalize and accept the book for what it is, a well written novel that depicts the wolfs as they really are.
Having said that, I must commend the author, who even though has written a book about werewolves doesn’t fail to stir questions in the reader about the impact we all have on each other’s lives with the way we act or communicate. It’s both exciting and terrifying.

If I’m honest, this one didn’t live up to my expectations. There’s a crap ton of angst throughout. That part of the story delivers. And thank sweet mercy for that! My issue is that the story just stopped. It just ended. If you’ve read Fin, then you know where you are in the timeline when the abrupt ending happens and you can fill in some blanks based on that. The way this story ended increased my sense that Grey and Meela were really support characters all along and not really worthy of their own story. There are some missed opportunities to explain why Grey behaves so freakishly bad based on his family of origin story. And some of his behavior really deserves explaining!
So. I recommend reading if you want to know how Grey found Meela and learn about the trauma that he inflicted. That fills in some big blanks left from Fin. This book also gives Grey some harder edges, which we saw just a little of later in Fin. And died-in-the-wool Rachelle Mills fans will appreciate her spectacular writing, even if it just seems to slam the door in your face with that last chapter. If you go in with realistic expectations, then these chapters (because it honestly feels like chapters rather than it’s own book at times!) will be fine.
Read on freaking Wattpad. I am going to have to get my glasses prescription adjusted after so many Wattpad stories. 😅

As someone who spent an unproductive amount of time reading werewolf books, this one and the series it belongs to is one of the roughest ones I've seen. The male lead is an unspeakably horrible person, like the majority of this author's romantic male leads. In fact, at this point, I barely even consider them typical romances—they're more like horrifying dramas with sex scenes. The male leads and sometimes even the female leads are simply not redeemable people. This particular book features Grey and Meela, and they are an unhappy couple.

So I don't know how anyone could possibly read all of that (if you did not click on the spoiler, please do unless you're extremely averse to spoilers since it is a summary of his major actions; this is EXACTLY the type of thing we're talking about now) and thinks this is really a typical love story. This is going beyond the problematic Twilight, 50 Shades of Gray category. Like this is *objectively* a really horrible relationship, and this idea that their lifestyle has a totally different cultural context and therefore that's how it is and we can't judge them is lazy, yet this is the rhetoric that keeps coming out here. It's really not that gray at all. They're supposed to act more wolflike than human, apparently—but they send each other letters and enter bars and they're obviously very much human, with the standards and the empathy that come with it.
People have enough reason to think and behave independently of traditions, no matter how oppressive these traditions are, when these traditions don't align with their values. We see this all the time in our own world. When Grey is when his own parents couldn't get through with this particular ritual and his own mother was trying to give advice to Meela on how to avoid it, that says something about him. When he ignores Meela's wishes repeatedly with no remorse, that also says something. You can't just chalk it all up to "HORMONES!" and excuse every single horrible thing he'd done. There's nothing morally "gray" about his personality. He manipulates and beats Meela, and is presumably continuing the culture of strict male dominance and would instill these values in his own children. Those are choices he made. It can't be excused, and even though there are complex cultural factors at work here, they're honestly not explored appropriately. We wouldn't write romances in, say, rural Bangladesh, and write about how a particularly violent man treats his wife and paint their relationship as a morally gray love story though ultimately loving, because that is going to a territory that literally nobody wants to go into, especially with the lack of nuance this concept had in this book. Later in the book, Meela begins to say lines about how she's hurting him as much as he hurt her, and it never goes questioned in the narrative. It simply is. She didn't act perfectly, but for her to feel like this because of is an interesting writing choice, to put it lightly. And here's why she feels bad:
This is not a typical love story. I know I said something like that about Red Riding The Alphabut there I was talking about how the main leads have no chemistry outside of having sex, and for all Luciano does, for all his uncomfortable character quirks and how he doesn't know much about consent and how he and Red are a horrible couple, he doesn't quite reach these heights of awful behavior. The author here attempts to talk about cultural factors by bringing in the incredibly annoying community, which is demonstrated to be unlikeable and unsympathetic to Meela's needs; but at the same time, this doesn't change the fact that Gray himself is a particularly awful person, even judging him with others in the same group. Calling him a slave to his Alpha hormones and that's the end of it is absurd. There is also very little development between Meela's "friendships" with other women in the book, despite the fact that they are all existing in a harsh patriarchal society and that alone would, you know, would give them something to talk about or at least hint on. Meela's sister-in-law is portrayed like a thoughtless shrill, though I've read in the comments that she had a rough backstory of her own. But in the text, there's little discussion in why the sister-in-law has become the way she is besides WEREWOLF HORMONES, and it's a missed opportunity if the author ever wanted to tackle this subject with any type of gravity.
Here's the thing: the way the werewolves here are so hormonal and driven by their instincts is interesting. Her world building is intriguing and different. I do like to some degree about how her take is so different, and I do think she's bringing in something new into the werewolf category, but to use "HORMONES" to excuse that...mess above I put? And we're supposed to somehow think of this as morally gray? No thanks. I think when I first read the book, it said "don't read if you're a feminist" or something uncomfortable like that in the beginning, but seriously, don't read this book and expect to think of this as a decent romance if you have empathy as a typical human in general. Think of it more as an intense drama. More accurate that way, too. The only book that I've read from this author that had a male lead that even approached being, you know, likable, was probably Clayton, though I'm fuzzy on the details so don't get angry if he turns out to be a jerk at the end or something. If the details in this review sort of turned you off, I would not read any other book in this series, because from what I can tell, they're generally more of the same of this.

Fantastic story about dominance and unforeseen consequences in a rule driven shifters world. There were so many stories entwined with the main characters, both of whom are flawed. So consequences become an overarching theme and some of them were very harsh. I would have liked more steam, it was too tame for the setting. I really liked this book and will follow the author.

This is one of the most realistic and gripping werewolf stories you can read. The characters are highly complex and they exist in a world that values strength over compassion, only the strong survive. The life inside the pack mimics that of a real wolf pack with a strict hierarchy that is established through fighting and power. It is also comparable to a medieval court, the king holds his divine right to rule and the queen exists solely to please and support the king. Throw in scheming courtiers with the ability to change into wolves with sharp claws and fangs and you have the pack construct.
As the characters are basically wolves housed in a human skin and the story is laced with animalistic references and traits displayed by all. We first meet the main characters Meela and Grey it is on a bloody battlefield where they recognise each other as their soul mate, and Grey takes Meela as tribute for his pack's help in her brother's fight. From this point on Meela belongs to Grey, and in this world a highly spirited female with a propensity for impulsive actions matched to a dog stubborn, self assured, dominant male is going to cause problems.
We follow Meela in her journey to become the pack's Luna, a pack who are even more wolf than the one she comes from, and with a mate who has set the highest standards for her to reach as his Luna(female Alpha) and will accept nothing less than perfection. In the midst of all this and the struggle they face to form a personal and public relationship there is one incident that will change them both and the fate of the pack completely. From that point on both Meela and Grey are inevitably changed and for them to be together, either one or both need to change, but when you live in a world where you are taught that weakness is easily exploited and to admit defeat can potentially lead to your destruction.
If you are looking for a werewolf story where there is a soft fluffy romance, where the male character acts all tough but is nothing more than a marshmallow around his soulmate then I suggest you look elsewhere... or brave out the aggression and violence of their world and get to know these nuanced and flawed characters who will draw you into a dark world and see where they lead you.

If you are looking for a werewolf story where there is a soft fluffy romance, where the male character acts all tough but is nothing more than a marshmallow around his soulmate then I suggest you look elsewhere... or brave out the aggression and violence of their world and get to know these nuanced and flawed characters who will draw you into a dark world and see where they lead you.

I read this authors published books, and really liked them. I enjoyed her writing style and thought she made bold choices in her previous works. So of course I was excited to see what else she had written.
The writing in this is good, you can still clearly get a feel for the authors voice. And she still made bold choices. Unfortunately, while I found this book compelling ( and totally worth the read) I felt the love story, the center of this book, was a bit of a flop.
I felt like the author was going for a bit of the old HQ brutal H trope. But, it’s a fine line between H and monster. In this case the H crosses a line I have honestly never read another H do It was, shocking. And not something I felt the story ever recovered from. On an aside, I think the author meant for the h to come off as somewhat spoiled and bratty, but it ended up feeling more childlike to me, which made the H come off as a bit creepy.
All in all, I’m still really excited to read more by this author.

This book has been appearing on my news feed by the time I went back to reading on Wattpad. I was so Happy for the decision that I made by adding this book. This book includes women abuse which was hard to read at first because I'm a female and it scares the hell out of me when scenes like those happen. But I pushed through because this book is about dominance between Alphas. This book is about Dominance, Pride and Power. This might be the very first book that I've read where her own mate punishes her for lack of respect but now that I think about it, out of all those hundreds and hundreds of werewolf books that I read, the 3 main topics wasn't thoroughly shown hence the unfamiliarity that I felt whilst reading this book. I think this is such a great book that showed me more of the Werewolf world and I feel extremely happy between the character progress and how this book turned out. :)

This book was totally different from the usual werewolf stories I read. But good different. It was refreshing to find an original story like this one, I got hooked instantly.
I loved the brutality of Grey, his typical alpha male dominance and authority were obvious but then how he kind of calmed it down for Meela's sake, after all he'd done to her, he had to. He felt the need to redeem himself and he did.
Meela is untameable, she is a wild fierce female constantly challenging her mate but the consequences of that broke her. And Grey has to fix what he broke.
And the whole side Story with Victoria and Fin just made it better.
I loved this story and thank you for sharing it with us.

Absolute garbage.
Gray is no alpha; he is a sick, vile, cruel jerk who knows deep down, he’s not good enough and never will be. The horrors he inflicted on Meela were abominable. Werewolves or not, abusive romances send a terrible message.
While I like the occasional trashy romance, this book
is indicative of Wattpad’s subpar offerings which glorify violent, abusive “relationships.”

Overall, I loved it. Even though there were times where I was bawling my eyes out into my pillow, it was such a refreshing and realistic view on a werewolf novel. I haven't gotten around to reading the second book!

If I could I would give this book 10 stars! Bare in mind that this is coming from the person who hates books about werewolves. I believe that this one is actually the first I finished. I didn't read it, I devoured it!
It's probably because this book is soooo much more then fantasy-romance-erotica! It is the story about everything that is wrong about a male and female relationship these days! It is obvious that we have gone against the nature a there are always consequences when someone does that. I see the whole werewolf part of the story as a metaphor...a method to easily state male and female roles in the obvious and a little extreme way. It was really bold move from the author to try this but she succeeded superbly!!! Bravo!! Writing was perfect!
It's needless to say that I'm a fan and that I'll be reading anything form miss Mills that I can get my hands on! ;)

This book was heartbreaking, but in a good way. Love how strong the females are in the beginning and then I wish they didn’t bow down but ya know, life is alllll about compromise. 10/10 recommend this author though, Bessa is my favorite and you can read it on Wattpad :) you can also read Odins prize which is right up there with Bessa.

Ok so I read this story because it was recommended to me by a friend it's a good story well written well connected with the rest of the series HOWEVER it seems that there's a pattern in all the author stories they all share the same themes domination abuse betrayal double standards heartbreak injustice and justified abuse and a cliche ending always the male lead is too powerful always dominated and always abusive one way or another and there is always the other woman problem in all of her stories
the other woman that the male lead character loves and respects more than his own soul mate and sometimes favours her over his soul mate to the point of rejecting his soul mate for her leaving the female lead feeling second best throughout the story and of course there's hardly any consequences for the male lead they always get what they want one way or another except for Borson's character form the story Bessa he's the only male lead that truly redeemed himself , its basically the same events in all of the stories just a different set up as for the endings again its really never what you'd want it to be many times its not fair this story in particular I found it too much if I'm being honest with you too much abuse too much injustice too much excuses for the male's disgusting actions too much double standards etc...
in the disclaimer of the story the author wrote that the characters are highly complex but i didn't find them complex they were just nasty there's nothing to the story besides provoking the readers with one abuse scene after the other and these scenes serve no purpose at all they're just there many scenes in the story made absolutely no sense all in all it wasn't a pleasant read the writing style was good interesting but the content was terrible especially the ending

This world is savage. Male wolves are above females. If you are a feminist, this may be a hard book to read.
Grey's Tribute immediately starts out with bad blood between two mates.
A series of unfortunate events has caused Grey to become something he never was supposed to be- an Alpha. His determination to be the best causes him to lose sight of what's important when it comes to his mate. He is a controlling male who demands perfection from his female.
Meela has had an easy life. She is from a pack who loves her and has a brother who gives her the world. Imagine how distraught she becomes when she discovers who her mate is.
These two wolves are stubborn to the core. All Meela wants is for Grey to see who she really is.
She constantly challenges him. All Grey wants is for Meela to be the Luna he needs. He constantly challenges her.

We all are in the gray! But Grey really is ... No alpha born , but no Beta either...So what is he ?Meela is a young and foolish girl , who has to learn were the line is between being proud and being stubborn ...You see a journey of a couple that has to learn who they are before they can truly can be together! They make a lot of bad choices but both grow while making them ! They didn’t have a easy journey but in the end they both are stronger and better persons !
Rachelle Mills is very unique and talented author! She has built all by herself a big fandom and community that she really care about!
All books that she writes are unique masterpieces withe a profoundness that truly gets to everyone that reads her work !

What the hell was that?
The H just about kills the h with his own hands, disfigures her for life BUT somehow he had the gall to trick her back into his life, get his former lover to get the h hooked on alcohol and then says TA-DA here I am, your prize? Was this a prank because I did NOT find that funny.
Nah. I didn't even finish this story I was so disgusted by a 'H'.
btw I put the illness/disability tag because 1. The H is really mentally ill and 2. The H is seriously mentally disabled.

It started really good but then in the middle somewhere it got really confusing. The MC had so confused feelings towards her destined love and I understand why but it was way to complicated.
Another thing that bugged me was that suddenly the whole story was 2 years in the future but no-one aced like it, so strange.

Read this on Wattpad. The entire Tribute series is excellent. Though it needs some fine tuning in the grammar department, when it’s finally published this series will be among the few prints I purchase.
