Just in time for Valentine's Day, an exciting reissue of all three novellas in the beloved Life, Love, and Babies series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Samantha Chase For anyone who's ever lost their heart to a man, or a baby...or both The Baby Arrangement Derek Sloan is more than shocked when someone mysteriously delivers a baby to his office. Kayleigh Mitchell naturally steps up to help her boss, and soon hopes he'll see her as more than just a temporary solution. Baby, I'm Yours When Nicole Taylor rediscovers the father of her child three years after their one wild night of passion, Josh Masterson is determined to prove there's still a chance for their own happily-ever-after. Baby, Be Mine Jake Knight came home one night to find trouble on his doorstep-times two. With infant twins to care for, Jake desperately calls on a heartbroken ex for help...and the more time he spends with Olivia, the more he wants this makeshift family to be permanent.
Samantha Chase is a New York Times and USA Today bestseller of contemporary romance that’s hotter than sweet, sweeter than hot. She released her debut novel in 2011 and currently has more than seventy titles under her belt – including THE CHRISTMAS COTTAGE which was a Hallmark Christmas movie in 2017! She’s a Disney enthusiast who still happily listens to 80’s rock. When she’s not working on a new story, she spends her time reading romances, playing way too many games of Solitaire on Facebook, wearing a tiara while playing with her sassy pug Maylene…oh, and spending time with her husband of 30 years and their two sons in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
This collection is my first time reading Samantha Chase and I'd happily read her work again. Sweet and heartwarming, with closed door intimacy, each short story brought a likeable couple and a family feel.
The Baby Arrangement - 3 stars
"In her wildest fantasies, she could never have imagined this - living with Derek Sloan, caring for sweet baby Emery."
This is a heartwarming take on the boss/employee trope is and whilst its short nature brings an insta-feel and I felt it was wrapped up a little too easily, both Kayleigh and Derek were very likeable characters and their interactions over the tiny girl left at his office were lovely bringing some touching moments. Baby, I'm Yours - 4 stars
"People had one-night stands all the time, didn't they? Why couldn't she?"
My favourite of the three, this didn't particularly offer anything new to the surprise! you're a dad trope, but it was romantic, had a great cast of characters and I loved Nikki, Josh and their daughter, Ellie together. It's the thing Hallmark movies are made of and was engaging from the start. Baby, Be Mine - 3.5 stars
"You deserve someone who can make you the centre of his world."
I'm quite partial to the older brother's best-friend trope and second-chance love and this has both. Storyline wise, there were some similarities to the first novella, and whilst it took a little longer to warm to Olivia and Jake, they did become a likeable couple. And with them balancing plenty of sexual tension around discovering what life with twins brings, this was an easy enjoyable read. For those readers who love stories about single dads or surprise babies, this book is for you. It's three novella's, each about a father who is suddenly and unexpectedly put in charge of taking care of, or helping with, a child, or in one case children, and how they deal with the new responsibilities thusly ending up finding the loves of their lives.
All three of these stories would fall in the category of instalove and everything is wrapped up rather quickly with little to no drama/angst so if you are looking for an emotional or angst filled read, you should pass this up. On the other hand if you are looking for some short, easy reads that will make you smile and keep your emotions at bay, this is definitely worth picking up.

This book contains 3 short stories about alpha men not only falling in love but raising babies.
Each story was different and while I liked them I didn't fall in love them. Since each story was a novella length is was a little difficult to get to know the characters and when it just started to happen it was over and on to the next one.
I would have liked it more if maybe the woman or the men in these books were somehow connected to each story but that wasn't the case.
In the first story the CEO ends up raising an abandoned baby that may or may not be his. He asked one of his employees he hardly knows and I mean this loosely because he doesn't even know her name, to move in and be a nanny. They fall in love and become a family.
In the next story a teacher is out and meets a guy has a one night stand and ends up pregnant. She then finds out he lied to her about his name and just so happens to be the brother of her best friends fiancé. He knows that's his kid and wants to get to know his daughter.
The final story is about a woman who had a crush on her brothers best friend. She is on a much needed break from work and her brother asks her to help out in raising twins that were just dropped off. Of course they live happily ever after.
I just didn't have a connection with the characters like I thought I would. The blurbs sounded great but overall it was just an okay read for me.

I love Samantha Chase. I love that her stories are very contemporary and realistic. They always feel like the main characters are easily people you know. I also like how her romance series are very family oriented, the way her characters fall in love but also put their families in the center of their lives.
This sweet little anthology is a collection of three novellas that have been previously released. However, there is no rule that these stories shouldn't be read again. In fact, I urge friends and romance fans to check the stories in this book. They are all very sweet love stories. And what's even sweeter? These stories all have babies in them. Who can say no to a beautiful baby, right? I truly enjoyed reading each story. I wasn't able to read them when they were released, but I'm glad I got the chance to enjoy them now. And what's more is that they are all in one book, and as a fan of Samantha Chase, this is just a great addition to my collection.
I loved all 3 books.. Babies and sexy as sin bachelor business men. One has a baby dropped off at his door, another finds out that he's a daddy 3 years after a hit as hell one night stand and the third baby daddy finds that he has become a daddy to twins. All 3 men find a way to be the best dad's that they can be and also find love in the ladies that care for their children. Baby, I'm Yours and Baby, Be Mine are sweet second chance romances. I couldn't put this book down..
A nice collection of short stories! Surprise! Here's a baby or in one case twins! Each story was quick, sweet, and heartwarming! The power of babies to bring romance!
The Baby Arrangement – When a baby is left at Derek's office, not only does he not know whose baby it is, but also how to care for it. Kaleigh enters his office and goes from one of his office staff to the baby's nanny in a blink of an eye. Through midnight feedings the sparks fly and a romance builds, but will it all fall apart when his brother and the baby's father returns and wants no part of the child? Or will Kaleigh get the baby and the man she wants too? Nothing better than a hot single man and a baby. This was a great book.
Baby I’m yours – This was a fabulous story of second chances and true love. After a one night stand, Nicole has a baby alone as she never got the guys last name. Fast forward almost three years and her best friend’s wedding is fast approaching. When she gets introduced to the best man, he turns out to be the baby's father. But can they make a relationship out of one Night of passion or is the dad going to get every other weekend visitation with his daughter. Another heartwarming second chance story filled with great characters and a storyline filled with love.
Baby Be Mine - When Olivia comes home for her month long sabbatical from work, she never thought she would end up helping Jake, the object of her school girl crush, it’s his week old twins that were left n his doorstep. But being the nanny also means late night feedings and close contact with Jake. When sparks fly will the relationship turn into one big family or will Jake push her away like he did when they were younger? This was an emotional read, filled with great characters and a beautiful story of finding not only love but family as well. Another awesome read.
In The Baby Arrangement a baby is dropped off on the doorstep of the business that Derek runs with his brother Brian. It is uncertain if that baby belongs to one of Derek's lovers or one of Brian's, but as Brian is out of the country, Derek takes care of the baby. He enlists the help of one of his employees, Kayleigh. Kayleigh grows close to Derek and the baby in a short time before they find out that the baby belongs to Brian. When Brian returns he does not want anything to do with the child. He gives up his rights to his brother and his brother proposes to Kayleigh and asks her to also adopt the baby.
In Baby, I'm Yours Nikki has a one night stand with Tyler, a guy she met at a bar right before moving back home. Years later she is raising her young daughter when her best friend and her husband come to visit her and bring the husband's brother along to introduce him and Nikki. The brother's name is Josh, but when he walks in Nikki's door she swears it is Tyler, she even pulls her best friend aside to tell her. Her friend assures her that her husband's brother is Josh and he must just look similar to Tyler. Josh acts standoffish after meeting Nikki and her daughter and then returns without his brother and brother's wife to confront Nikki about having his daughter. Josh tries to become a part of Nikki and Ellie's life. Nikki pushes him away before allowing him back again and admitting she loves him.
In Baby, Be Mine Jake is left to care for his twins unexpectedly. Liv, his best friend's sister, helps him take care of the children and they grow closer. She has had a crush on Jake since high school and Jake has also had a crush on her just as long. Liv leaves Jake and the twins to go back to her job as a high-profile photographer in California, but comes back after her brother tells her a little lie about Jake giving the twins up. Liv and Jake confess their love for each other and end up together.
From start to finish a delight to read. I love a romance which has drama and a touch of comedy and this book does both so well. If you are looking To be transported from every day life you won't be disappointed. I'm going to buy it as a Christmas present for my daughter.
"Who knew one little person could change a life so much?"
This was such a cute, little read!
I have such a soft spot for books involving children and this one was one of the sweetest!
Derek Sloan had no idea how his life would change when a baby was left at the front of his office building. He also didn't know that a certain woman who worked right under his nose would be the answer to his unspoken prayers.
Kayleigh stepped in when Derek didn't think he had anyone. She became this small baby's caretaker and slowly took up space in Derek's heart as well.
"I think the lines of fantasy and reality are started to get blurred."
I enjoyed this book very much!
It was a breath of fresh air!
I loved the chemistry between Kayleigh and Derek. The way they handled everything baby related. I even loved when they were overwhelmed, because that showed their willingness to work through it all.
Such a sweet story!
"She had done something to him in the last two weeks. She had not only saved him with the baby, but she had also shown him how much he was missing in his life. Some would say she'd saved him from himself."
Baby, I'm Yours
"He had already changed the course of her life with his own selfish behavior, and he was going to do all he could to recify that. He had a lot of time to make up for, and it had to start immediately."
Oh, how cute this story was!!
Nikki and Josh had a wonderful night three years prior that left them wanting more. Too bad they never got that chance...until now.
Without last names, or even a real first name given, Nikki could never find Josh to tell him that he was a father to a sweet little girl named Ellie. Now that he has ironically re-entered her life, she must come face to face with her past.
"Joshua? What are you doing here?" "I want to talk to you, Nicole, and you know why." "It's after midnight. Can't this wait until morning?" "No. I'm not going anywhere."
Even though three years had passed, Nikki and Josh couldn't shake each other. That one magical night they shared way back when still haunts their memories. And now that Josh knows he's created a beautiful child with Nikki, he can't let her go again.
I love how much Josh was striving to be the parent he never thought he would be. He was very career focused and never really saw himself settling down. But now, looking into the eyes of his daughter, that's all he really wanted. Plus, it gave him a chance to win the heart of the woman he could never really get over.
"To have found her, and to have found her with his child, filled him with emotions he'd never felt before. He just had to find a way to make it right, to make it all work out. For all three of them."
This story was really good!
I love the dynamic between all the characters and their willingness to try and make their lives better for their little one. It was very heartfelt:)
I almost wished there was more because I really enjoyed it!!! Very sweet read:)
"I had been looking for you. Waiting for you. There is no other woman for me, Nicole. Not now. Not ever. It's you."
Baby, Be Mine
"Who knew such tiny people could turn lives upside down so fast?"
I love second chance/friends to lovers romances!!
Olivia had spent most of her life attracted to a guy she thought she couldn't have. It was her brother's best friend, Jake. On her 18th birthday, the took the plunge and made a move...only to be shoved away, literally.
Now, years later, Jake needs her help. It seems he became a father overnight to twins and he can't do it alone. He needs the one person he trusts more than anyone besides his best friend.
Let the games begin....
"For years he tried to forget her, but he never could. She was always there in the back of his mind."
I loved the push and pull/give and take situation they had going on. She was still feeling the hurt of rejection from all those years ago, but couldn't stop the love she suddenly felt for those sweet babies...and Jake.
He fought hard not to let his attraction to Olivia cloud his mind from doing his best for his children, but she was quickly becoming the missing piece to his crazy puzzle.
"I'm still not going anywhere." "Olivia, I'm telling you a relationship of any kind between us would be wrong." "So you're saying that I should just forget that I have feelings for you? That I never had feelings for you?...It's not gonna happen." "But--" "Let me worry about what's right and what's wrong for me, okay?"
This book had so much heart!
I think I was falling in love with those babies myself!! ;)
I loved this storyline so much! Olivia and Jake were a match made in heaven, but they needed time to grow up and find themselves, and each other, again.
So sweet!
"I just can't believe you're actually here and I'm really touching you." "I feel the exact same way."
LIFE, LOVE & BABIES TRILOGY - THE BABY ARRANGEMENT/BABY, I'M YOURS/BABY, BE MINE are three contemporary novels that have babies front and center along with parents in many shapes and forms that love them and care for them. They all have happily ever afters and nice closure even if it doesn't look like it would happen. Who can resist stories with babies in them? Not me!
Chase's THE BABY ARRANGEMENT is full of twists and turns when a baby ends up being left in Derek's office and he's not sure if it's his or his brother Brian's who loves nothing more than to travel and seek adventure. When Kayleigh, who works in customer service, takes matters into her own hands to quiet the baby since she doesn't stop crying and everyone in the office can hear her, she's recruited to become the temporary nanny until Derek can figure things out as well as get in touch with his brother. It was interesting to watch Derek slowly learn about Emery and her needs and wants and how he absorbed everything Kayleigh showed him. Of course he still has a business to run and that's when things get a little dicey between he and Kayleigh. There is an attraction between them that they both try to fight but eventually give in to and all seems right with the world, but is it?
There's family, friends, anxiety, fear, tears, hurts, happiness, laughter, romance and love. The prologue sets the stage with Valentine's Day around the corner and Kayleigh once again wanting nothing to do with the holiday. The epilogue gives me the closure and happily ever after I was looking for.
BABY, I'M YOURS has single mom Nicole and her toddler daughter, Ellie, front and center along with her best friend Denise and her fiancé, David. Ellie was the result of a one night stand that Nicole never forgot. The prologue gives us the background information and fills in a lot of the details. There are a myriad of wedding plans to get through with Denise as well as with David and his brother, Joshua who is the best man, that she's never met. When they do meet sparks fly and there's a history between them that makes the story even better. Watching all the interactions between the characters and the love that is shared is heartwarming. There are misunderstandings, secrets, desire, love, romance, laughter, hurts, fear, tears and lots of love. The epilogue gives nice closure and seals the happily ever after.
BABY, BE MINE gives the history between Jake and Olivia especially in the prologue. He's her brother Mike's best friend plus there's six years between them in age so she was always untouchable. They have feelings for the other that neither knows about and when they are thrown together to care for his twins that he knew nothing about and are given to him by his ex-fiancé for a lump sum things do get interesting after she stops fighting the inevitable of course. Watching them keep their distance, get together and then keep their distance once again is heartbreaking. Olivia teaches Jake what he needs to know to care for his son and daughter and they make a good team at least temporarily. The interactions between them had their ups and downs and his sometimes callous treatment of her was painful. When her time is up and she has to leave to go back to her job and her life in LA it was heart-rending for all involved. There is a happily ever after and nice closure along with an epilogue that was heartwarming.
Chase is an author whose books I enjoy. I have previously read the MONTGOMERY BROTHERS SERIES and the first book in the SHAUGHNESSY BROTHERS SERIES as well as several other books. I look forward to reading many more of her books and like how some are now reissues in two in one or three in one books.
The Baby Arrangement This was a quick, a little cheesy read which will highly entertain you as the author takes you though the steps at times humorous read. Finding a baby placed in ones office. Not knowing who the daddy is and not knowing what to do with it. One lady comes to the rescue but said lady has had a long time crush on said man. You end up with the woman teaching one man a lot about love, life and happiness.
I really enjoyed this story. Derek has no clue how to take care of this baby doesn’t even know if it is his. He can’t find his brother or the baby’s mother. With one screaming infant and not a clue he is so thrilled when a women runs into his office to calm down the infant. He talks her into coming home and helping him take care of the little dear. Derek just wants his life to go back the way it was, he is a hard worker with little down time. He really is a sweetheart of a man who just needs to let loose a little. Kayleigh just might be the one to teach him what is important in his life. She is a kind sweet woman who falls not only for the man but the baby as well. It is a tug of war to keep her life separate from these two who she has fallin in love with.
Baby, I’m Yours I enjoyed this although I thought Josh was blamed more than he should have. It wouldn’t have mattered whether she had is first name or not she would not have found him. I love second chance romance this was a delightful one. It is a pretty clean read it is nice to not always read each detail about what happens behind closed doors. This is a plot that many authors have written about but does have a new look on it. I thought this was a great read and couldn’t put the book down.
I loved Josh he was a true gentleman and did try to find her which she didn’t. I thought the author wrote a great story line with two people having a one nightstand and finding each other years later. Nicole is a sweetheart and her daughter is a sweetie. Here is a story after your own heart with wonderful characters you can relate to. I loved the ending it is just a sweet pleasant story.
Baby Be Mine This is just one of the sweetest love stories that makes you smile and feel warm and gooey inside. It is a sweet clean read full of passion. There is no doubt these two have a powerful chemistry pull that has been there for years. The author grabs your heartstring from the start and holds them throughout the read. The ending has your heart in your mouth and you saying NO NO NO this can’t be. Than the author throws a little twist to bring it all home to give you a wonderful heartwarming romance.
When your best friend has twins dumped on his doorstep the only thing left to do is call your little sister for help. When that sister had her heart crushed by the best friend years ago she doesn’t want to have anything to do with it. The pull of the twins and her brother makes her take on the job of helping out with the twins. Not much has changed from years ago she still has a crush on her brothers best friend. One thing leads to another and life just got complicated. Which made this one of the best reads that is hard to put down. I loved it.
I thought this set of books were outstanding each one are page turners that you do not want to put down. The stories were well written and highly entertaining. Some have been written before by other authors with a different twist which makes them winners in my book. They are heartwarming clean reads full of passion that make you all warm and fuzzy. I have never read anything by this author but look forward to reading more from her.
First up we have a three for one. The Baby Arrangement/ Baby, I'm Yours/ Baby Be Mine three very cute books about babies and falling in love. My favorite out of the three would have to be Baby, I'm Yours and that all because Josh. Samantha Chase is a easy read, I zipped through these in no time. They were enjoyable and babies, so cute.
The Baby Arrangement: Derek Sloane is carrying on the legacy his grandparents started, his younger brother is living the high life. Kaleigh Mitchell got her degree in interior design, but the job she took as customer service rep was just suppose to be temporary. Here she is years later still doing the same thing and fantasizing about her boss. Until one day a baby is dropped off at the office naming one of the Slone brothers the father but not specifying which one. Derek has no idea if it's his or his bother's. While he is arguing with his secretary the baby is crying non-stop, unable to stand the sound of a crying baby anymore Kayleigh walks into Derek's office and tries to calm the baby. Derek is desperate and offers Kayleigh a temporary job of live in nanny for the baby. At the price Derek names Kayleigh figures she could finally start her own business. Derek and Kayleigh of course fall in love, Kayleigh was half way there to begin with but seeing Derek with the baby and making an effort to be a father.
This was a cute one, a little bit of heartache and a sweet baby.
Baby, I'm Yours: Nicole celebrating her graduation goes out for a night of fun before her dream job interview. She meets a handsome man and they click and they spend the night together. Nicole slightly ashamed of herself slips off in the middle of the night, that one night changes everything. Three years later Nicole's best friends are finally getting married. They get together for dinner one night so they can introduce Nicole to the best man, Nicole is stunned to find out that he is her baby daddy. Josh is very mature about the whole thing he wants to step up and be in his daughter's life without taking her away from her mother. He wants to start a new life with both of them, he never forgot about Nicole and he accepted full responsibility for the whole thing. Nicole is worried about what his parents will think about her and afraid Josh will leave and break both their hearts.
This was such a nice one. I wish I had a Josh of my own.
Baby, Be Mine: Olivia made a fool of herself on her eighteenth birthday when she kissed her brothers best friend Jake only to be rejected. Ever since she has gone out of her way to avoid him. Olivia is on a break from work, she is reevaluating her life when her brother calls frantic and in desperate need of help. Jake's ex-fiance dropped off the twins she never told him she had and asked for money in return to sign away her parental rights. Jake always wanted a family but he has no clue how to deal with twins. Olivia only agrees to help because if she doesn't her mother who just went through hip surgery will come up from Phoenix to do it. Jake refuses to hire a nanny and has to juggle working from home and helping with the babies. Jake reveals to Olivia he has always liked her and he wasn't rejecting her all those years ago when he pushed her away he saw her brother coming down the stairs and didn't want his butt kicked for making out with her. Both Jake and Olivia have to reevaluate their lives, whether Olivia will stay and spend her life with Jake and the babies or if she will continue her Hollywood photographer lifestyle.
As a set, these three are great reads. They are fast, fun, and highly entertaining. the baby arrangement Quick Summary: A baby has been left at Derek's office, and he doesn't know if it's his or his brother's. Of course, brother is out of the country, leaving Derek to fumble with the baby until things are sorted. Kayleigh has been secretly crushing on her boss, and when the baby is in the office and crying, she can't help but step in to take care of it. Derek offers her a great deal: be his nanny until things are sorted and he'll pay a ridiculous amount of money. What I liked: it was quick and fun. I enjoy an office romance (although it kind of loosely applies to this situation). Kayleigh is a girl you can admire. What I didn't care for: Derek kind of does the right thing by making sure the baby is taken care of, but once the nanny is in place, he pretty much is absent. This had me a little upset. He doesn't make much effort to connect with the baby at first, and I wasn't happy with him. Overall, I felt like there could be more character development to this story. If it had been a full novel and given time to really connect with the characters, it would have been great. I do still recommend this story. I just wish there was more to it.
Baby i'm yours I loved this story! Nicole is just a single mom trying to do best by her daughter. And she's such a cutie! She's helping her best friend plan her wedding when she runs into the man who she had one wild night with... the father of her child. She never even had his real name, so he's in shock when he realizes he's a father. This is a great feel-good story. Nicole and Josh are just wonderful, and you are rooting for them to succeed through the whole story. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop. The characters were well developed and I fell in love with them all. It's like a nice warm hug.
baby be mine A great story of reconnecting. What would you do if your high school crush needed your help? Could you step up? I don't think I could. But The chemistry is great, the story is touching. Jake and Olivia have such a fascinating history. They shared a kiss, once upon a time. She thought he was repulsed by her, so she fled, left the state and began a life on the other side of the country. She returns home for a mental vacation, just to be summoned by her brother for help. If she doesn't help her brother's best friend, her mom would leave her life to come care for Jake and his twins. The two spend some time bumping heads. It takes some time for Jake to come around, but he's a good guy. This was, I think, my favorite story in the set. I received a copy of this story from the publisher for an honest review.
Originally reviewed for www.buriedunderromance.com THE BABY ARRANGEMENT/BABY, I’M YOURS/ BABY, BE MINE is a collection of three novellas by bestselling author Samantha Chase. Unlike the usual romance novels, there are babies involved in every story, and like a lot of romance novels, the stories are enjoyable but predictable. In the first of the novellas, THE BABY ARRANGEMENT, Kaleigh Mitchell works in the customer service department of a design company owned by the Sloan Brothers, Derek and Brian. When a crying baby is dropped off at the office for the Sloan brothers, Kaleigh uses her babysitting experience to calm the infant. This leads to an arrangement between Derek and Kaleigh that has her helping with the baby until it is determined who the father is and appropriate accommodations can be made. Of course, Derek and Kaleigh are immediately attracted to each other which further complicates the situation. In the second novella, BABY, I’M YOURS, Nicole Taylor is raising her two year old daughter alone when she lacks any information that would allow her to locate the father of her child after an intense one night stand. Her best friends are getting married, however, and she is shocked to find out that her mystery man is the Best Man. She wants her daughter to grow up knowing her father, but how can she reconcile the fact that he lied to her on that fateful night and, even worse, that she was still attracted to him with the same intensity that got her into this situation in the first place? The last novella of the trilogy, BABY, BE MINE, again deals with a bachelor suddenly being given a surprise gift from a former flame, but in this case, it is infant twins! Jake Knight’s best friend Mike calls his sister to help care for the twins, not knowing that his sister has always had a crush on Jake. She agrees to help, but only for a short time because she has her own thriving photography business. She didn’t realize, however, that Jake has also had a crush on her. Bring on the complications! All three stories in this trilogy are delightful, especially if you love babies. While they occasionally get a bit bogged down with the everyday care of the infants, the characters are likeable and the situations plausible. If I had a complaint, it would be with the novella format and not with the author or the stories. The format is just too short to allow for in-depth character and plot development. As it is, each of these stories will make a quick, endearing read in one-sitting for lovers of sweet romances. Enjoy! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is the three book set of The Baby Arrangement series. And wow does Samantha Chase know how to write a series which revolves around love, babies, and potential marriage. These three books brings us a new set of characters with individual challenges in each book. What amazing characters, they are brought to life off the pages of each and every book in this series. I certainly hope this author writes more books that revolve around babies. They do make amazing stories.
I first discovered Samantha Chase with her recent series, The Shaughnessy Brothers. I enjoyed the book, and when I saw this reissue of some older works, I took second look. Ya'll know I love me some novellas, so I had to give this one a try.
The Baby Arrangement - When a baby is dropped off at the office where she works, Kayleigh can't stand to listen to it cry and goes to comfort the baby. Derek doesn't know if the child is his or his brother's, but he steps up to take responsibility. Derek, Kayleigh's boss whom she has had a serious crush on for years, hires her as a nanny while he searches for his brother. The enforced proximity not only deepens Kayleigh's crush into love, but opens Derek's eyes to what's been in front of him all along.
Baby, I'm Yours - Josh and Nicole had one amazing night of connection and passion. Except Josh gave a false name and Nicole skipped out early the next morning, leaving each of them in the dark of how to track down and contact the other. Three years later, they once again meet when her best friend marries his brother. And the truth of the consequences of that night are revealed in one very precocious 2 year old. They are both going to have to work on their trust issues, if they are going to have their Happily Ever After.
Baby, Be Mine - Olivia had a thing for her older brother's best friend Jake, and puts a move on him on her 18th birthday. When he rejects her, Olivia spends the next 8 years doing her absolute best to avoid him at all costs. Right up until, on one of her rare trips home, her mom and brother guilt trip her into helping Jake with the newborn twins his ex-fiance dropped on his doorstep. Living with and showing Jake how to take care of the twins, rekindles their former friendship; except now they are both adults and on more even footing. What started out as temporary assistance, turns into something much more. The only problem? Olivia is only there for a few weeks, and then she has to go back to work hundreds of miles away.
These stories aren't connected by anything other than the author and the topic of babies. Each one takes a different formula and really shows us what the author has to offer. All three of the stories in this series were nicely done, though I think that Baby, Be Mine was my favorite. I gave this book 3 stars.
Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read and review the book.

I am a huge fan of Samantha Chase’s current books. So when I saw this reprint of some of her older books, I jumped at the chance to read them.
While not as good as her newer material, I can certainly enjoy the author’s great writing skills and see the beginnings of her use of unusual plot and character developments . Inside this book, I found three novellas that were short and fun to read. Even though I have seen the plots before, Ms. Chase manages to put a slightly new spin on each one.
Even though the characters in these stories are not as well-developed as those in Ms. Chase’s newer books, I fell in love with Josh Masterson in Baby, I’m Yours. In the beginning of the story, we are led to believe that he is a player who uses and discards women regularly. However, when we finally meet him, Josh is a loving, caring and sensitive person who falls in love with his new-found daughter and wants to marry Nicole Taylor.
In The Baby Arrangement, Derek Sloan is very one-dimensional in the beginning of the story. But we clearly see his character change and develop throughout the story. His heroine, Kayleigh Mitchell, seems very meek and unassuming in the beginning of the book especially when we realize that she has spent ten years in customer service, even though she is a college graduate, because she has a crush on her boss. However, when she moves in with Derek, who is overwhelmed with the drop-off of a surprise baby, she is anything but. It is so much fun to watch the change in both of them as she yells at Derek for his superficial, uncaring behavior.
In the last story, Baby Be Mine, Jack Knight finds out that he is the father of twins when his ex gives them to him. Jack is overwhelmed until his best friend manages to convince his sister, Olivia, to help take care of the./ Jack has known Olivia all of her life, but treats her so badly on her eighteenth birthday, that she refuses to ever see him again. Truthfully, I had a hard time liking either of these characters because their actions never seemed to match their real feelings. There were so many misunderstandings and so much miscommunication that I had trouble finding any attraction between the two.
I would most definitely recommend this book. The stories are cute and easy to read. For those who like clean short, books this is definitely a must-read.
The Baby Arrangement What an absolutely fun Valentine story. You see the progression of a longing that is finally fulfilled but not exactly the way Kayleigh Mitchell had always dreamed about. Derek Sloan never knew Kayleigh existed but once he does he can’t forget her or let her go. Or can he? Not strictly because he seriously needs her to help care for this baby. Two hearts collide at the right time. I give this 4 stars.
Baby, I'm Yours Very cute story. Interesting concept how the author takes something we all dream about cutting lose one or another, even not being ourselves for just one night. You know to not have to worry about anything except the moment. But like everything else it comes with a consequence. In this case in the form of a child Ellie nine months later. The only thing is even with Nicole Taylor and Josh Masterson feeling emotionally bonded and feeling that their hearts had connected forever during their one night of pure passion. They had only exchanged first names. Problem #1: One of them gave a false first name and had a fiancée. Problem #2: One skipped out while the other was sleeping leaving no note or number. I give this 4 stars.
Baby, Be Mine When love steals your heart, fate throws you a mean curveball, and circumstances says, “Come on boys let’s shake these two up a little.” You’re in trouble. That is what happens to this last couple Olivia and Jake. They grew up together. He is 6 years old than she is and her Brother Mike’s friend. On her 18th birthday she takes charge and steals a kiss from him in the garage during her birthday party. He starts to go along with it then pushes her away and gives her a look of disgusts. Eight years later he is thrust into fatherhood when he happens to be home when his ex-fiancée turns over his twins to him. Mike calls her for help when she is home visiting. Really? See how sideways this can go quick. I give this 4 stars.
Overall, found the books fun to read and they are fun for Valentine's day. But the guys were all Alpha Males during personal crisis yet they sure did a lot of whining. Personal choices are hard. Better to make before the wrong one comes back to bite you in the a--. Good thing about these stories is that they had strong women there to support and back their play. I give these books 4 stars overall. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at: www.1rad-readerreviews.com.
The Baby Arrangement Kayleigh Mitchell was having a Normal day at work until she hears a lot of yelling and than a baby crying coming form her boss' office. Derek Sloan was having anything but a normal day, as that morning a baby was dropped off at his company with a note saying that baby was now his responsibility. Not having a clue what to do with a baby or if he was even its father, he started to freak out. After a while Kayleigh could not stand listening to the baby cry anymore and went to go and see if she could help. Little did she know that waking into her boss' office that day would end up changing her life, possibly forever. This was such I great story. It was heart melting. I Loved the characters and the storyline. I read it in one evening, I could not put it down!!
Baby, I'm Yours Nikki was a good girl, focused on her education, work, just doing what was right. One night she decided to go against her norm, let loose a bit. That's when she met a gorgeous man and ends up having a one night stand. After finding out she was pregnant and not knowing how to find him again, she thought he was gone for good. Until one day he comes walking right back into her life. Josh was surprised to see Nicole, a women he thought about a lot from three years ago, also discovering he has a daughter. Watching them work things out while their story unfold was heart warming. This was another great story!!
Baby, Be Mine Olivia has had a crush on her brother's best friend Jake for years. One day her brother calls her to tell her there is an emergency he and Jake need her help. She has not seen Jake in years, even moved away to avoid him. Even though it's the last thing she wants to do she goes over to find out what's wrong. Jake is freaking out he just found out he has infant twins and their mother just dropped them off with him and took off. Not knowing how to take care of a baby let alone two babies, his best friend calls his sister Olivia to come help. Against her better judgment Olivia decides to help. Seeing how this story played out was great. I Loved this story as well, made me smile!!
Three completely different yet great stories packed into one amazing book!!! Once you pick this book up you will not want to put it down until all three stories are read!!! The lack of sleep was totally worth it!!!
The Baby Arrangement; Baby, I'm Yours; Baby, Be Mine by Samantha Chase
The Baby Arrangement - Kayleigh works in customer service at Sloan Designs. She has a crush on the CEO, Derek. One day, Kayleigh hears a baby crying in Derek's office. No one seems to be helping calm the baby. So Kayleigh goes to Dereks office to help. Derek is surprised by this woman who would walk into his office and know what to do with a crying baby. He needed her help. This is a quick read. The story is fantastic! I loved it!
Baby, I'm Yours - Nikki has just graduated college and is out celebrating before she interviews for a job and moves away. She connects with a man across the way. They have instant chemistry and don't want the night to end. Three years later, Nikki is a single mom to Ellie. Josh will never forget Nicole from three years ago. One night, he goes with his brother David and his fiancee Denise to meet the maid of honor Nikki. Another quick read. I loved this story and had a hard time putting it down.
Baby, Be Mine - Olivia is in love with her old brothers best friend Jake. On her 18th birthday, she finally makes her dream come true. But it doesn't go as planned. 8 years later, Olivia is back home on vacation when she's called to Jake's house for an emergency. Jake doesn't know what to do. He's the father of twins. He has no clue what to do. His best friend calls his sister, Olivia, to come help. Love this story!
All three stories in this book are excellent. I loved every bit of them. The writing is great and it flowed seamlessly. Each story is read as a standalone and told in both male and female perspectives. The character development in each story was strong. It was easy to connect with them. All around great book. Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon an Alpha.
I loved this collection of short stories about three men and the women who become their heroes when presented with babies and coming to terms with being an instant father.
In the Baby Announcement - Derek Sloan doesn't know what to do when a baby is left at his office with a note, telling him the baby is his. If it hasn't been for Kayleigh Mitchell matching into his office and taking over. Derek isn't ready to be a father... if the child is even his. His life has always been business first. But with Kayleigh stepping in and taking care of the baby and him while he figures this all out... could he have been missing out and really want a family of his own.
In Baby, I'm Yours - Nicole Taylor has never had a one night stand, until she met Tyler on night and really felt connected with him. Now three years later, she can't believe with Josh Masterson walks into her living room... except Josh is Tyler, who just so happens to be the father of her baby from that one night stand. Can she trust Josh to step up and be the father she always wanted for her little girl. Could their connection still be there, even after all these years?
In Baby, Be Mine - Jake Knight gets the shock of his life when his ex-fiance leaves not one but two babies he never knew existed. He needs help and now. The only person he can get is Olivia, his best friend's little sister, whom he hasn't talked too in over 8 years... He's always liked her and he thought she felt the same way, but after the cold shoulder she gave him, he isn't quite so sure. She's only in town for a month. Can he convince her that he needs her for more than just taking care of Maddie and Ben?
I loved each of these stories. Short, sweet with a bit of angst and the cutest of babies. Makes for a great quite summer read.
This one is a compilation containing three stories that are brought together in that they all contain love stories involving children.
The Baby Arrangement is about businessman Derek Sloan who is taken by suprise when a baby is dropped off at his office. His salvation comes in the form of Kayleigh Mitchell, a customer service rep at his company who steps in to help him care for the child
Baby, I'm Yours is the tale of Nicole Taylor a good girl, who had a one night stand with a man whose last name she didn't even know. Only to find out six weeks later that she was pregnant. Josh Masterson spent the night with a mystery woman who he hadn't been able to forget after three years. Imagine their surprise when they meet again and it turns out her best friend is marrying his brother. In Baby, Me Mine Olivia is torn on how to handle the situation when her brother calls her up to beg for her assistance in an emergency. The emergency? He teenage crush has just had twin babies dropped off at his doorstep and has no idea how to handle them.
These are three sweet romances that shouldn't be missed.
I received this copy of The Baby Arrangement/Baby, I'm Yours/Baby, Be Mine by Samantha Chase from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This anthology contains the complete series Life, Love and Babies. three short, fun novellas that prove that baby does indeed change lives.
You’ll find a bit of sorta insta-love, a second chance love and two crushes that went unacknowledged back then now have another chance to blossom.
While I enjoyed all three stories, I’ll admit my favorite has to be Baby, I’m Yours. Come on, who hasn’t dreamed, at least for a moment, of cutting loose, living totally in the moment with no fear and no regrets. This couple did just that and there were consequences and complications galore.
I believe if you love any story involving innocent babies, watching a grown man being taken down a few pegs by said baby and the strong women who come to their rescues – then you’ll enjoy this anthology. Three short stories, a bunch of feels and a lot of heart – what’s not to love about that?
*I received an e-ARC of The Complete Series Life, Love and Babies from the publisher, Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
Stars-wise I gave the novellas in The Baby Arrangement / Baby, I'm Yours / Baby, Be Mine, by Samantha Chase, 3, 3, and 2. I reviewed each individually here, here, and here. Would I recommend this book? If you're in the mood for some very light romance that involves kids, then yes, otherwise no. I just didn't think these stories were strong enough for varying reasons to evoke much emotion. In fairness, I find that problem in novellas in general, so maybe you'll like this collection. I'm torn between giving it 2 and 3 stars because I really am middle of the road on this one.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The Baby Arrangement is a sweet, feel good, fantasy becomes reality story with great characters. An employee in love with the boss, the boss oblivious until she makes herself indispensable. It is well written and once you start reading it, you can't put it down. Baby I'm Yours is a sweet getting together years after a one night stand story. He'll do whatever it takes to make them a family and prove himself trustworthy. She finds her heart melting when he happily accepts their daughter and starts being daddy immediately upon meeting her. Baby Be Mine is a perfect storm story. Olivia is home taking a break from her life when her childhood crush has his twin babies deposited on his doorstep. She gets guilted into helping him take care of them and they create a family that neither of them wants to give up. These are great characters that are very likable and an inspiring story.
