Thrown into the system before he could talk Dulce, not your average teen is forced to make ends meet. His life isn’t the best but he wouldn’t change it for the world. He breathes for the streets because it’s all he knows. Alongside him is his best friend Daquan and his younger brother Katana. Follow the trio as a night of pain leads them into an unexpected run in with love, lust, and family.
This was a great read. The cover grabbed my attention and the synopsis drew me into the story. I finished the book in one sitting. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat. I didn't really care for Dulce at first, but he ended up being my favorite by the end of the book. I look forward to reading more works by this author.
