This book does an (umbrella term) okay job at saying what behavior is okay and what isn't, but in terms of safety, it does not deliver. It's only in "safety" sinch behavior is a prerequisite of "safety." The monkey climbed the tree and fell and doesn't get hurt, the monkey throws a banana down and trips the child despite the fact that bananas don't do that, and one of the main characters sits on the monkey and scolds him despite the fact that sitting on another child is definitely not okay.
