4.5 One nice thing about the set-up is that Adrienne's efforts to rescue all her sisters allows for a lot of different interactions. here she's dealing with Angoisse, a boy-crazy princess whose hot new boyfriend wants to drag Adrienne back to her father in chains. Will Angoisse go for it? Plus a lot of comedy with goblins in the swamp.
Princesses can be knights in shining armor, a dragon can be her best friend, and being yourself can be your happily ever after.
Every fairytale trope is flipped in this series and it’s amazing. The characters are hilarious, the drawing style is entertaining, and every book is a delightful surprise. I really can’t say enough nice things about this series. I recommend that everyone reads it!!
