"Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was born a long time ago in Makkah. He was from the family of Ibrahim (Peace be upon him)."
This is one in a set of board books on the prophets. The story of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is told briefly in easy to understand language and the illustrations are soft and kind of pretty in their own way.
It's a hard task to condense the prophets' stories into a short picture book in a way that captures the awesomeness of the story and also the attention of the young reader. This one, I feel, does a really good summary of the main events of seerah, mostly focussing on the Mekki period.
Although there's nothing majorly wrong with these books, I don't know how they really appeal to young kids, especially a board book audience. This one has quite a lot of text on each page so is more suited for 3 years+ at least.
Unlike the others in this series, the figure of the Prophet (SAW) is not seen. All the pictures are scenery, animals or other people in the scene (without names).
