I fell in love with these "The Paragon Series"... High Interest 1.. so book 2 was a must read and it did not disappoint.
The story picks up where it left off in book one and Lauren & Gabe have still the steam rolling of the pages . The twists and turns in this book are dangerously exciting and keeps you on your toes trying to figure out the story. Can't wait to read the next one !

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Wow, and the suspense continues! This book was hot and has some steamy sex scenes. This is the second book in the High-Stakes Billionaires series. This was a different storyline, and it kept me reading to the end to find out what happened. I was enthralled with the characters of Lauren Taylor and Gabriel (Gabe) Betts and the banter between the two. Gabe is the sexy, handsome alpha billionaire who is very possessive and he wants to protect Lauren, but since Lauren is stubborn and also a billionaire, Gabe has a hard time trying to protect Lauren from danger and from a treacherous individual. For someone to be a genius, Lauren was somewhat naïve about what happens in the “real” world—I guess that is what happens when you become a recluse and her only focus is what is happening in her lab. This storyline is full of suspense, action, mystery, romance, and intrigue that it will pique your interest—you will not be disappointed. Leigh is a very good writer, and this story is well written. I cannot wait to read book 3.

I read this book via Kindle Unlimited.
I read the first book as an ARC and I have been patiently waiting to see what happened.
Author Leigh James brought us another well written story. The continuation of Lauren and Gabe's fight to get Lauren's life's work to market. Along the way she learns to love but will she be able let people in or keep them at a distance.
This story is filled with plenty of emotions and I worried about Lauren as if she wasn't a fictional character.
OUTSTANDING JOB. She kept me wanting more and I instantly went on to book 3.

Great read
Really good series lots to keep the interest going .Lauren and Gabe are both strong characters and their attraction to each other comes over really strongly . There is a lot happening within the story that holds your interest and plenty of hot steamy sex what more could you want. Great read.
