Mysterious twins…

Identical twins Myra and Cara couldn't be more different. A shy introvert who prefers cat sitting to wild parties, Myra is Cara's polar opposite. Cara has a boisterous manner and never misses out on the hottest attractions Harbor View has to offer. However, when it comes to their looks - black, sparkling eyes and long, dark hair, the two are often confused. And because of this the residents in their small Cape Cod town have come to view them as mysterious.

They are, but not because of their uncanny likeness. They're witches.

In agreement that magic is only to be used when absolutely necessary, Myra and Cara go about their lives happy that autumn, the most magical season of all, is upon them.

But when Myra checks in on one of the cat's she's sitting, the twins discover its owner, Mr. Templeton lying dead on the beach behind his house.

He wasn't due back for days, the living room has been trashed, and his poor cat, Bandit is a nervous ball of fur.

The twins will have to hone their spells to catch the killer. But what if the killer is just like them?

Cara and Myra are identical twins with opposite personalities. Cara is outgoing, Myra is introverted. They live together in a a Victorian on the beach at Cape Cod.

Cara is a professional Make up artist while Myra is a cat sitter. When of the pet's owner turns up dead a search for the missing cat turns into the sisters sleuthing to discover the killer.
Myra is an elemental witch while Cara is a spells and potions witch. They were raised by their grandmother who died when they were 12, then ....

This book is the set up for a series, and while it does have an ending there are a lot of loose threads of the story left unresolved.

The book has a few minor grammatical errors

This is a cute, quick, easy read about twin sisters. They not only look alike and dress alike but they are witch's one is quiet who rather sit and take care of cats while the other one goes out on the town . The sisters are young and just learning how their powers work when they come across one of the pet owners body. So now the sisters use their powers and try to find the killer before he/she finds them.

This cozy mystery stars twins Myra and Cara. Not only are they identical twins, they are also witches. In this story they have to learn how to harness their power so that they can catch a killer.
I enjoyed the story and have added the second book to my TBR list.

Fairly weak witch mystery

This mystery is well edited, and almost professional in writing style. What it is missing is interesting characters, any real mystery building, humor or romance. I will not be continuing with this series, though I wish the author well.
