I read about half of this textbook for Geology at The Master's University. The chapters were a good length, and they had tons of illustrative pictures. The explanations were comprehensive, yet not overly difficult to understand. Finding definitions was easy. It answered many questions I had about the Earth. I'm gonna keep this textbook because it will be helpful to have around. The only downside is that it's very expensive to buy new, so I bought mine off eBay for a fourth of the new price.
