Who is Jude Jackson? On the surface, Jude mirrors a man who has it all from his beautiful wife−exquisite home−top of the line cars and a career that compensates him royally. Everyone that comes in contact with Jude envies him and lusts for all that he has. They are of course on the outside looking in and don’t have a clue about the man behind the mask. Jude has deep, dark secrets that no one knows about except for his right-hand man Kyrie. Kyrie noticed major changes in his friend Jude and can't quite put his finger on it. In the beginning, it appeared the money was causing him to appear unfamiliar but this go around it was different once Jude’s true colors surface. The mask is removed and replaced with gluttony and he doesn't care who he tramples over in the process of him getting what he wants. This causes him to lose sight of all of good he has in his life. To make matters worse, Jude courts the one person Kyrie asked him to stay away from, his sister Samone. With betrayal on his lips, Jude thinks he's having his cake and eating it too until he does the unthinkable to Samone.
How far will greed take him at the same time that he’s Playing Games While Keeping Secrets?
This was a very enjoyable read. I despised Jude from the very beginning, and I'm glad that he got what he deserved. It was a shame the way that he treated those women. I was starting to get pissed at them for him allowing him to treat them that way. Thank goodness Kyrie finally figured out what was really going on. Kudos to the author on her debut novel. I look forward to reading more from her in the near future.
Playing games while keeping secrets, this book lived up to it's title. This book was good from the beginning I could not wait to see where this story was going to take me.Boy did it take me for a ride that I enjoyed with all the secrets, lies and the drama. The ending I saw coming Jude was going to get his,and boy did he.He deserved everything he got. This book was worth more than 5 stars.I absolutely loved this book.
This book took me through a lot of emotions. It was a good story line but some parts were boring and seemed unnecessary. Jude was just too over the top and it just made no since. Star went from a good girl who did everything the right way to find out she was a homicidal maniac. It just didn't fit with the story. It might be good if you want to go through the trouble to try and figure it all out.
This book had me all in my feelings. These women allowed this ONE man to talk his way into their lives and bank accounts. I wanted to choke slam all of them. Kyrie was very smart and I was glad he figured Jude out. He got what he deserved. And for his dad to pay these women off to keep quiet. His mom warned him. Great Job
