Another nonstop thrill ride from Ahern. If you like over the top men’s adventure then this is highly recommended. Nazis, nuclear warheads, a mad man’s plot for world domination, and a larger than life hero, what more could you ask for?

"The President will be the first to die."With a tag line like that, I had to read on. Jerry Ahern kicks off the action right off the bat, and never lets up. Dan Track is up against his old enemy, Johannes Krieger, master of disguise. Mass murderer. Nazi madman. Joined by his girlfriend, Desiree Goth the President of the U.S. Nephew George and Zulu, Desiree's minder.

We get nazi's taking nuns and children hostage in a small town in Illinois. They have a thermonuclear bomb with them. While that's going on, Johannes has taking control of all the members of the government. Yes he has bombs planted all over.

This book is pretty tongue in cheek but as all Ahern's books, it's action packed. We still get a users manual on a variety of guns and ammo, but it works rather than hinder the story. The only down beat thing was the ending. Like a lot of these books it's left wide open. Still a winner.

A good solid action adventure read. The basics will be familiar to anyone who has read much Jerry Ahern. Track is not as interesting of a character to me as John Rourke from his Survivalist series, but he's OK. The basic story here is of a group of Neo-Nazis who've stolen nuclear weapons and are trying to seize control of the US. A thinly disguised Reagan is the president. All in all, I had fun with it.
