A sweet rural story about trying to save the little lamb that will be raffled at the school fete (so that no one thinks about turning it into lamb chops). Of course story doesn't touch on the fact they have a garden rather than a farm/lifestyle block, or that little lambs grow into sheep, or who will pay the vet bills, but from Miss 7's point of view it was a good story!

Miss 7 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
