A fine overview of NJPW in a rocky year. Best in its profiles and match rundowns, though the handful of essays are a bit too unfocused and poorly edited. Still a great resource for those looking to explore a great promotion and to get an idea of its current state.

I really enjoyed last years Year In Review and this one did not disappoint. If you're at all interested in the world of New Japan Pro Wrestling this is a must read. The recaps and profiles are well done and the long form essays are excellent reads for all levels of fandom.
