Simple introduction to Blender of roughly 100 pages with low word/letter-density.
It is mostly copy/paste from the official Blender tutorials and manual.
Little own/original material from the author.
Graphical and lay-out quality is not very good.
I will use it primarily as quick reference book and study aid.

Excellent book!

Danan really explains Blender in a easy to understand way. I enjoy his tutorials as well and also have a few other books he has put together. Great resource I will be using as my BLENDER skills increase. Thanks Danan.

brief history introduction to blender, done well

A very short book, covers the basics at a high level. Easy to read and navigate, but a bit superficial

Good basic intro

This is a good introduction for Blender. It goes over a broad range of functionality. There are just a few basic examples to follow. It is just the right level of detail I was looking for.
