This is a complete guidebook for Windows users, this book really introduced me to this new Windows operating system. Inside of this book I have found my all questions answers. I bought a new computer and wanted to use Windows latest version means Windows 10. But I did not know details uses of this operating system. That's why a few weeks ago I purchased this guidebook. By the help of this book I have learned about installation options for windows 10. This book is amazing and has helped me a lot, so I will definitely suggest this book to all.
Without a doubt the worst technical book I have ever read. Between all the run-on sentences, sentence fragments and other grammatical errors, the content is disorganized and spends more time comparing Windows 10 to previous microsoft operating systems than actually giving an introduction to Windows 10.
The disclaimer at the beginning of the book states it's not to be used for medicine or medical advice - was this book proofread at all?
I'm not sure what the target skill level of the book is either, as the author alternates between completely pandering to the computer illiterati telling you how to do absolutely pedestrian stuff like right-click to open a menu at one moment, and then telling the reader how to edit the registry the next. Everything I've ever read about the windows registry indicates that it's a dangerous place to go mucking about unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Took a quick peek in the book because I'm interested in learning Powershell, but I guess I'll show myself out. I couldn't even finish the book, and it's only 74 pages.
Helpful for about FIVE SHORTCUT KEYS for Windows (Cortana, Search, Task View, etc.). Cortana: can be invoked with WIN + Q keys (for entering text) or WIN + C (to enter voice commands). . . . You can also search by pressing the Windows key and starting to write. Tasks view: WIN + TAB. . . . Notification Center: WIN + A. Changing keyboard language: WIN + Space key. . . . Additionally, if we are to work with many apps on the taskbar may serve the shortcut key number + WIN, WIN + 1 where the first application opens anchored in the bar, WIN + 2 opens the second, and so on. / Very poor editing on this book. Sentences do not make sense, words left out, sentence structure awkward. Extremely hard to read and understand. It is almost as if a non-native English speaker wrote it and then put that text into some kind of digital processor and this is the very awkward translation
