This is a great set of full paranormal stories that will provide you days of great reading. I had read some of the stories when they were released previously but many were new to me and I have some new authors to check out now.

I like that they are full novels and not just short stories that don't deliver a full storyline or have much character development. There is a variety of stories to capture your interest.

There are shifters, fairies, demons, witches, goddesses and all kinds of supernatural characters. I am still reading thru the series and wanted to mention some of my favorites.

Bump in the Night (Deadly Whispers, #1) by Elianne Adams is one of the stories I was familiar with before reading the set but I read it again as I enjoyed it so much the first time. It is the story of a woman who is trying to find some peace but the dead won't let her. She ends up meeting her mate and almost losing him before they can have a life together.

Bootcamp of Misfit Wolves by Annie Nicholas is another story I had read before and reread. It is an interesting story about a vampire training some wolf shifters and trying to make them into a real team. Two of the wolves start to fall for one another which was not part of the plan.

Cursed - A Spellbound Regency Novel by Lucy Leroux is an intriguing historical romance featuring an Italian count who has been cursed and the Scottish witch who is trying to save him.

Dreaming of her Wolf (A BBW Stepbrother Shifter Romance) by Ever Coming is an interesting story about a young woman who is just finding out about her abilities and the truth about her family.

Prince in Leather by Holley Trent is one of my favorite stories. It is so well written and has a great cast of characters that I want to spend a lot more time with in other stories. A woman is cursed to operate a hotel. Her life changes for the better when a group of men and women on motorcycles come to the hotel. They are fairies and open up a whole new world to her.

WOW what an amazing collection of stories and authors, there are a few stories that were just not my favorites but I am sure they will appeal to others, but there are so many that were amazing and a couple new authors for me as well. I Highly recommend this set to all

This is a great collection of paranormal short stories. The stories are fun and while - no cliffhangers or samples so far. I am still reading and finding new authors to follow.

This boxed set has 19 full novels, each of a different area of paranormal romance, and written by 20 authors so there are variations in style. I've sort of jumped through the books based on the blurbs so I will go back and read more later
ALL I have read so far were pretty good. I will list them and then come back once I've read more to update. This is seriously one of the biggest books I have ever read!

Some of them I had previously read, some I have been wanting to read and some that are completely new to me! LOVE IT! Where else can you get the chance to find & read books from new-to-you authors at such a fantabulous price?!?! It’s a toss-up between Elianne Adams and Rachael Slate’s stories as to which I loved the best, BUT almost ALL of the others are a close second behind them! Truly! I was highly entertained, mesmerized, drooling, panting, lusting for more in almost every. single. story. Wow! I wasn't sure what to expect with this. Don't think you are getting short stories, no, these are like 300 page books! What a great deal! And they are some of my favorites that I had on my wish list. I feel like a kid at Christmas or like I have a great box of chocolates. I have to say that I think this is my favorite boxed set I've ever had before.

I’m so please with this box set! After reading Under the Veil I was eager for more and Beyond the Veil gave me more. The authors worked harder and crafted the stories in this set around some of the characters or themes from the previous short stories. I was delighted with the outcomes of the stories I finished and still reading because this box set is like a buffet after the appetizer that was Under the Veil. Enjoy the reading!
Bump in the Night by Elianne Adams
After been unable to save Peter Libbie was relieving his gruesome death every time. Besides a witch she was half daemon and she would have to live with the guilt because she didn’t protect him. When after a long time paining she went to The Witch’s Brew for a night out with her friend she didn’t knew that she would met her mate. Jay knew Libbie was his mate. He practically had given up on finding a mate but now there she was and now he would not let her out of his sight. Libbie was trying to help Kurt, at his dead wife spirit request, but things were going wrong and she was about to lose everything. Interesting and suspenseful story. Made me emotional. The action, the characters and the situations presented were good. Evil versus good with demons, witches, werewolf and an angel.
Bootcamp of Misfit Wolves by Annie Nicholas
They were in a wolf shifter camp run by a vampire. The vampire promised results. Clare didn’t want the fate that waited for her in her pack. Being the smaller shifter she almost forced her alpha father to send her to the camp. She had inherited her father’s traits and had been taking charge of the others shifters. Ian was tied and taken to the boot camp by his alpha. His alpha thought that some discipline will help him to get in the right road. Life in the camp was really hard and soon the lives of all the residents were in danger. Really interesting and entertaining this story. Liked the challenges and I’m was intrigued with the vampire drill sergeant. Some narrations made me laugh a lot, others made me sad because there was much emotion in them. Hope the author gives us more of these misfits.
What lies Within Us by Kiki Howell and Gina Kincade
After knowing the truth about her real family Kyna went to meet her aunt. She was told she needed protection from an evil that had plagued her family for too long. She had powerful powers but needed to learn how to use them because her family was cursed. Aedan was his protector, a human ex Seal, and her trainer, Darcaryn, was a powerful witch. The attraction to both males was part of her curse? There were too much lies and deceive and she didn’t know who to trust. She needed answers to fight evil and help her aunt before all is lost. Lot of action, intrigue, hot sex and suspense in this story. Demons, witches and evil magic completed the plot. Kept me guessing all the time. Liked the development of the plot.
Cursed A Spellbound Regency Novel by Lucy Leroux
Isobel was working as a governess when the italian relatives of her employee arrived. The young one looked sick and she felt something strange about him. There were rumors that some girls were missing at the village and somehow Isobell knew that the new arrived had something to do with that. Then, she saw Mattheo and he didn’t look sick walking around and watching her with interest. There was magic power in her family females and she sensed Mattheo’s aura was tainted. Getting ready to bed she was seized and carried to a cabin in the wood where she faced the beast. Will she survive? Who would help a mere governess? I like stories with lot of suspense, intrigue and sex. I’m a fool for paranormal stories and historical romances. This book was a feast for me. Have all the menu. Was well paced, good plot and an interesting development. Isobell was a strong, smart and resourceful heroine who knew how to embrace her destiny and we have an incubus (a very horny one) to add to the mix. Isobel’s struggles with the evil ones almost made me cheer her. Like the author style and enjoyed this story a lot.
Dreamers by K. de Long
Aletta had no control over her mark’s dreams. The dreams seemed real and it hurts. She was trained and competent but she felt it was her fault. She was struggling with herself, doubting who she was and the strong connection she felt with her target. She was a succubus with a mission to fulfill and she was feeling like a failure. Still learning how to charm people in bed she decided to go to the real realm and pay a visit to Han. Very different story. The succubus had a very long way to go to find herself and love. Interesting and with a HEA.
Red the Werehunter by Rebekah R. Ganiere
This first book was very good and really interesting. Full of action, good dialogs and intrepid and strong characters. The book begins with a prophecy that must be fulfill in order to have peace between the different kingdoms. The story is about Redlynn one of the sisters of the Sisterhood of Red. In her village the girls have been kidnapped by the werewolves. The villagers were suspicious of Redlynn because of her golden eyes and didn’t want to help her. She suspected that there were secrets about the forest and went after the kidnapped girls to bring them home. There she met Adrian, the wolves king, the one she swore to kill and from there onwards the plot develops in a fast story with lot of action and full of secrets and mysteries. There was romance, little sex but the plot was so interesting and intriguing that it didn’t matter to me. This story kept all my attention and opened my interest for the others kingdoms prophecies. Liked Price Sage and I will be looking for his prophecy.

2.5 stars - It's a rather short book, with 2 or 3 sex scenes in it, plus a very violent battle with some demons.

2. Bootcamp of Misfit Wolves by Annie Nicholas
3 stars - Good book, but has editing errors; and ending leaves a lot to be desired. Book just stops, not a cliffhanger, but just stops; as if some of the chapters were left off.

3. What Lies Within Us by Kiki Howell and Gina Kincade
2 stars - Dark, ominous, evil, touches of violence.

4. Cursed by Lucy Leroux
3.5 stars - Very good book, liked it a lot. Witches, curses, some violence, set against a historical romance background. Good story, good characters, has a nice ending.

5. Dreamers by K. de Long
1 star - Couldn't get into it at all. Too weird. I didn't get into the whole succubus thing.

6. Dreaming of her Wolf by Ever Coming
5 stars - Awesomely wonderful shifter romance, with a gripping ending, and a hearts and flowers finish to the book. I loved it! This is exactly what you want in a shifter romance novel. It has me wondering if the author has written more books in this series.

7. Prince in Leather by Holley Trent
5 stars - This is a very good book, and I'm enjoying it a lot. But, this thing of Simone constantly rejecting Heath gets very old; and it seems to be for a constantly changing variety of reasons. But, she finally gives in and they move on to other things. This is one of those books that you don't want to end, but it does have a very satisfying ending.

8. Too Far Gone by K.C. Stewart
5 stars - This was an awesome werewolf romance novel! Our heroine first meets her wolf in the woods, as a wolf. And that's what she knows him as for most of the book. She calls him Fred. But it isn't until the last of the book that she finally meets him as a man. It's a wonderful book with a great ending and memorable characters.

9. Fangirl by Rozlyn Sparks
2.5 stars - Not a fan of vampire novels, and didn't care for this book. I guess if you like vampire romance novels then this is a decent one, but it's nothing outstanding. When the guy has to end up undead to have a 'happy' ending, and another character gets beheaded, well, that's a rather gruesome romance story.

10. Destined by Sylvina Storm
1 star - Begins on a sour note for me, in that you are told that the prequel is available to newsletter subscribers and isn't in the book. This book is definitely on the out there side, as it gets into aliens from another planet. Also, it would be offensive to those who hold religious beliefs, as it dismisses such beliefs, and makes what some would consider blasphemous slurs on religion. I never really got into any of the characters, or the whole storyline.

11. Moon Borne: A Halcyon Romance by Rachael Slate
5 stars - A very excellent book, that will draw you in and hold your interest. Vivid characters and excellent writing with a unique story. If you are fond of the Greek myths, you will love this book.

12. Between by Lisa Swallow
3 stars - This is a good book, and caught my attention right off the bat. But, it's more paranormal than romance. There's a distinctly dark tone throughout the whole book. Demons, reapers, shades? And the ending leaves much to be desired.

13. Book of Light & Shadows by April A. Luna
1.5 stars - This book is fifty percent sex scenes, and another 25 percent of the scenes involve violence. The other 25 percent seems to involve our heroine constantly changing her mind about the hero. There's a lot about the storyline that isn't explained or concluded. In addition, of the violent scenes, most involve an assault on the heroine; including at least one attempted rape. I liked the hero and his friend, but that's about it. This could have been a great book with more storyline and less sex scenes and less violence.

14. The Witch and the Warrior by Crystal Dawn
1 star - Throughout the whole book, there's a distinct lack of dialogue, and a overabundance of passages about the setting or the thoughts of a character. There's a great many sex scenes, and of violence too. Women are not treated well in this book either. The overall storyline is okay, but not well executed. Not a book I cared for.

15. Quest of a Scottish Warrior by Sky Purington
1 star - As a rule I don't care for time travel romances, so for me to get into one, they have to be very well done. This one was not.

16. Persephone by Phoenix Johnson
1 star - This one involved angels and began with physical abuse, an attempted rape, and a murder; all within the first few pages. That's when I moved on.

17. Not Your Bitch by Angelica Dawson
1 star - Starts out with a woman in an abusive relationship. I left the book.

18. Wolf's Soul by Tierney O'Malley
Not read, not rated.

Bootcamp of Misfit Wolves by Annie Nicholas
I loved the first series of the Vanguards so when I saw that Ms. Nicholas was writing a second series to them lets just say I did the happy dance. Okay it was only in my head but there was a lot of happy in there. It cracks me up how these wolves have hired a vampire trainer to teach them how to be the best wolves they can be. I love this first book to the new series. It has equally great characters in it as well as a few from the first series. You don't necessarily have to read the first series before reading this one but I recommend it for the enjoyment of it all.

Wow! Beyond The Veil is an amazing collection of twenty captivating stories that are sure to tease, tantalize and titillate your senses and completely capture your heart. And folks, these are not snippets, excerpts, scenes nor previews, this is 1, 239 pages of sexy, steamy paranormal and magical goodness at its best. Yup, each story included is a complete novella and although some are part of an existing series, can still be read as a standalone. And these offerings are not penned by a bunch of no name authors. Oh, no, no no! The authors included in this collection are talented, award winning, bestselling authors, considered by many to be the sweethearts of paranormal romance and some of my favorites like Elianne Adams, Rebekah Ganiere, Annie Nicholas, Phoenix Johnson, Gina Kincade, Holley Trent, Lucy Leroux, Crystal Dawn, Sky Purrington and quite a few others. I love purchasing bundles for several reasons. They're convenient, affordable and most importantly, they give me the opportunity to try new authors without breaking the bank. I have to watch my pennies just like most readers but let's face it, twenty well crafted, well written stories for only 99 pennies is a real bargain. Heck, I've paid more for just one of these stories. Granted, there were a couple I already had in my library, but this deal was just too good to pass up. I admit, I haven't read the entire collection but I'm totally smitten with Bump in the Night by Elianne Adams, Bootcamp of Misfit Wolves by Annie Nicholas, Cursed by Lucy Leroux, Prince in Leather by Holley Trent, The Witch and the Warrior by Crystal Dawn, Quest of a Scottish Warrior by Sky Purrington, Persephone by Phoenix Johnson and Red the Werewolf Hunter by Rebekah Ganiere. Everything I've read so far has been beautifully written, well edited, seriously sexy, completely captivating and delightfully entertaining. So, would I recommend this collection? You bet and I am but only for adult readers since it does include some steamy dreamy love scenes. Yowza! If I were asked to describe this set in one word, what would it be? FABULOUS!

There are so many stories here by many talented and entertaining authors. I'm a big fan of Elianne Adams so I will start there with Bump in the Night. Elianne has a wonderful ability to describe some truly horrifying creatures and different realms as she calls them. I enjoy the romance aspect with the mystical - it's a good combo. For a short story these characters developed a deep connection and I even cried a little when our heroine had to go after her mate. Looking forward to Jordan's full story

What lies within us was incredibly descriptive. A fantastic hero for our story and some moments that made my skin crawl. A great nighttime read.

Absolutely loved Prince in Leather by Holly Trent. It was funny and descriptive with likable characters. Not too many intimate scenes with lots of action. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series as it's done and continuing the story.

The Witch and the Warrior was a great read, then again Crystal Dawn usually is a great read. I really liked how she gave us the perspective of various characters, not just the H and h. Don't usually see the villains side or supporting characters and I enjoyed it.

Likeable characters and story line in Dreaming of her Wolf. I really liked this story line as well and would read more by this author

Really enjoyed the story by April Luna but must admit I'm confused. Do not understand the connection the the Under the Veil story of Aden and don't think the plot was fully formed in this story but I think that could possibly be resolved in her other stories that appear to have links to these characters. I'm going to go and read those soon. I liked these characters even tho they frustrated me a bit at times. Still a very good story for the collection and worth the read.

Quest of a Scottish Warrior - I swear this set is worth buying for that book alone! It made me cry! I have avoided time travel books but this is making me reevaluate. Swoon worthy H and a commendably strong h. Such an enticing story that I will surely read again and can't wait to read stories for the other 3 ladies.

This will be an ongoing review... first up Moon Borne Rachael Slate This book was received as an advanced reader copy, in exchange only for an honest review. Ms. Slate has moved from Chinese mythological romance to Greek Mythology. She can write whichever period/mythology she would like, as this Halcyon series was as every bit as captivating as her first.
The very beginning starts out with action of Arsenius capturing Kyme an Amazon warrior. It isn't hard to see she wants nothing more than to kill him to protect her warrior sisters. Asrenius' motives aren't as clear in the beginning other then wanting to save his sister. Soon he does realize Kyme is or should be rather his mate. Amazons, don't take mates, so she denies anything of the sort.
Together they find a way to work towards a common goal of helping him rescue his sister. Will she give into what she thinks might be love, or remain a warrior and kill him as she's planned all along? I won't be a spoiler, so I won't tell. Read Moon Borne for yourself, and you will find that just like the Chinese Zodiac Romance Series, you will not have read another Greek Myth book like this one. For those who aren't avid Greek Myth followers, Ms. Slate includes just the right amount of history and understanding, so you won't be lost. If you love Percy Jackson for YA, let's say The Halcyon Series is the untold grown ups version that leaves you highly anticipating book two in the series. 5/5

A seriously mixed bag

There were at least 4 stories in this anthology that were so bad, I couldn't force myself to slog through them. However, there were also a couple decent ones, worth the read despite grammar, spelling, and story line errors. While the gemstones in the rough show the promise of novice authors who have a shot at becoming great, a good editor is a must. I will have to skim through this again to jog my memory on those gems though, because by the time I reached the 75% mark, I had to take a break, returning to a few old favorite authors for stories that I knew would hold my interest. Six books later, I am very sorry I came back to try to finish this. I will eventually look for the good stories, and see how the best authors hidden in this tragic pile of teenage level scribbling have been faring, and I hope they do find the strength to overcome such humble beginnings. To those few, best of luck, can't wait for you to hit your stride! To the rest, don't quit your day job. I would be willing to pay a few more bucks for a smaller volume that only contained the best ten of these stories. The rest made me really happy I didn't pay more. The stinkers made me want that dollar back!

Review for Moon Borne by Rachael Slate

Rachael leaves her Chinese Zodiac Romance series to lay the groundwork on a new series. Set in the world of Myths and monsters but within the narrative of more recent history.

Amazon virgin warrior with a very useful gift granted from her goddess. A demi god trying desperately to save his sister from the slavery he found himself in. So desperate he becomes the very thing he escaped from, a slaver!!! Capturing this Amazon is his ticket to the inner circle of slavers but he didn't expect her to be this captivating or pliant!

Arsenius and Kyme are infuriating, funny, endearing and downright nutty at times. You get sucked into their world quickly and before you know it ancient myths seem that bit more real! Great descriptions of the geography capture your imagination but don't get bogged down or in the way of the story.

Wow, just wow. When I read Under the Veil, I thought once I could read the full length story it would suit my hunger. It didn't. Even after reading these, I want more. These stories are so good. I honestly didn't find one I didn't like. If you want something to keep you occupied for a while but you are on a budget, look no further. You have found it. This book is jam-packed with every Supernatural creature you could want. You have an Incubus, Vampires, Shifters, Witches, even a couple of Goblins. You also get a wide variety of settings, everything from aristocracy in England to the city streets of New York. If you like Paranormal, then there is something in this book for you. Now, it is time for me to track down all of these and see if there are sequels. If not, I guess I will be reading this again back to back to quell my hunger. All of these authors are amazing. Not to mention, who knows, you may find some new authors to love out of this experience. This book is over 1000 pages.

Can’t wait to work my way through all the great stories here (teasers in Under the Veil box set really got my interest), however it’s going to take some time, here is what I think so far:
Moon Borne by Rachel Slate--Oh my Gods! Greek mythology has never been so interesting! Incredibly well written and entertaining, not to mention hard to put down. The characters really come to life as you share their triumphs and failures hoping their ending will be happy. Kyme is an Amazon warrior devoted to Artemis, her Queen, and people; she believes her race incapable of love for a male until, despite her best efforts, Arsenius gets under her skin. However, the question is can a man incapable of being loved teach a woman incapable of loving to love? Whether you are into Mythology or just Romance, you have to read this book! Easily 5+ stars!

First,just look at the amazing authors who contributed, Eilane Adams,
Holly Trent, Annie Nickolas, Crystal Dawn,just to name a few and the
Size of the set. I was not able to read all the books,but i will,cause the ones i read so far blew me away! The writing captured my attention,
The characters kept me wanting more.
This is by far one of the best sets ive had the privilege of reading in a long time. If you luv paranormal, books with romance,mystery and

i really enjoyed this collection. i knew of a few of the authors in this collection and had read other work from them so i knew i wouldn't be disappointed and i was proven right!.
the other stories were just as refreshing, hot, naughty, thrilling and captivating. it's a bundle where you have to shut yourself of from the real world, stock up on snacks (lots of snacks!), huddle on your sofa and just let each story take you away from reality for a while!

Tantalizing and stimulating stories that enthralled my mind and took me away on a magical adventure!!! I absolutely enjoyed myself while reading these stories and absolutely hated putting it down so that I could catch a few hours of sleep. These authors know how to weave words so that the mind forms the images and brings the magic to life. A definite must read for anyone who likes a little magic with their romance.

Great Collection of Full Length Stories!

I love box sets with multiple authors; they seem to introduce you to new authors.

This is a box set of full-length paranormal stories. At the end of each story, you are given an option to go back to the table of contents or turn the page to start the next story. Each story is complete with no cliffhangers.

I have loved the entire series thus far. Beyond the Veil is no exception. It is always fun to find a new author. This set is no exception. Elianne Adams, Holly Trent. Lucy LeRoux, the list goes on and on. This is another great read you can take to work and help your day fly by. Persephone by Phoenix Johnson is awesome. If you are looking for some incredible reading by some truly talented authors, this is the place to start. And at .99 cents, you simply can't go wrong!

Mostly Boring!

After trying to read the stories in this set (12 stories is how many I tried to read) for a couple of days I've finally given up & am not going to read the rest. Most of the 12 books/stories that I did read were boring &/or long drawn out so that I didn't even finish those stories. 4 of the books/stories were very good. If the story doesn't pull me in right away then for the most part it's just not worth it to make myself read any further.
