Why would you (Ani Keating) write a cliffhanger with no thought for your readers. Ninety Days should have been in train the minute Thirty Days was published. Unacceptable! I dislike authors who leave readers hanging for so long. In fact, cliffhangers shouldn't be allowed without a commitment of a timely follow up. Write a HEA and pick up somewhere after!!!

Let's say this, author Ani Keating has a LOT OF NERVE! THIS IS MY TIRADE OF 2021...
I can't let this go without comment ... for any of you who read the incredible book THIRTY NIGHTS (2015) by her, and waited and waited and waited for the second book NINETY DAYS, you'll appreciate what I have to say.
Readers went nuts for the first book, but the author left us hanging now for 6 years! ... with barely a glance in our direction and no response to untold messages and pleas from disheartened fans about where she disappeared or why we constantly were being led astray about the book that was always coming, but never did. In fact, you can't even buy the 1st book anymore. She had oodles of excuses: all on her publisher/changed publisher, which was total b.s. I'm surprised she didn't say her dog ate her homework. The truth is, she NEVER WROTE THE BOOK. Maybe she didn't even have an end in mind which is the reason she totally copped out. But, she sure knew this when she baited us with the first book and left us in the lurch.
More die-hard souls than I gave her the benefit of the doubt for 2 long years until 2017. 2 years too long. Eventually, I threw in the towel and wrote a scathing email that called her out on one of the worst dupes an author has pulled on readers. Natch, I never got any response. What can the "guilty" possibly have to say to defend utter bullshit? She slithered off, left her website untended, and all of us were left scratching our heads. The best part is that she charged $5 for the lst book when ebooks went for $2.99. What a scam!
Well, well, well. Look who's come out of the woodwork with a whole new set of excuses for where she's been! She's swept all 6 years under the rug, is acting all sweet and contrite and now blaming her absence on Covid (what about the other 5 years!), the weather, Sputnik, family health -- blah, blah, blah. None of it has a bit to do with ghosting us and never writing the book. In fact, she admits not having written it -- before, she always claimed the book was written and held up by her publisher (*cough* *bullshit*). Guess she can't even keep her lies straight.
Now she feels energized after putting out feelers to fans with a fresh batch of excuses. She's now slow-dripping a chapter at a time in emails (5 chapters so far and no substantial story movement, which proves she's making it up as she goes). My heart is hardened beyond steel for such a thoughtless, clueless, inconsiderate author. You are all better women than I to forgive and forget. She tainted this duet so badly with lies and deceptions and zero feeling for her fans that I don't actually see how she can retrieve the buzz that was.

Hear this Ani Keating -- you're a sham author, and I'm done with you. I SEE you. You're sending out chapters in daily emails to get a feel for whether there's enough interest or forgiveness to actually publish it. Readers have been dragged through the mud lately by author b.s. and we have the power to ghost YOU. I would rather fall off a cliff, lose everything I own, or be shot into space than pay you a cent for another book! You're behavior was shameless and unforgivable. And that's no bullshit!

Still no update. Its been a super long ass time. I kinda forgot the 1st book already. The author has no love for her readers because she didnt follow through. Smh
