I have only read two of the three books in this box set so far, and my reviews on these are as follows:

Book 1 - Island of Alphas
This is a well created story about a Doctor who is given an unusual job offer to help solve fertility problems on a private Island. When approached, Liz doesn’t know what she is letting herself in for, but knows it cannot be worse than the situation she is currently in; no fiancé, a serious debt problem and unemployed. On arrival at the Island, things are not quite what they seem; where is the airstrip they arrived on, what is a wolf, dragon, supernatural bears and Gray Forms doing on the Island, what can she do about the fertility problems and why is she overly attracted to two men. When Eric and Nate are continually distracted by outside influences, Liz is confronted by her ex-lover, Jason, but is it really him? When plans do not go to schedule, Liz finds herself in danger.

Book 2 - Island of Bears
To be reviewed shortly.

Book 3 - Island of Dragons
This story had a different twist to it than merely being a shifter story, but nevertheless I enjoyed reading it. Ellie is on a singles cruise coming to terms with all her woes, when she is thrown into the sea by an unexpected phenomenon. What transpires next turns out to be quite unexpected, with lots of surprises in store - she is even accused of being a spy. Black Lake Island is inhabited by dragon shifters, but danger lurks there - not only that the Island is under threat, both from the Gray Forms and an adversary who wants nothing more than to destroy the Island and everyone on it.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not sure what to say about this collection. There were positives in each story, and I liked the characters that the author created. They were in-depth, engaging and willing to change, which is a rare trait in any character. I wasn't too impressed with her writing style though. She bogged the story down with too much background, the plot wasn't completely resolved *although the final book explained a lot*, and she had a habit of packing each sentence with an explanation when no one would 'think' or talk like that in reality. Frankly, I'm not sure I could read this series again, but it definitely wasn't a waste of time.

This series is totally worth a very high 5...being able to read a series in consequently is so much enjoyable.
I received this book with a promotion price of 99¢ through Amazon and it has surpassed to me , as keeping me "glued" to reading to the end.
Amira Rain is a new author to me and now I'm hooked on her books.
I have fallen in love with Warren, Eric and Holden and you will too. Grey forms, inky black water, magic, and mysterious happenings this series will have you asking why, what and how this island is.
Go to Amazon and get your copy of The Island you will love it too and wish you were there..

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I loved all 3 stories. Each book is a stand alone story with a HEA. There are 4 groups of shifters on the Island, natural wolf shifters and the created shifters the government created, wolves, bears and dragons. Each book covers a different group and their struggles to survive after the government pulls the plug on the project. Each set of characters will pull you in and take you on the adventure with them. I recommend to all shifter lovers. Wonderful weekend read. :)

The island...

This series was comprised of three books; the wolves, the bears, and the dragons. The wolves part is when everything begins, the story is starting a build up of what's to come. The bears story, all of much the same but a little whiney. The dragons ended the books with a bang. Lots happen here with extras thrown in that you didn't expect. All in all, it was a fun read with lots of commotion and drama.

This is a good collection of shifter romances. I read them when they were released separately. They feature women who end up on an island that is inhabited by shifters and there are lots of mystery around their origins and what else is on the island with them. They tend to be fairly quick reads and the story moves quickly.

The Island

This set of 3 books are abt shifters of wolf, bear, & dragons They each have their own story and live on the same island in another dimension as portals are used to get there. I enjoyed reading and also being able to see the interactions from each clan being told throughout the stories.

Common theme

Having all three books in one is convenient. They all have a basic theme of girl gets on island, trust issues ensue, and then they work it out and save the day.

Ok book

The second story is the best. The third did rap things up about the lake. It was a good read for .99 cents when I bought it

Enjoyable

While there are some slow areas, overall an enjoyable read. Occasionally, you'll want to yell at the heroines but keep going.
