Montana Territory, 1885 - There’s only one thing he can do to protect her desire and her reputation…marry her.
Daisy Lenox has always felt invisible next her beautiful and vivacious sisters. But the new town doctor, Ethan James, changed all that. He watches her with an intensity that she can’t deny. He’s the first to encourage her and the first to offer a stern reprimand when she needs it.
Doctor Ethan James has a secret…until Daisy Lenox follows him and learns the truth—nearly getting herself killed in the process. While caring for Daisy, Ethan is determined that she never takes such a chance with her life again.
Warning: Panty melting! Daisy is the fourth book in the Wildflower Bride series. It's is a wildly dirty romance with a inquisitive heroine and obsessed alpha doctor determined to make her his.

It was what I expected it to be. Short and erotic with explicit language, spanking, light Dom. A possessive doctor hero and a submissive heroine. I didn’t feel the chemistry between the two, probably because this is a novella.
I love Vanessa Vale's books because they are so easy to read and lose myself into. This one was no different. Granted, this one didn't have as much drama as the rest of her stories do, but I'm okay with that. Ethan is such a sweetheart, but his bedroom antics, gosh damn. Yes, please! Daisy was also a very good character, and she has a heart of gold. I will definitely be finishing this series.
SHE HAS BEEN CHASING AFTER ME UNTIL I TURNED AROUND AND CAUGHT HER Daisy Lenox is considered a Bluestocking, she has a thirst for knowledge, especially of the sciences. Dr. Ethan James has deep dark secrets that he has been trying to keep secret. He doesn’t judge by the color of a person’s skin and has been treating the Indians. Seeing Daisy in the mercantile helping an Indian named Red Bear, he gains respect for her. When her curiosity nearly gets her killed during a winter storm, and he must treat her for days, to protect the Indian tribe, they marry and must keep it a secret as to where they have been. Ethan and Daisy have an insatiable chemistry that is wet, carnal, dark, and definitely wild together. She may have a Bluestocking mind, but together, they are carnal, and she is so responsive to his dominance that Ethan realizes she is just what he’d been searching for his whole life but never knew he needed. This is a highly erotic romance with explicit language and steamy sex scenes. Disclosure: I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.
I enjoyed this stand alone book and the series written about orphaned women who were adopted and moved west. The sisters, all eight of them survived the journey west, so far the books are only about the eldest five sisters but they are all good books.
This is the story of Ethan and Daisy. Ethan is a bit of a mystery to Daisy, he is the town doctor, but he disappears sometimes and Daisy wants to know all about him. She met him when an Indian Chief became ill at a store and Daisy helped the doctor to make him well. She has had a crush on the doctor ever since that day and follows him around.
Ethan is a typical bachelor doctor, all the moms in the area want him as a son-in-law. He is quite the catch in the little town. He is set in his ways and he has noticed Daisy, he just hasn't had a reason to marry as of yet.
However when Daisy follows Ethan out of town they both learn something.
A quick and sexy old west erotica. Typical of me to jump into a series at book 4 but I enjoyed Daisy’s and Ethan’s story. I didn’t expect the good doc to have a light Dom kink but it worked- let’s face it, Daisy clearly needed a guiding hand ;) I did expect maybe a little more at the ending- like her becoming a nurse or apprentice but as with fast paced novellas it could be in the unwritten future- just that extra would’ve made this a 4 star.
I was given this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review.
We are back again with the fourth book in Wildflowers Of Montana series and this time it is the bookish Daisy turn and she doesn't fall for a cowboy either shocker right. I just love Vanessa Vale she always pulls me in to everyone of her books.
Daisy Lenox has had a hard life it all changed with the fire that destroyed her family. Luckily she found a new home a new family and lots of sisters too grow up with. Now Daisy is all grown up. She is an avid reader and loves learning. Even though her family do not find her books or eagerness for knowledge interesting if at all, she normally goes around unnoticed. But that all changes when She meets the attractive new doctor, she doesn't want to be unnoticed any longer. She begins her changes immediately she goes into town more in the hopes of catches a glimpse of the new doctor she even starts following him around, to say Daisy is smitten is an understatement.
When Ethan James was thirteen he tragically witnessed his mother and sister murder. This affected him in so many different ways but the main one being that he became a doctor so he can save lives and help people he will not turn anyone away no matter what there faith or nationality.
Ethan left Georgia behind and he has moved out west to start his life anew. But he realises that prejudice was not just in his old home Georgia it is hear as well. He discovers this when Red Bear falls ill in the local mercantile, He is so shocked when he discovers that the only person to help Red Bear was Daisy she radiates beauty inside and out.
Ethan quickly becomes good friends with Red Bear and soon helps treating the Indians on the reservation but he does this in secrecy. That is until one day when his visit becomes something much more and ends something beautiful. What Ethan is unaware is that Daisy curiosity has gotten the better of her and she has followed him.
He soon discovers this dilemma when Red Bear rides into camp with a wet and unconscious woman. He quickly learns that the woman is none other than Daisy. And knows he must keep her warm and toasty or she might die, Ethan knows the best way and the only way too bring her about is with his body heat. And of course now they must marry not only too save Daisy reputation but too keep Ethan secret.
This book is a thrilling exciting read and totally different from the other three in this series, the characters are always spot on and Vanessa has such a way of writing that we the readers no that no matter what she writes we will fall in love.
In this book I totally fell in love with Ethan he is a tough man but has a heart of gold I totally loved his back story and felt his struggle which moved me too tear.
Daisy is the fourth novella in the Historical Western Erotica series by Vanessa Vale. We follow the bookish Daisy as she becomes enamoured with the new town doctor; the enigmatic Southern gentleman, Dr Ethan James.
Daisy has felt a little lost since her sister Dahlia got married and more invisible than ever. Her guardians and the rest of her unmarried sisters can’t relate to her book learning or the quest for knowledge. She has this yearning inside and is searching for fulfilment, but of what kind? Could Dr James be the kindred spirit Daisy’s looking for?
Dr James is man who maintains control in all aspects of his life, but he is not without demons of his own following events from a traumatic childhood. He takes his Hippocratic Oath very seriously and does not discriminate against those he treats, which given the times is a very precarious stance to take.
As Daisy tries to unravel the secrets of Doc James she puts her very life in danger and that of the doctor’s position. Yet, Daisy hasn’t been as invisible as she’s always suspected. Ethan has definitely noticed the pretty brunette for more than her quiet bookish ways; he wants her submission as well:
“….but I knew then that I wanted Daisy Lenox to be mine.”
This is without a doubt my favourite instalment in the series so far. The BDSM elements are ramped up and the smexy scenes will have your kindle ablaze. What that man can do with his hands ~ phew!!
“You belong to me now. Your body belongs to me.”
However, it is a wonderful love story of two people finding what they need in each other under not so traditional circumstances. Ethan summed it up for me:
“I hadn’t been whole until I found her….”
I always get lost in this author’s writing and can’t recommend her work enough. Go on…..you won’t be disappointed.
Now I wonder which sister is lucky enough to be picked next?!?!
Daisy Lenox is good at two things, reading and learning. Her family doesn't find her books or hunger for knowledge interesting, so, she usually goes unnoticed. When Daisy meets the handsome new doctor, she no longer wants to be unnoticed. She begins going into town more and starts following the handsome doctor.
At the age of thirteen, Ethan James watched helplessly has his mother and sister were murdered. Years later, Ethan becomes a doctor so he can save people. He leaves Georgia behind and moves out west to start a new life. Once there, he realizes prejudice was not only just in Georgia. When Red Bear falls ill in the mercantile, Ethan is shocked to learn the only person to help was a young beauty by the name of Daisy. Ethan becomes friends with Red Bear and soon begins treating indians on the reservation in secrecy. On one visit, he is unaware the beautiful girl followed him. Red Bear rides into camp with an unconscious wet white woman. Ethan realizes Daisy is the woman and knows he must get her warm before she dies, and the best way is with his body heat. To save her reputation and keep his secret, Ethan decides to marry Daisy.
I enjoyed reading Daisy's story. It seemed shorter and different from the first books of the series.......no sexy cowboy ;) But hey, there was a sexy doctor :) There is still a lot of very hot sexy scenes. I love how Ms. Vale shows it's okay to let a man be dominating and in control, and still feel love and respect. Overall, it's a good sexy read.
Ethan is the new doctor in town. He meets Daisy when she helps an Indian when he gets sick in town, something most of the woman shy away from. He slowly starts watching her coming in with her pregnant sisters and discovers that she is quite the reader and offers to loan her books.
Daisy thinks the new doctor is hot, but where does he go a couple days a week? He just disappears. So she decides to follow him. But she chooses a VERY cold day and her horse bucks her into the creek. She soon develops hypothermia and is found by a group of Indians and brought to the doctor while he was at their village. Ethan treats her of course, he strips her and him and cuddles together to raise her body heat. Another storm comes in and Ethan and Daisy are stuck until it passes. She has now been naked with the good doctor. What is she to do?
Ethan decides she needs to be punished for putting herself in danger and then him being stuck at the village for two days and away from any of his patients in town. So he spanks her and she loves it!!
They come home married and then the real fun begins. There is definitely a strong connection between Daisy and Ethan. She wants to meet his needs and he wants to meet hers even if that means taking her in hand, which she LOVES!!
I received an advanced reader copy for my honest review. I have fallen in love with this series!! Can't wait for the next sister.
He loves me not..........he loves me??? So if you haven't read the other books in the series Wildflowers of Montana, the first book is Rose however, Daisy could stand alone but to really get the feel and the full backstory start with Rose. Daisy is a a well read Lennox sister that has a massive crush on the new town doctor. Daisy is a girl that would rather read and learn about the world than talk about dresses and hair ribbons. She gets herself into a bit of a mess and the good doctor was there to help nurse her back to health but in doing so it has left them both in a compromising position. The solution is an easy one however, Daisy has always wanted to marry for love not just to save her reputation and a hot Southern doctor with a drawl to swoon for career.......now she knows what her sisters have been talking about and Daisy would do just about anything for the good doctor that she hardly even knows. I thought that this is one is the best of the series so far and such a beautiful cover. I love that it was different and loved the history of Ethan James and the Civil War. I may be a bit swoonish for Ethan James myself........I am looking forward to the next book in this series! I was given an copy of this book for a free and honest review.
Daisy has become smitten with Dr. James. She feels noticed for the first time in a long time often hiding behind her sisters shadows. When she is convinced that there is something Dr. James isn't telling her she puts her health at risk and follows him into wild and barely escapes death.
Ethan James isn't sure his spitfire will survive but he's determined to help nurse her back to health. To keep from putting the Indian's at risk and to explain Daisy's absence, Ethan does the only reasonable thing he can think of. Marry Daisy.
With Ethan's firm hand and Daisy's easy submission they are sure to learn more about themselves than ever before. Vale has a way of writing historical erotica that doesn't make the reader feel the drag that some historical novels have. I really enjoyed the joy ride I went on as Daisy discovered her need to submit to Ethan and Ethan's need to keep her safe at all costs.
It is Daisy's turn to find her true love and she has set her sights on Dr. James. She has been watching him and following him and now she is in trouble because her horse has thrown her and she has fallen into the river and is soaking wet. This is the start of this book. It is the middle of the winter and a storm is blowing in. Needless to say, Daisy is brought to Dr. James and he saves her even though she is suffering from hypothermia but oh does he save her. They find their way and it is fun to watch them find their way and fall together.
**Received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review**
Dr. Ethan James is the perfect man for a well-read girl like Daisy Lenox. He knows and appreciates her interest in the sciences. Miss Lenox has watched him and followed him but didn't know that Ethan was interested in her too. Daisy's obsession with Dr. James leads her into a life-threatening situation. Once he has saved her life, Ethan spanks her for doing something so impulsive and reckless. Daisy is surprised at how the spanking makes her feel and doesn't understand her body's reactions to Ethan's dominant personality, but he assures her that there's nothing to be ashamed of. It only gets better from there!

I discovered Vanessa Vale last summer, and it's been a wild ride since! Her books are hot, her characters are real, and her stories involving.
Daisy is the fourth Wildflowers of Montana book, and I read it in basically one sitting. Daisy and her Doctor have immediate sparks, and they were flying!
If you haven't read these books yet, you need to. But don't forget the fire extinguisher!
Ms. Vale has taken us back to the ranch in the latest installment of Wildflowers, bringing us Daisy and her doctor. This is a quick moving novella that leaves no emotion out. Be prepared for some light bsdm scenes that are very well done and involve mainly spanking. If you are a fan of old west erotica pick this one up but be forewarned Ms. Vale has a way of hooking you in and you won’t be able to wait for the next of the Wildflower series.
I really enjoy this series and this is a great addition. Each book stands alone nicely but if you haven't read the series you are certainly missing out. Daisy is smart and when she figured out she was interested in the new town Doctor she decided she needed to know more about him. Ethan was more than up to the challenge. Together they are perfect. Adventure, danger, romance and spice makes for a wonderful read!
This family of 10 women in the time of Western Expansion was not a place women had many rights, but they had each other. For a woman to flourish she needs a man, but these women are no wilting flowers and they need a strong man to deal with a strong woman. This is the story of that and this is a great story. Totally loved this story and the characters. Such a fun read.
3.5* Another good addition to the Wildflowers of Montana series. I've enjoyed the other two books in the series that I've read and this one didn't disappoint. Daisy and Dr. Ethan James have really good chemistry and I liked the touch of dominance Ethan had over Daisy. Something they both needed and sought with out knowing. I can't wait to read the other books in the series.
Daisy Lenox meets the new town doctor and is instantly smitten. Dr. Ethan James saves Daisy from her foolish attempt to follow him while he is on his way to see a patient. After being gone for two days, Daisy and Ethan get married to protect both of their reputations. Sweet, sexy and happily ever after. Fantastic book!
I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
