When Things Fall Apart is a collection of poems written for those who have suffered through difficult times. I've encountered numerous times when I felt lost and wanted to give up and quit in many things in life. We are all looking for one happiness. We must not let our external circumstances dictate our happiness, but rather, learn to react to each instance differently. We are much better than that. We must overcome our negative thoughts, and remember that any emotion we feel is just that, an emotion. All emotions are only temporary! Just as one does not push away the feelings of happiness, one should not resist the feelings of sadness, loneliness, and anger as well. We are creatures of adaptation, and everyone can achieve happiness with minute shifts in their perspectives. Many times people quit in life just when they are about to achieve success. You cannot quit. Every rejection and every NO means that you're one step closer to achieving success. It means that you're one step closer to a YES. You must not quit. Plenty of times all you really need is ONE YES. If you're looking for love and you find the right person then YOU ONLY NEEDED ONE YES to fulfill your dreams. Another thing about not giving up and continuing your journey through difficult times is that it helps build character and helps you adapt in being able to handle rejections more often. You will always be rejected and have to go through obstacles in life but how you deal with it determines whether or not you will live a great life or just an average life. There are so many things to be down about but you have to realize that there are so many things to look forward in life as well. It may be tough right now but you can't quit just yet. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO SEE IN LIFE and you won't be able to see them if you stop and give up. Everyone goes through rough times in life and it feels great knowing that.
