First off I want to say that 'Arioch' had a very intriguing plot. It was filled with action with a splash of gore and scares. I could see this book easily being made into a film. The story revolves around a demon who is summoned for vengeance but whose thirst for vengeance is only further excited by those who arrive to clean up the bloody scene. The plot was interesting, fast paced and accentuated with a wicked twist at the end. Some of the characters are given more depth and creativity than others, but all are shaken and affected by the terror of the demon.

This is a short story that shows one should becareful how one treats others. I love how the author creates twists and turns to keep the reader interested until the end. I look forward to reading book 2!!

I wish I could give this short story a higher rating. The dialogue was pretty good and the moral of the story, though obvious, was also good. If the editing was better, I would've gladly given the story a higher rating and enjoyed the tale of vengeance even more. And, make no mistake, Cook crafted appropriately distasteful characters deserving of their fate.
