If your not sure about falling in love plus getting married for the second time around you might better check this book out!!! They were two older couples in there late fifties and of course they had some obstacles to climb over but they made it and took a chance on love again. This was a wonderful ending to this series even though I'm hoping for more because there are still some more characters who are looking for Love and Happiness!! Enjoy your day and happy reading...

Nice story
Colton believes he has cancer and the diagnosis is grim. Leslie is his friend and she takes care of him. They fall in love but because of his diagnosis they don't believe they have much time together. Antagonist are their ex's who continue to interfere in their relationship. There really is no mystery but there is suspense as the author tells us from the beginning what the antagonists are doing to the hero and heroine. They are a few typo errors. I enjoyed the heroine faith and that she got the hero to place his faith in God also. Nice part of story. Also appreciate Leslie is an older woman with the same insecurities that older women may have when taking on a new love in an intimate relationship. Love how as an older man he knows the internal value of a woman. Good character development.

Although I loved the chemistry between Colton and Leslie, the editing errors and raunchy sex scenes kept slowing the story down. Instead of TELLING what the characters are doing, an author's word choice should SHOW what is happening and SHOW what they are feeling. In one crazy sentence, the author used four different nouns to describe Colton's "package" in the SAME SENTENCE. Really? Now SHOWING, by word choice, how evil Ryan and Katherine are, the author did that perfectly. Hope book # 6 is worth the investment of my time, since I have already invested the money.

Whew..I can exhale now.
Wow...Katherine & Ryan...two sick sociopaths wreaking havoc. McAfee did a great job of getting Colton & Leslie out of that nasty evil cesspool created by Kat, Ryan & even Russell, to find their second chance and live it. Thank goodness for Colton & Leslie's children as they managed not to be tainted by Katherine or Russell. It's a crazy ride but there's sweetness, faith, sexy romance and some luck that makes the ride worth taking.

Fun read
This book was romantic. It seems that less time was taken with this book than the others in the series. Less thought was given to the personality of the characters. At times, the ethnicity of the characters were unclear and even inauthentic (whites characters thought and spoke like African Americans rather than being true to their ethnic background.The grammatical errors lead to some confusion at times. The setting was beautiful.

The second time around is a charm!
When so much evil is done to one, how to they recover? That could be said about Colton and Leslie. Both had ex spouses who were just plain evil to them time and time again. Yet, Colton and Leslie still found strength and faith to fight through and live for the happiness that awaited them with each other. A great read!

A Second Chance at Love with some mystery thrown in the mix
Who said that you can't get a second chance at love? When it come to Colton and Leslie they found their second chance at love with each other even with forces trying to tear them apart. Their love prevails above it all. There were some sad moments in the story, and there were some mistakes.

I’m happy Leslie and Colton got their happily ever after second time around. They both deserved it, and I’m happy Ryan got what he deserved. Katherine didn’t change at all and got what she deserved as well. Great book!

The Drama Continues
So I met these lovely folks in the first book of the series. It just keeps getting better. The things that happened in this one left me baffled to some extent. The characters are real to me and several times wanted to throw my kindle.

Good addition
This was a good addition to the series. I really wished Colton could have had a real face to face with Ryan. And I would have loved to have seen a better confrontation between Colton and Katherine.

I a happy that I got this book. I thought that I had this book because of the cover but I didn't, of course, anyway I had been waiting for he book of Leslie and Colton. Well worth the wait. I loved this book. For Leslie who has always looked out for everyone someone now did that for her. Colton who is a billionaire, was said to have cancer has fallen in love with Leslie. I questioned about Jamie. I Don't want to give nothing out, but their was no mention on her after Colton saw her. Then their is Leslie's friend Victoria. Maybe there will be a book on her and Gar. Hopefully Ms. McAfee has that in the works. All together this is a great read! Love does conquer

I'm so glad Colton and Leslie found true love the second time around. Too bad he had to go through Hell because of Katherine, but love one in the end. She I tell you I was crying during the church scene and you had Sasha sing my favorite song......bravo.

Loved It
This is one of my favorite authors, Russell Leslie's x-husband was crazy. Colton's soon to be x-wife was crazier. For the love of money people will do crazy things. Glad Colton found God. This book had attempted murder, poisoning, blackmail, love and hot sex. Enjoyed this a lot because this was a older couple. Older folks need love also

Great Series
I am so glad I read all five I really enjoyed the series it was great to catch up with the other couples from the previous books. I loved their story it was great to read about how faith can change things.

It could be better, I felt the author run with the story towards the end, but otherwise enjoyed it to the end. Never did get if Colton took that viagra pill (tongue in cheek)... hummmm.
