Unhappily married to a highly successful physician, Carolyn wants a divorce. Yet her husband, Donald, refuses it. The weighty demands of raising four children without his help, coupled with his lack of attention, pushes her to concoct the brilliant idea to become "the other woman." Unrecognizable and supremely seductive, Carolyn creates an enticing alter ego to seduce Donald into falling in love with her so he will finally grant Carolyn the divorce she so desperately seeks. As the charade progresses, not everything unfolds as she had planned...
This book takes an intriguing and unexpected concept that, at first, I could not possibly see pulling off believably, and it made me believe it. A light and occasionally surprising romance read, it’s a book of growth and self-discovery with a bit of danger thrown in.
This book has one of the most original premises I've read. It is a super fun read that presents a realistic depiction of love and an empowering message for women. The character development is outstanding. "Two can Play" by Priscilla B. Shuler proves the author can step out of her comfort zone and still deliver a magnificent book. Kudos!
