So I was really good friends with the author in High School so when I heard she wrote a book naturally I had to read it. Overall it’s not bad but it is self published. And being self published means there are parts that could have used serious editing for clarification or just content. The book fell victim to many “deus ex machina” plots but again it wasn’t bad. I’ll probably buy the second in the series if she ever publishes it.
My daughter recommended this book because a friend of hers from high school wrote it. The premise was good and I really liked it My problem with it was the self publishing. It needs someone to go over it to bring out the best possible experience for the readers. I am excited for Book 2.
