This story was so realistic it was scary. I had to wonder how many women get married to selfish pricks like Mike in real life, and how many give their marriage their all and try to make everything work for the sake of their children, despite the undermining and tearing down behavior constantly thrown at them from their ungrateful dickhead husbands. That's entirely the gist of this story. Chiletz had a way of making the readers feel all the emotions and sadness that Everly endured at the hands of her despicable, selfish, uncaring husband.

The story takes a huge turn, when Everly finally has had a gutful of her husband's hateful, hurtful words and mistreatment. He lets the truth out about his real feelings for her, and it isn't pretty. After this devastating blow, Everly picks herself up, kicks her husband to the curb, divorces his ass, and gets on with her own life. A life she works her butt off to make happen.

Then we get to meet Everly's ex-boyfriend from her premarriage days, Nick. Nick comes back into Everly's life and sweeping her off her feet. Treating her like gold, spoiling her for the first time in her life. It was an awesome feeling when Everly's life finally took a turn for the better, and she was finally adored by a man she truly loved.

I enjoyed the heck out of this story. I especially loved Everly's best friend Gwen. She made my day when Gwen was an amazing best friend, always supporting Everly, and always there for her, no matter what. People don't often get best friends like that these days. And Everly's Grandmother was The BEST. I loved that woman. Reminded me so much of my own very amazing grandmother when she was alive. I absolutely adored the ending to this story too. It was absolutely perfect and such a tribute. I totally recommend this story to anyone looking for a semi/angsty read, with a fantastic HEA.

The h endures a marriage with a emotionally abusive jerk. She thought he loved her when they married. To me, the book has 2 parts with the first 50% of h in a marriage with a negligent husband and 2 kids.

The last 50% is the h maturing, finishing school, getting a job, raising her kids. It is in this second half that the h has a 2nd chance with an old boyfriend.

So, we have reality and fantasy. The first part of the book is a fairly realistic view of a bad marriage with a jerk and a h with low self-esteem. The last part of the book is fantasy with a hot ex-boyfriend who is still in love with her and treats her like a queen.

I was more engaged in the first 50% with the h and when she would pick herself up and get rid of the jerk. I was pulled into it. It was good to see the h move on and meet her prince but I became a little bored.

An enjoyable read. 3 stars.

Those book is divided into two parts.

The first part is featuring the fmc living in a stressful, unloving marriage where she is a stay at home mom of 2. She's unappreciated and her husband never never has sex with her except once, which results in a pregnancy ( which she later lises). She's burnt out and feels trapped. Right before her miscarriage in a moment of a heated argument. He admitted he only married her after a bribe from his parents after she got pregnant. He later retracts that statement but its too late..Everly has had enough.

That starts the 2nd part of the book..
She files for a divorce and at her daughter's soccer game is reintroduced to her ex boyfriend Nick who is unmarried and has no kids. Nick pursues her but Everly keeps him at arms length afraid to get hurt again.

Nick is everything her ex is not; he is a giver in and out of the bedroom. He provides her attention and love that her ex never have her.

The thing is although I enjoyed the mirror image reflection of the oppisiotes of the men in Everlys life. I thought Nick was too perfect. I lime to see flawed characters and Nick didn't seem to have any. He was just perfect and it seemed too much of a fairytale ending.

However I did enjoy the book and thought it was well written and entertaining.

The 'theme' of this book .... "YOU ARE ENOUGH" ... alone makes me wish I could give it more than 5 stars! As the mom of two daughters, I have tried to raise them with this belief!

This is my first book by this author, but definitely won't be my last.

We meet Everly in a bad place. She is in a crappy marriage to Mike, who is a total asshat!! She has two kids, who she loves, but you can tell she needs more. As it goes, we learn she was in school to be a nurse when she got pregnant and dropped out. Attempts to go back have not worked out.

I won't give too much away, but she starts to take charge of her life! I love her friend Gwen, and everyone needs a Grandma Kay in their life. And even if we don't have a door to paint red, we can figuratively paint that door! And Nick, well you need to read the book and get to know Nick.

The Grandma Kay sayings are priceless and I think we all need to be reminded that we are, indeed, enough!!

Enough. How many times do we all feel we aren't enough? I know in my own life, I have questioned this a few times. I can relate to this book on a few levels and see other bits in my friends life. It is a very realistic and moving story that I throughly enjoyed. I am a huge fan of Dawn L. Chiletz and I am cherishing all her novels.

This book could be in a few different categories, friends to lovers, second chance romance, slow burn, family saga - all of which I love to read. This was a sweet story that starts with a woman not sure if her life is where she had hoped it would be. She questions whether she is enough of a mother and wife. I think this is something we all might feel from time to time. Everly needs to find the girl she was to move on to the woman she wants to be. Sometimes going back is better than staying stagnant.

If you like to read stories with some spunk and backbone, grab this beauty and enjoy.

After reading this story I see how appropriate the title is to the story. Great praise to the author. Also I love the cover.

This is a truly beautiful story with a heartfelt message to anyone going through what Everly the main character is going through.

Everlys story is an emotional story. Her story is raw as we read of the heartache and pain she goes through. It's not all tears as the story does get lighter as we read more of her story.

This is my first read but certainly not my last of this authors wonderful stories. It's a brilliant gripping read that I loved. Be prepared you may need tissues.

This beautiful novel by Dawn Chiletz left me broken and then healed my soul. I feel like every woman should read this book. It will change how you look upon yourself. I felt like Dawn Chiletz had sat and watched my previous relationship (minus the children) and then wrote about me. To watch Everly finally find herself and the right relationship was so beautiful. But first she had to heal her soul. I was left sobbing in the end and had to put this book down before I could finish or even write this review. It touched me on so many levels and helped me realize that I am enough. Read this book. Feel this book. Realize that you are enough.

"What a wonderful world it would be if we could accept ourselves for who we are instead of who we think we should be." ~ Everly
Enough by Dawn L. Chiletz started off as a sweet surprise. As we read alot of fiction, we wanna escape from reality with characters who we wish we could be. With this story it started as not wanting to be Everyly instead I related so much with her. As some women and men, things can happen. They make choices based on what they feel they should do instead of what they really feel to do. In Everly and Mike's case this is exactly what happens. They made choices that later on caused a tornado that noone can clean up from.
Dawn writes the lives of these characters as raw as it can get. There is no fairly tale at first. This is all true life, at some moments it was like looking through a mirror. There are differences but almost every stay at home mom can relate to Everly. We put ourselves on the back burner for our kids. Most of us have support, Everly did not. When reading a book, most of the time there is always a character I dislike, that I'd like to lock of somewhere to dissappear forever. In this case I began to think that way but as I sat there I really thought about this and my heart bled for these two main characters. There was some parts that were hard to read cause I could imagine this happenening to alot people. All of this dialog and description Dawn bleeds from her heart draws me so much closer to her characters. Grandma kay, I had insta love for, anyone would be blessed to have one like her. Everly's bestie Gwen, I cant even explain what an amazing friend she is. Kale and Marlow are both exceptional sweethearted kids that warmed my heart. Nick, now he is heaven with a cherry on top. So as Everly had all these wonderful people in her life it only took one person to bring her down.....herself.
I think its very important for women to read this, there are so many Everly's out there. They can't see their happily ever afters so therefore they settle for no sweet ever afters. There are so many factors in this story and as I read the last lines a I felt so inspired by this character. Her self strength stopped asking her question....it told it!
There was every level of emotion and I starting at the bottom and soaring out of the top. All different feelings bled out my pores. I really feel like everyone needs to read about Grandma Kay's red door and make one of their own. I loved all the hidden meaning and symbolism in this story. Its definitely a 4 stars for me.

Enough.
Reading the synopsis of this book, I thought I knew what I was getting into. I was quickly proven wrong.
“God deals you a hand of cards. You can either play them or you can fold them but either way, it’s the only hand you are going to get.”
This quote from the book is the resounding theme of the entire story. When all things are considered, it is you, ultimately, that makes your own happiness.
This story is raw and, sadly, more real than most readers would probably like to acknowledge. It’s a chronicle of wrong choices, heartbreak, suffering and struggle. But it is also a tale of love and perseverance - one that proves things can still be bright even after the darkest of days.
Enough is a tremendously powerful story that shows how people can be strong when there seems to be no hope left. The main character Everly - wife, mother - puts everyone’s needs before her own because she’s convinced that is the only way she can validate her worth. And while Enough focuses primarily on her journey, it also touches on those around her who are dealing with their own feelings of inadequacy.
This story is about self love and how that self love not only changes one’s own perspective, but radiates outwardly to others as well.
This story is about family.
This story is about life.
Dawn L. Chiletz is a truly talented author and I never have doubts when cracking open any of her books. When reading this one, however, readers will be able to tell that Enough is something that Chiletz has reached, dug and pulled from deep down within her soul. It’s meaningful, layered and perceptive. You fight Everly’s fight right alongside with her, page after page, and root for her to get what she really deserves - the one true love that makes the most difference - her own love for herself.
If you want a read that is deep and insightful and thought provoking, this book will do the trick.
If I could give it more than five stars, I would. This is definitely a ten star book!

This book starts out with the main character, Everly, standing in a grocery store paralyzed with the realization of just how unhappy her life is. She married the wrong man for the wrong reasons. Her husband verbally abuses her, never helps her in any way even with his own children. Everly tries really hard to make her sham of a marriage work, but to no avail. She finally has ENOUGH after she finds out she is pregnant again and her husband admits things to her that are so cruel she can't stay in the marriage. What happens next is heartbreaking but, it is what finally gets her to realize she has to change her life.

I have to say, the first half of the book was very intense and at times I wanted to cry reading what this character was feeling and the abuse she was suffering through. The second half of the book is more uplifting, yes Everly struggles, and it's hard but she finally finds her way. Everly gets a second chance at love with her ex-boyfriend, the man she should have stayed with. She let silly misunderstandings tear them apart when they were young. And she almost ruins their second chance with her self doubt.

I especially enjoyed Everly's grandma Kay. She is a delightful character and really added a lot to the story. I also enjoyed Everly's bf Gwen, another self doubter, and her love interest Nick. Nick was almost too good to be true, but I still enjoyed his character.

This story is very well written, and I feel a must read for anyone who might be in a bad relationship or feeling they are inadequate. I love the message of the story, YOU ARE ENOUGH. never doubt yourself, you are stronger than you think. There are so many people out there stuck in a seemingly impossible situation and I think this book could help them.

This was my first book from Dawn L. Chiletz and it totally blew my mind away!

"We often ignore the truth to protect our hearts. But denial is temporary. The lies we tell ourselves burn forever in the corners of our mind. They linger and tease their legitimacy until we are willing to surrender to what we already know. They whisper and warn while we purge and ignore. It is easier to live a lie than to face the facts. Everything is not and will never be okay."

Wow! This book! While the first part had me struggling because I found it hard to imagine that the situation could actually exsist, the second one made up for it, totally.

It is hard to believe that such sitations are more common than we think when we are serounded by positivity. I hope this book gives hope strengh and courage to the woman who need it.

"You're more than enough."

Thank you Dawn for the copy <3

Wow... This is such a wonderfully written book. Everly was such a wonderful character. As a woman, we all go thru times where we feel inadequate and always comparing ourselves to what we believe others think and see. The journey Everly goes thru is a tough and uncertain road but she gets there with the help of some awesome people. Who wouldn't love to have Gwen or Grandma Kay in their corner? Nick was too die for. We all need a Nick. This book is more than a second chance romance, it's a self discovery of learning one's worth...of being enough just the way you are. I laughed, I cried, I got angry throughout this story. But more importantly I was traveling along Everly's journey feeling what she felt. I sometimes hate to read a book where the woman is so down on herself but it worked for me in this story as I found it relatable.

Kudos to the author... You have a real gem here!!

Enough is a gorgeous story! I loved Everly - she was so hard on herself, and she never thought she was enough. Her story was tough to read at times, but she had good women at her back to help hold her up when she was ready to fall down. And she also had two amazing children who were a big part of her story.
The romance was hot, and also very sweet, it made me swoon so much. And there was such a beautiful message to the readers. We are definitely enough!

Enough by Dawn L. Chiletz

Everly is strong, beautiful and so caring. Although, she does not feel or believe she is worthy. After loosing her family at a young age she is cared for by her grandmother. Everly is married and has two loving children. Her husband however is not a big help. He does not support her emotionally or show her love. Everly feels she has to fix her marriage and that everything that is wrong is her doing.
When she suffers a tragedy her eyes are opened and she wants to find her life again. She leaves her husband.
With the support system of her grandmother and her best friend Everly starts to live again.
Then something happens.
A person from her past re-enters her life and Everly struggles if she is worthy or fooling herself.
Will Everly find herself completely? Will she allow love in her life after so much turmoil?

Dawn L. Chilez novel titled Enough. I have read Dawn’s other two novels that I totally loved. Enough is amazing, emotional, and just phenomenal. I totally enjoyed this story. Dawn is a real storyteller. She has mastered the skill of connecting the reader!!! I was instantly taken back and love every minute of it. Dawn is very talented her writing style differs in this book than the other two and she did an amazing job. The context was believable, as a reader I need a sense of reality. I am also and a sucker for side characters. I love all the characters and this book left me waiting more. I want to comment that this book was edited well and the cover is soand the cover is so beautiful. I will continue to support this author’s book. I totally recommend Enough by Dawn L. Chiletz

If I could give this more than 5 Stars, I would. This book, I have no words to describe how much I loved this book. This book is raw, it is bone chilling, it is heartbreaking and this book makes you think. But then it is sexy, heartwarming, exciting, and the journey of one women discovering that she is Enough is simply beautiful.

Everly story is so heartbreaking, that I was physically cringing when reading it. My heart almost gave out with brokenness hearing the words she had to endure. But man when she finally did what she did and put herself first. I was like fist bumming in the air. This women, despite herself doubt and herself pity. I loved her strength, her determination and her wit. Watching this beautiful women get what she deserved and believe me when you read this and see what she gets..Wow..it is simply amazing.

I loved so many of the characters that Dawn wrote they had so much heart, so much soul. Cooper, Gwen, Kay, Marlow, Kale, ...Nick..OMG Nick!!! Everyone of these played such a major part of this story, and I love each and everyone of them. I have never felt so invested in secondary characters ever, until this book.

This book not only a story you can not put down, but it is a story has such a amazing lesson. This book is one of a kind. #MustRead #TopFavorite This book is that good.

First and foremost- have the tissues nearby because the waterworks start pretty early on. Everly is in an unhappy marriage, and her husband Mike is a complete douchenozzle. I seriously wanted to maim him for how he treats her. Being mistreated by someone who is supposed to love you can tear you down, and poor Everly is almost at rock bottom. Her insecurities are understandable, real, and something we can all relate to. What I loved the most was seeing her rise above it. While this book had me weeping in the beginning, by the end I was hopeful and content. It was beautiful, raw, emotional, and real. What's even more important than that is the message which is reiterated throughout the book with Everly's battle to discover her self worth as well as Grandma Kay's words of wisdom (man do I wish I had a Grandma Kay). This is a message that every woman needs to hear- that you are enough. So, what are you waiting for? Buy this book and read it now! I promise it will be worth every penny.

Oh, and Nick- hands off ladies- he is MINE! :)

Hooked from the start. This book. My god this book is my life. Everything Everly felt, I have felt. Everything she has been through, I have been through to some extent. My heart broke for her. Dawn nailed it with describing what it's like to be a stay at home mom who wants so much for herself, but gives it all up to give everything to her children. I knew I would love this book. I knew it would gut me. But I also knew it would put me back together in the end. Everyone feels like they're not enough at some point in their life. Not smart enough. Not tall enough. Not skinny enough. Not pretty enough. But we are enough. The only person we should care about truly and deeply is ourselves. We have to love ourselves and be enough for ourselves before we can be anything for someone else. This book portrays that message and it's done in an absolutely stunning way. The characters felt real and the story was one that a lot of women deal with. This is hands down one of my favorite reads ever.

I find Ev to be very easy to relate to. I also love that the story is pretty focused on a friendship. Gwen is a great character and Grandma Kay is pretty cool too. Ev has a moment that I'm sure many of us do although not always the same circumstances. She looks back at her life and how she got to where she was. This is the story of Ev trying to figure things out.

Ev has reached a crossroads and she's trying to get her life back on track. I really enjoyed the story and will gladly read other books by this author. I really like the journey that Ev takes as she deals with not feeling worthy comes to realize that she is worthy. The title is absolutely perfect for this book. The struggles of Gwen and Ev are ones that we can all relate to on some level.

What an absolutely gripping story of self and the struggle people have finding it. Of course it is also a love story that bats you back and forth, but really the trials and tribulations Everly and even her friend Gwen go through keeps them easy to relate to and their strength is inspiring. You hear of people dealing with issue like Everly and the struggle they have to persevere. This story gives you a bit of a deeper look into how some people are able to find themselves and how they get there. Cooper and Nick had their struggles with both of these ladies and handle things pretty well! mmm Nick and Cooper!!! Another great part of this book is Grandma Kay. Kay is piss your pants funny, wild, free grandma everyone loves and calls their own. Wonderful, wonderful job by Dawn L Chiletz. To say this is a page turner is an understatement.

I read this book for the first time a couple years ago, and I can honestly say, the second time around was even more enjoyable than the first.

Everly as a character is very relatable. She deals with body image, self-esteem, and relationship issues i’m sure many readers can relate to- even if your experiences don’t completely match what happens in her story.

I also have to touch on the star of the show for a moment, Grandma Kay. She is the heart and soul of this story and I have to say, I REALLY want a Grandma Kay quote tattoo someday 😅 Many of the things she tells Everly are the things I wish someone would have told me more often- and like Everly- I felt she kept me grounded.

For anyone who needs to hear it today, YOU ARE ENOUGH.

This book is very moving. I haven't read many books that involved the main character being a parent and the kids being a big part of the story, but I really enjoyed that aspect. I loved this story about second chances and Finding yourself.
Everly is amazing, and easy to relate to and her best friend Gwen is a fantastic friend. Kay is someone everyone needs in their life, I know I sure do! And Nick, that man! That beautiful, amazing, heart pounding man.
Dawn is a beautiful writer, her stories grab me and hold on. I LOVE when that happens. I'm very much enjoying this adventure she's taking us readers on and look forward to reading everything she ever publishes.
