I enjoyed this story with its cast of unusual, former military nobles and a heroine who was just as unusual. The book contained humor and a bit of subtle sexual innuendo, as well as a villain whom no one suspected. It was an excellent read.
I have read every one of Marly's books. I have to say that this book is, by far, my favorite book of hers. There are a couple spots in the book where the editor didn't quite fix the grammatical errors but it was easily gotten around. I must say that this book was a great read!
This was a cute, fun read. Unfortunately I haven't read all of them yet and the ones I have, I didn't read them in order, as I should have, but I came go back and fix that! :)
Decently not as entertaining as the rest of the books. If feels like the writer no longer wants to write this series. But it was a good read, just don't expect much from this one.
