I'm very happy going back to the 90s to discover the awesome writer, Jack Higgins is. It is refreshing to read a master at his craft in 1993, the second version of his Dillon character. 10 of 10 stars

This book was intense! I loved the scuba diving scenes.
Sean Dillon is an anti-hero- sort of...
The bad guy Max Santiago is arrogant and taunts his opponent quite confidently. Why not just finish Sean off more quickly? It was an odd dance...
This was a quick read. 7 for th summer so far.

For a book with the trope I'm not a huge fan of, I'm impressed since the plot and the characters completely got my attention—made me want to check out other works with Dillon in it.
