The contest is heating up in every way imaginable.
Bridget still only wants one thing: the money she needs to sort out her life, and the lives of those who depend upon her. And so far, nothing has broken the boundaries of what she’ll do for that money—though that edge keeps pushing further and further each day.
But now, battle lines are being drawn. Kylie versus Bridget, and everyone else falling over themselves to choose a side.
Kylie’s convinced Bridget wants to win, no matter what Bridget tells her to the contrary. And Kylie is determined that the top spot will go to her, and to her alone.
And all the while, Daniel Rice lurks at the edges of the contest—an unforgettable, unforgivable thorn in Bridget’s side, a ghost haunting her steps, a desperate need in her yearning core.
They say the competition can only have one winner. But the way things are going, Bridget isn’t sure there will even be that many.
Choose a side in Inferno Falls’ sexiest adventure yet.
I love to write stories with characters that feel real enough to friend on Facebook, or slap across the face. I write to make you feel, think, and burn with the thrill that can only come from getting lost in the pages. I love to write unforgettable characters who wrestle with life's largest problems. My books may always end with a Happily Ever After, but there will always be drama on the way there.
I completely don't know where this book is going and how to qualify it. If I'm curious? Yes, of course. And this ensures that I'll read the series to the end until I get to know all the answers. I need answers and see what's going on.
The game starts for real. Rivalry. Competition. Mind Game. We continue to speak in riddles. But it becomes increasingly clear that behind all this is thicker case. It's kind of an experiment. With people, their sexuality, and how far they go surround by other people. Who will follow others, who will lead and who designate their own path.
Nothing is as it seems. But you know more, or at least try to guess. So if you want to enjoy this book you must like uncertainty and mystery. I'm not sure until the very end we will know something for sure. It is really smoke and mirrors. This book is also highly sexual, even though I did expect more. The scenes are hot, but those that cross boundaries are described only partially.
How has it to the main characters? Of course, they are right in the middle of it, but this is no ordinary love story. You will not find romantic moments. They have sex, but there isn't much amorous moments. Daniel is possessive, but still mysterious. And Bridget continues her witty and stubborn demeanor. They are just discovering some things that cause their behavior. Hidden connection that started a long time in the past.
Of course, it ends up that you have to reach for another and see what happens. I definitely will do it. Because even though it's sometimes hard to read with all the misconceptions and unclear, the same idea of the book is fantastic and I would love to know how it will end.

Burning Rivalry picks up right where we left off and takes you on one helluva ride. I can’t seem yet to trust Daniel, but I’m loving him so much. I think as we get to see a more possessive side of him, he comes across a bit more endearing. But the link that he has to Bridget is still unknown and it’s killing me not to know what it is.
Bridget. Man that girl has some self-restraint. Beyond getting her loving from her mysterious suitor, she has to endure the sensual and erotic game that Trevor and his boys have set up and I can’t believe she isn’t scooting across the carpet trying to get some friction between her thighs.
We do get a bit of a cliffy at the end of part two, but that is expected and really one of the things about serials that I love. A short wait for the next and left with a gripping ending that has you craving more. For those that aren’t huge fans of serials – a bonus you get with this series, beyond the rapid fire release is the length. We aren’t looking at 75 page installments and you get a huge chunk of the story as it unfolds.
Worth checking out if you like an edgy romance with a touch of suspense.
I read BURNING RIVALRY immediately after finishing BURNING OFFER for two reasons: firstly because I was intrigued with the story and wanted to keep going; and secondly because I had no idea what was going on and didn’t want to risk forgetting anything. After finishing BURNING RIVALRY, I have to admit that I still have no idea what is going on in that house. Everyone talks in riddles and everything is based on strategy and manipulation. Quite frankly, this book is a mindfuck just like the games in the story.
There are three things I do know: 1 – Six of the twelve girls get eliminated. 2 – Daniel is supposed to be off-limits to the contestants, but his sexual relationship with Bridget appears to be the world’s worst kept secret. 3 – EROS is looking for that special something in a special someone that will help the company make more money.
BURNING RIVALRY is told in dual POVs, but again is mostly told in Bridget’s POV. It’s the second book in a four part serial, so it cannot be read as a stand-alone. I hate overly predictable books, so while I’m frustrated that I’m not understanding this book at all, I love the fact that I have no idea what’s going on or what’s going to happen.
The competition is underway and Bridget is back but she seems completely out of her element. The hostilities between Kylie and Bridgett have pushed them both centre stage and the rest are picking sides. The idea is the girls compete for the prize of becoming Trevor's wife but there's so much more going on here. I enjoyed this book more than the previous one 'Offer' (which I liked) my only real problem with 'Offer' was Bridget, she got in my nerves so much but in this book she didn't bother me as much, maybe I've just got used to her or maybe she just wasn't as annoying. Anyway, things were going along well and I'm glad I decided to continue on with this series but then Bridget has a TSTL moment, not her first one I'll grant you and plays right into Kylie's hands even after being warned and it's annoying because we keep being told how intelligent these girls are but Bridget seems severely lacking in fact the only things she seems to do well is speak before thinking and lose her temper. But and this is a huge but despite Bridget I've really enjoyed this book, I know that seems stupid since she's the main character but there's something here and I'm continuing on, the series is on KU and I need to know exactly what's going on.
Burning Rivalry picks up right where Burning Offer left off. I don't know what to make of Daniel and that's what keeps me reading. Bridget needs this money for her mom and for herself and needs to keep her cool to stay in the game. Daniel wants Bridget all to himself but it's against the rules. I wish Bridget could go after Kylie because someone needs to kick her ass. I can't wait to read what happens next and hopefully get more of Bridget & Daniel
This series is pulling me in. I really liked the first book, but this book was just as good! I'm addicted to the characters and can't wait for the next installment to release. Five glittery stars for this sexy instalment!
I really wish I didn’t want to know what happens with this competition since I think it’s a little ridiculous to pay $3 for a 100 page story that doesn’t finish the series. I think either have a bundle for like $5, or each book should just be $1. But I want to know what happens, so I’ll give in and buy the next 2 to finish it up. There’s still no background on these ancillary rich people they keep talking about like we know them. Who the hell is Alexa? I’m certainly not going to spend more money on her other books to have more background on them. I mean, have a few lines about these guys so those of us who haven’t read them all don’t feel so lost.
I’m really enjoying this series. It’s different then anything I’ve read before. And unlike in the inferno falls series where you get left wanting more because the main characters don’t get together till the last chapter. I feel fulfilled with these books. Can’t wait to finish the last 2 books
Picking up where book #1 left off, Burning Rivalry take us a little dipper into what the competition/game, is all about. In addition, we learn more about Daniel's motives towards Bridget, which in my opinion, for everything he's doing, doesn't compare to the rejection he felt when they were in school together. I wouldn't want anyone like him sharing my bed.
If it wasn't because Bridget is staying out of all those orgys, I think I should have stopped reading long ago. Honestly, and with all due respect, it sound more like a whore-house and the 4 pimps, actually I don't know who's worse, Daniel or the 4 pimps. I'm sorry, I just say it as I see it, and it makes me mad, that Bridget even play alone and diminish herself for money, money that her foster brother will be more than happy to provide her with. And what makes it more difficult for me to understand, is the fact that in "The Boss's Daughter (Inferno Falls Series)", she didn't mind asking him for money when he barely had any, but now that he does, her pride comes first!
Why endanger herself, and disregard how worried the people who really care about her is? She wasn't kidnapped, or being hold against her will, which I think I should had been better. However, at this point, it be to late is something like that happend, because I wouldn't believe it!
In my eyes what salvage the situation is that even though she's sleeping with one guy only, at least she hasn't whore herself completely. Don't take me wrong, the story is captivating, interesting, infuriating, with twists and turns, and much, much more. Is so addictive, that I keep pre-ordering the books because I need to know what's going to happen next.
As this is a series, you have to expect that each book ends with a cliffhanger. I'm also glad that each installment comes out really close to the one before.
So, in this second book of the series we get to see all 12 contestants compete against each other in order to win Trevor over. Basically what happens in the mansion looks like the famous reality show The Bachelor only that there are no inhibitions and the sex in the open is more than tolerated. Our Bridget decides to stay (behaving decently) until the first round of eliminations because she needs the money for her family. Although there were moments I thought that our heroine will slip and will follow the crowd I am so happy that she didn't crave in. I had found Daniel as frustrating and mysterious as I found him in the first book but also more caring towards Bridget. His alpha male side turned out to be a huge turn on!!! I definitely want more moments with Daniel claiming Bridget *blush*. I also liked the fact that in this book we can see a little bit more of Trevor's personality. I still can't decide if I like him or not so I am waiting impatiently for the next book to find out more. For the sake of the story I wanted for Bridget the chance she received at the end, but I didn't dare to hope in case I will be disappointed. Yes, it ends with a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read what happens next but it also gave me a thrill of excitement. Enjoy!!
I’m really loving this series! I loved this part even more than the first part. In the first part I got to know the characters and what the contest is about, but in this book I learn that it’s more than a contest. I really want to know what the contest is really about! This book starts where Burning Offer ended and it ends with the first elimination. There is some commotion near the end of the book that could jeopardize Bridget’s stay in the contest. Bridget is still doubting whether she wants to stay longer, because of the money that could help her realize her dreams, or if she wants to leave, because this contest isn’t her thing. I really loved Bridget and Daniel in this book. I still didn’t learn anything about their past, but Daniel is changing his opinion about Bridget. He likes her and wants her to be his. He gets jealous when the other men touch her. He always finds ways to spend time with her and to have sex. The sex was hot! I also like Jessica in this book. She’s a great friend of Bridget and I really hope she wins the contest. I loathe Kylie. She’s one evil woman and wants Bridget out of the contest. She will definitely cause more trouble in the future. I can’t wait for the next part!
Wow, I am loving this series so far, Burning Rivalry picks up right where Burning Offer left off. Bridget finds herself in over her head, but she just can't leave. Kylie is out to get her any way she can, she is the rival that Bridget has to watch her back with. We get more from Daniel in this book, but I'm still on the fence about this guy. Bridget and Daniels attraction is explosive, and they have a hard time staying away from each other even though it's dangerous for them to be together. We get to know more about a few of the other characters too, everything is slowly being revealed, like peeling back layers.
This story is kinda like The Bachelor on crack! I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, there is such a sense of danger and foreboding laced through out the story. It's one of the most compelling and original plots I have ever come across. I can't quite figure out where this story is going, and the ending left me wanting more! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Ok so I finished this a few days ago and I just needed time till I could write down words because I didn't know how I was feeling. I expected the book to finish the way it did there were no surprises there but I felt myself forgetting what happened and how I felt through the rest of the book because I was so focused on what was going to happen in the third instalment.
I really would have loved to see a little more of Bridget's "Dates" with Trevor rather than her just telling us these had happened. Maybe I'll read Burning Choice and think oh ok that really wasn't needed but right now I feel I'm missing something that they could have given me a clue maybe not but the gloss over was kinda annoying.
I'm not sure how I'm feeling about Daniel at the moment either. I don't know if he has Bridget's best interests even though he says his motives and feelings have changed.
I'm really enjoying this series and especially the twists and turns.
We pick up where we left off in the first book. Bridget is back in the mansion, much to the displeasure of most of the other girls in the house. She is doing her best to stay away from all the other contestants until she has to participate in the challenges. Daniel is the only person that she feels she can trust, but she still gets the feeling that he hates her at times. We get another glimpse from Daniel's POV, so we know that he knew her at some point in the past, but she doesn't remember him at all. What is really going on in this 'contest' that they are running? Something tells me that it isn't really about finding a wife for Trevor. As much as I dislike cliffhangers, I do want to find out what the final outcome will be. We've heard her mentioned a few times, but exactly who is Alexa?

An incredible continuation from book 1. I absolutely enjoyed Burning Rivalry.
In this book we come upon the first eliminations from the contest and things don't go smoothly things kick off, contestants being devious to get what they want....the ultimate rivalry. just brilliant!
Things are more heated between Daniel and Bridget...steamy!!!! eeek!!! im so excited to know what happens next...the build up in this book is really cool ..... will he? wont he?.... From a past that Daniel will tell no one about comes a hate for Bridget, but now he is confused, he should hate her but he cant seem to do it.
Im really looking forward to seeing how things will work out with Daniel and Bridget.
The suspense is killing me. im definetly following their story in Burning Choice book 3.... I Need To Know What Happens!!
As the contest continues, you have to know that the relationships are strained. Secrets are revealed. Love is provoked. This series definitely reminds me of the TV show, The Bachelor. Because I mean, Trevor is the ultimate bachelor.
But Daniel and Bridget are a couple that heats up a room with their hidden passion and lust for each other. How they secretly fight for their love and how Bridget is there by mistake and Daniel is not letting her go without a fight.
But is this game truly just a game? Is there something behind the competititon? Keeping me on my toes is definitely a way for me to come back for more and more. So with a hot 4 out of 5 stars, I want more of Trevor's Harem.
Ohhh Man Aubrey Parker had done it again......first she left me hanging with The Burning Offer and now that i am good an hooked into Daniel's and Bridget's story she dropped another bomb......but in a good way.....I love this story because its intriguing and mysterious and fun. I love all the sexual tension between them and how they deal with it. I am dying to know how Daniel and Bridget have a connected past.........I love a story that makes you think and this series is it! Must Read!!! Ps. I am all about Reality TV :)
Who wants to marry a billionaire? Who indeed because the game has begun. There's lies, backstabbing, fights and hot sex all over the place! Bridget is just trying to stay in the game for her cash while also trying to figure out "you're mine!" Daniel. I don't know what's up with the dude yet, he's still all mysterious like . More of the story is unfolding and it's elimination time, stuff is about to get real. Can't wait for #3!
Well i just finished. Lot more drama. Damn Kylie makes a good vixen (I'm being polite) and Bridgette is her goal. But Kylie doesn't realize that Bridgette is stronger even though its killing her not to beat Kylie's butt. LOL but Kat puts a scare into Kylie you wouldn't believe. I'd tell you more but if any of you read my reviews i don't usually give much story line because you should read the story so you can enjoy it as much as i did. Good work Aubrey Parker. I couldn't read it fast enough.
Wow! The story continues as Bridget begins to participate more and spend time with Trevor and the girls. Kylie, being the brat sneak that she is, starts a whole mess that has everyone believing Bridget will be eliminated immediately. This was a twisting, turning, edge of my seat adventure. Can't wait to see what happens next. Can't wait to see Kylie eventually get what's coming to her.
OMG is the first thing that popped in my mind when I finished this one. I received an advance copy to review and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book! This story is unlike anything else I've read, with a clever idea behind it. Lots of twists and turns so far and I can only assume many more to come. Definitely worth a read...... But buckle your seatbelt!
Mind games is right. I couldn't put the book down. Daniel and Bridget are magnets feeding off the negative side of the attraction. Afraid to admit to what the positive side is doing. As each chapter unfolds I doubt even my own summation of the story. Ms. Parker continues to surprise me. At each turn of the I mutter "WTF"? Well done AGAIN.
What is really going on? More questions than answers....more lies and mind games. I literally can not put this series down. I must figure it out. I need to know the outcome. I'm secretly rooting for Daniel and Bridget...but should I be? Aubrey really knows his stuff...how to keep you on the edge of your seat and pull you deep into a story.
Second book in this series and I am really enjoying it. Mystery and intrigue surround this story of deceit and lies. With will win? Bridget joined the game to earn money but is she in it for more? Can she get past those that don't want her to stay? Great story! Ready for book 3!
The storyline is getting interesting and I can't wait to the next one . I am really getting into this series because you think one minute you're able to so what's going on and then it twisted something else .
Really getting good. I do have to say, there's not a whole lot of sex scenes in these books, I expected more. Also, I feel the books are quick reads, and the 4 books probably could've been 2. The storyline is unique and I enjoy the mind games. I can't wait to find out all the secrets.
